HOUND ALERT: I am in need of some coupons for the Kroger Mega Event: $1/1 dannon dano-nino and danimals yogurt coupons from 6/5SS $2/1 Wisk 6/26 RP .50/1 Chi-chi's salsa from 5/15SS or 6/12SS PM me and I will see if I can trade, etc for any of these coupons. I still have a week and a half of this sales cycle at my Kroger. TIA misspt: I didn't get the $1/1 dannon or the Chi-chi's. I would send the Wisk if they were expiring in the next week, but I am now buying detergent for DSis and DS and am HOPING for a deal on the Wisk before they expire. Unfortunately the ad previews aren't up yet through the first week of August when they expire. So so sorry. Hopefully, I'll be able to help you next time around.

Oh good, TheHome6 - I didn't want you to have trouble w/the rebate. Ov vey - just did a little bitty shopping trip to both Wags & RA today. Wags is where I buy my newspaper (RA doesn't sell 'em where I live.) The last couple of times I've shopped at Wags w/coupons it has taken me FOREVER to get out of there. I got both the Milka chocolate and the Carefree pantiliners. Was a mess with both. Nice cashier figured it all out eventually, but it took quite awhile to get it all straightened out. Now that I am starting to feel better, I may not always have the patience to wait around for really small free items when I already have so much at home. But, like I said, was going there anyway to get the paper. Now, RA, I just love, love, love. Got the U by Kotex free pantiliners. Went smooth as butter. Here's the link to the coupon if anyone needs it: www.ubykotex.com/get_coupons/print

WAGs FREE CHOCOLATE ALERT!!The Milka European Chocolate is on sale this week 2/$3 (you have to buy 2). There is a $1/1 printable in the HCW coupon database (type in milka in the search engine; it's a Bricks coupon so the limit is 2 prints per computer) and a $1/2 coupon in the WAGs July coupon booklet. My hormone system like FREE CHOCOLATE!! Mmm...the hazelnut variety is delicious. Not that I need any on top of the 10 free 3 musketeers bars I got yesterday... Hey...Extreme Couponing marathon today! Because we needed that to come back again I finally hit up the kroger mega sale yesterday. I felt like I should be on EC but I only saved a measly 71%. Coupons.com has an IP for $1/1 skittles or starburst bag, and they are on sale for $1.50 at kroger. I bought one of each and also got a free redbox code too, so I think it was worth it. The mega sale deals are really not what they used to be...no overage items, very few freebies. The cashier also tried to tell me that they only take 2 of the same coupon, which I've never heard before. He was a nice kid, so he agreed to just take them so I didn't need to argue. When I went to look at the ad, it still says "unlimited double coupons every day", so I'm really not sure how that's supposed to work. Honestly, if they didn't want to deal with the fallout from EC, they shouldn't allow their stores to be featured on it.

I made a beautiful pasta salad last night with free pasta, free black olives, free salad dressing, and cheap broccoli and cheese. We're going to have it today with some $1.99/lb. pork spare ribs and a $1/ea. cantaloupe melon. ;D I have to admit, cheap groceries are getting harder and harder to come by. They were NEVER my strong suit as I have never had doubles anywhere, but I was always able to get by by cherry picking, picking up discount meat, etc. Now, the discount meat is bought up really quickly and the cherry picking is slim pickin's, etc. I noticed that the regular sales prices at WAGs are going up too. Bacon used to be 2/$7and now it's 2/$8; butter used to be 2 lbs./$5 and now it's 2 lbs./$6. I used to buy my butter at WAGs with free RRs (which there have been none of recently). Looks like I'm going to have to hit up Costco for butter pretty soon.

I think the problem was with the Carefree, not the Milka. But don't quote me on that. I think the IVC on the Carefree wouldn't go through so he did something weird where he price-modified the Milka and the Carefree. I have a feeling if you just buy the Milka, there won't be a problem.

Protein items are getting more & more expensive & you have to have protein - ie meat/chicken/fish/dairy or vegan options of beans.

If anyone has an Acme near them they have a pretty good catalina deals this week. Buy 4 of cheerios, nature valley granola, fiber one bars plus a few others and you get a cat for free milk up to $4.50 plus $2.00 OYNO. Plus they have a few other OYNO cats. I also have a $5/$25 coupon, that I can use with a few man coupons. Hopefully I can save some decent money. I also live in the land of crappy coupons. If I can save even close to 50% off the sale prices, for groceries, it is a great trip. The only thing I can ever get for free are box cake and brownie mix. Since I would rather not be 400 lbs I normally don't do that too often.

Misspt - I'm glad you are getting the coupons you need! I looked the other day when you posted, but I either didn't have the q's or had already given the ones you want away!

