FRUGALSUZ- There is a $1.00 Mitchum coupon on coupons.com zip 62946 I'm not sure which post you are responding to of Frugal Suz's, but I'm presuming it has to do with the Mitchum sale at Wags. Am going to post the details here in case it is of use to anyone: Mitchum 2/$6 $4 RR Use (2) $1 mq's per above. Final price: Free (after RR) (ETA: Luv2Sav - I hope that didn't come across in any sort of negative way. I just happened to be printing the Mitchum q's when I saw your post.)

I just saw a BOGO Q for WhoNu on coupons.com. Don't know if that'd be helpful or not. I don't remember what zip code it was. I saw it when looking for something else I saw on a blog. Try 90210 or 30303. leanna: I appreciate it, but please save your postage if all you have is one. The WhoNu cookies? They must be a new brand cuz I've never heard of them. Who carries them? DancinMama - I've asked my coupon buddy here if she has used her Emerald q's. If she hasn't, then I will have a few to send you. Ummm...lol....no idea on the WhoNu cookies. This same coupon buddy is the one who wants em, so I have no idea what they are. I think they are new and I think maybe Alb's has 'em, but really not sure. The BOGO q that Constanz gave me the link to should help her - I printed out the max I could here plus I have 2 of the $1 ones to give her.

Well, I got up this morning, went on my mega walk, came home, showered, and called my fav butcher at Safeway. I told him that I had noticed yesterday evening that he had several chickens that were expiring today and asked him if he had put 50% off tags on them or if I had to wait until 4:00. He said that he'd tag them for me as soon as I got to the store. I bought (4) yesterday and (9) today for a total of (13) @ $.50/lb. I asked him about freezer burn and he said that they would last indefinitely in the package without any problem. I guess I bought that new freezer just in time. I have been able to almost fill it up with chicken, ribs, a ham, pork tenderloin, beef fillet, and bacon. Now if things really go tits up, we're good to go. If not, I have a freezer filled with REALLY CHEAP meat. Awesome price on those chickens!

GDA:Actually, this is a good q alert! For you Safeway shoppers (probably all their affiliated stores), there is always a monthly 8.5x11 flyer/pamphlet thingee in the produce area. There are usually some good q's in there. You have to look for this thing because it is located in different areas of the produce dept. in the various stores. Like a treasure hunt: sometimes on a flat stand in the back of the dept; somtimes in a plexiglass holder attached to the fruit tables. Hope that makes sense. At any rate, the July one has a $2 off Fresh Express salad kit q inside! The q is for Safeway only but they usually have the kits on sale 2/$5. Two q's would make that 2/$1. Yeah...I used a 0.75 for a Fresh Express Kit last night at Tops. Was $2.50 - $1.50doubled Q = 1.00 which was ok.

And it all stemmed from the fact that suzi posted a nonchalant post about getting whole chickens at Safeway for $.69/lb. so I really owe it all to her. THANKS AGAIN SUZI!! DH loves beer can chicken so we will put a whole chicken on the grill. We prefer the dark meat so that will get eaten for the original meal. Then I'll take the breast and dice up the meat and make chicken spaghetti (using free spaghetti ;D, really cheap cream of mush soup, and free canned mushrooms from WAGs). The recipe also calls for diced onion and shredded cheese. That's about it. And that makes enough for (2) meals!! We'll eat it once and I'll freeze the second meal's portion and serve it a couple of weeks later. Rinse and repeat. ;D

973beach, Was the milk the only item in your transaction? If so, you will not be able to use an Up. If you had multiple items, then the Up will attach itself to another item that is not milk and it should work. I had other things in the transaction but not enough to use up the UP. The UP wouldn't attatch to the milk at all. Which was actually the point of buying it there in the first place so that is out now. Hmm, I'm trying to think if I've ever only bought milk at RA using UP's. I definitely have at CVS and that went thru just fine. You could get a small filler at RA if you want to use up UP's there.

Well, just when I felt like we were heading into a total "no deal zone"...
I went to RA to get an OTC med. And before I left, I saw on Krazy Coupon Lady that you could get some of the cheaper Revlon beauty tools for free using the new $1 coupon on coupons.com.
I have 2 computers now, so I was able to print out 4 q's.
There were only 3 nail clippers left at RA that would be free after coupon. I decided to get 2, and leave 1 for someone else. No need for me to be selfish since I already have a few nail clippers that I got for free in the last few months.
And, drumroll please, I got a survey with my receipt!
I was thinking no more surveys for me and well, there ya go. Of course, I have to admit that I have no scenario to use this for just yet. But something will probably come up.