Oh my lordy, it was a nightmare at RA. Now I know to speak up the next time a cashier just keeps taking my UPs! Leanna, I couldn't remember what time I did my transaction (I am a ditz), so the manager couldn't look up the transaction number. But he was SO nice, he 'returned' my Benefiber for $4, and just gave me the cash, instead of me doing a SCR.

But that is so great that the Mgr took care of it for you and gave you cash! Now you don't have to wait on that one. I tell ya, I've had so many times recently where I've had items that were rung up wrong & I've had to go back & get it fixed. We really have to be so careful to watch our transactions.

Beachbum tried the deal for the nature valley and fiber one that gives the $2 cat and milk and neither printed sent an email but can't find a # to call. I should have gotten $4 and 2 gallons of milk. I have coupons for honey nut cherios and the nature valley but afraid to try again until I get the first mess fixed. Let me know how your trip goes.

I would think that the store would fix it somehow. I have never had them not print at Acme but at my Shoprite they have not printed, and customer service just gave me the cash. It would be one thing if it didn't print and it wasn't advertised but that is all over the ad and store. I was going to go tomorrow. I will post what happens.

saveinla: I just got back from CVS. The ad at my store showed the Vlasic for $1, but they scanned at $3.29 or $3.59 (don't remember now). I showed the ad to one of my fav cashiers and he price adjust them for me. On Tuesday I'm going to go in and get a rain check for (10) jars based on the ad and then wait for an insert coupon to come out for them!! ;D

I picked up my inserts tonight. Not ONE food coupon in them!!
I went to WAGs and picked up my FREE chocolate. DH loved the one with the English toffee in it.
I went to CVS and picked up my free toothbrushes and cheap Vlasic pickles.
I went to Safeway and picked up pork spare ribs in freezer burn resistant packaging for $1.99/lb. We had them for dinner tonight and they were wonderful so I went back to get (5) more packages.
I will be going back to CVS to try the deal on the Hydra shave gel. Hopefully it will still be working on Tuesday when I have to go out again. I'm not wasting gas chasing "maybe deals" these days.

Misspt, so you still need Qs? I have 10 of the ChiChi's and can share some Wisk (I want 1-2 bottles myself but I can send the rest). Sorry, but I can't spare the yogurts. I imagine that you do know how quickly kids can go through them. Mine love them. I think they would skin me alive if I didn't keep those. Let me know if you still need the others and I'll get them out pronto.

Micky I agree. I definitely think there's a time and place for public assistance. But I think that assistance should come with some life training so people can break the cycle. Edible coupons. What will they think of next? Eta nickylee damn autocorrect I love the idea of life training w/ the public assistance! A mandatory coupon class, perhaps a coupon swap spot at the office so people can add/find coupons while waiting for appointments.

I went to WAGs and picked up my FREE chocolate. DH loved the one with the English toffee in it. That's the flavor I bought too! I'm not that into milk chocolate (mostly I eat dark), but that one sounded yummy. Either I'll eat it, or some of my trick-r-treaters are gonig to get lucky!

Slick as Snot as the saying goes. ;D I did two transactions. The first was 4 Fiber One bxs for $10.00 minus 1 .40 cent mc doubled and 2/.75cent mc doubled for a final total of $6.20 and got back a $2.00 cat plus a coupon for free milk. Trans 2 was a bunch of stuff but included 4 HN cheerios and 4 more fiber one's and a gallon of milk. It totaled $46.62. I had a $5/$25 coupon from Acme plus used 3/$1 man coupons and then 2/$2.00 cats plus the free milk rang through as a $4.50 coupon. ;D For a final total of $29.12. Plus I got back 2 more Free milk coupons and 2/$2.00 cats.

Goodness, I think that Avon 39.3 trek finally caught up with me. I went to bed last night at 9 and woke up this morning at 8! I got the free chocolate at WAGS, too, and tried to get the Carefree free--but the only cashier was the older Filipino lady and, true to form, she would not reduce the $3/2 WAGS q for the two Carefree. It was early but the manager was nowhere to be found. So I had her void the order and not use the .50 man q. I ended up paying .41 for everything--not bad. What was interesting is the tax was only on the .38 (2 carefree at 1.69 ea--I didn't use the in ad q at .99 ea because that would have really confused her) This lady has been a cashier there forever so I'm sure she knows how to do this. I tried to explain to her what needed to happen but that just made her upset. This is the WAGS closest to my house--the one farther away (by 5 miles) never bats an eye and adjusts the q when I tell them that's what needs to be done. Oh well.... 41 cents isn't going to kill me.