Staples just emailed out a coupon for 25% back in Staples Rewards on any purchases made in the store! (couple of things are excluded) This SD post has links to the coupon at the bottom. slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=41141916&postcount=1I need a new desk, so this is great timing! ETA - just asked the gurus if you can combine this with a rebate item and they said yes! So, buy: Staples Photo Plus 4X6 Paper Gloss 60 pack for $9.99, get back 25% rewards ($2.50) and $9.49 rebate = $2 profitHammermill 8.5x11 CopyPlus copy paper 500 sheet/ream for $5.99, get back 25% rewards ($1.50) and $4.99 rebate = $0.50 profit *This is limit 2 Frugalsuz: I am interested in doing your deal tomorrow at Staples. If I pay with $16.00 in Staples rewards, will I get the rebate and the Staples rewards?

Maybe it's because no one seems to take any (but me ). I got a boatload of them when the $1/1 Del Monte Real Fruit Smoothie coupons were in them and the smoothies were priced at $1. I stockpiled those smoothies like crazy and am still enjoying them!! ;D Geez, as to quantity - when do they expire? The farther out the date, the more that I could use. Do you have my addie? Is there anything that I can send you?

So, I don't think you'd get back the full 25%.

Dancin My Safeway (Dominicks) NEVER gets any of the coupon sheets or booklets I see talked about here or even on my local shopping blogs.
I think the store mgr hates them and/or the employees must keep them all for themselves.

I went to my fav cashier at Safeway the other day. Over a year ago she had asked me about how I found all the great deals and I gave her a couple of websites (HCW and MFA) and she really got into it. Well, she told me that she's not doing it any more. So here's an example of someone who went all gung ho and is now using few if any coupons - and at a time when you'd think that you'd need to the most. The next time I go through her line, I'm going to ask her why she's not couponing any more. It would be interesting to find out because since she started, the economy has only gotten worse.
She also mentioned to me that Safeway, Dominick's, Vons is going to be imposing more limits on coupon usage. Since I don't have double coupons the only thing that I think they could limit is the number of like coupons in the same transaction. This could screw up the deals where you have to buy 8 or more of an item to get an additional discount. I never get THAT MANY great coupon deals from the grocery stores anyway. If I didn't have WAGs and CVS, the amount of FREE food that I would have gotten over the past year would be pretty slim pickings.

I'm still new to couponing, but here are a couple things I'm excited about:
CVS - I just got a tag thingy for $.99 where you bring your own bag, scan the tag, and after 4 visits get $1.00 ECB. I've been meaning to get this, and kept forgetting, but finally got one yesterday. I had to get a prescription filled, so while I was waiting I was wandering around the store and saw trash bags for the city I live in. We have to buy special trash bags for $10.00 (for 10 small or 5 large bags), and all the local grocery stores sell them. But I didn't know CVS sold them, so now I can start using my ECB and knock down the price of the trash bags I HAVE to buy.
Rite Aid - I had to run to Rite Aid for my company, I needed batteries for my mouse, and I got them on sale for $5.77, and got $1.00 UP reward. This an expense my company will pay for, and I can keep the $1.00 UP reward. And . . . I got a survey! I just completed it, printed my $3.00 off next purchase of $15.00 or more. Now I hope there are some good deals within the next two weeks so I can use it.
I am still taking it slow with the couponing, I have my Sunday paper delivered so usually only have one coupon for anything. I want to bump up my couponing a little now, so I will probably get another paper if the coupons are good.
I have a question, I don't have a printer at home, but can occasionally use the one at work. Last year I tried to download the "print bar" for a coupon site (at my work computer), and accidently downloaded a virus, my IT person was upset with me for this. So, I can't print coupons at work. But my question is, I just printed the Rite Aid coupon $3/$15 and it printed with no problem, I didn't download anything. Is there a coupon site out there where you can routinely print coupons without downloading the "print bar"?

You need to download the coupon printing software for printing the bricks and smartsource coupons. If you need something, you can always post a Hound Alert here and if available, someone will always send them to you. HTH
