Pink, would you like to live on 6 acres, I assume out further? Could be pretty nice and safer too. You guys are young, would be a great place for his son to grow up on.

Must be a phase of the moon or something, little guy took the trash out for me and didn't even fuss. DD has been cooperative.
Son worked all day to fix DIL's brakes. So lot of good people moves here too. Sounds like everyone had family do what they should.
MPL, I'm glad you got Gus's hooves fixed, poor old guy.
Hope good thing happen for everyone, especially those looking for better job situations. I know that can be miserable.

Grandson is here for the weekend I'm sure, LOL! His mom made spaghetti sauce and it was great, best I've eaten, much better than mine, I need to get her recipe. The kids loved it.
We have an injured bunny in the yard. He/she is here most every day. I noticed it lying down for a bit. The fur on the back right leg looked messed up. When I looked later it's little leg was crooked. He was eating. I tried to call a wildlife rehabber but everything was closed for the day. I think the little thing goes under the modular of the shed. I found a whole under each at the corner when pulling weeds. I bet a car hit him or an animal got him, now I'm worried about him and will. With it being the weekend I bet I can't reach anyone. I did read how to catch him and what to keep him in until I get in touch with someone, but over the weekend? Poor baby.
I am going to look at a house not to far from here. We know it needs work from the price, its $375k. I would say the worst looking place in the neighborhood. But its a beautiful neighborhood and I think from looking up property records and such it has been a rental. It has the potential to be a very nice place. Son is going with me tomorrow. It's close to 1400 sq ft, 2 car garage, nice lot, fenced but overgrown in front. They are saying highest price but we will go list only, as is, and all cash. Many times that will buy one. Looks like the prices for nice ones there are $100k more, but this one is ugly now. All grown up across the front, ugly paint colors inside, they put in new carpet, and just needs a lot. But nothing we can't do. I told hubs if he doesn't like it, we can slowly fix up and sell later. I think its mostly aesthetics. We just saw a modular out here where we live on Black Lake go up for sale at $165k and another down the street. That would be a nice profit on this one too, since we paid $70k for it. We don't intend to flip anything but hey. We can paint pretty cheap and not hard for us to do. And cleaning is not so hard either. I doubt we get it but like hubs said this would work as we could get here and move what we want, sell the rest and get our house up for sale. Hubs is like me, we are tired and just want to get this done. We can clean and and make habitable if we get it and put this place and the other house up for sale. We will have to deal with the third place after the fact, but those two will allow us to more than replace our cash. If we get it fine, if not fine, we are not doing bidding wars.

It was a good day. DIL and I spent time together, we got the rest of the ingredients for gumbo, I made it, she made jasmine rice for this and another Philipino dish she made. We went to Home Depot and got her a hose nozzle, I picked up a hose and nozzle even though will not get much use from it this summer. Mine down home are in poor shape and DD can likely use it too. I threw the old ones here away.
We went to Home Goods to look around but did not buy anything then got the kids McD's. I looked at a picture, but no point in getting anything before we get a home and then it might not even go with it. Went to pick up grandson and son went to buy rotors and brakes for her car. He is taking most of the week off to fix them. He got in about 11.
Then he came by too and we ate gumbo.
I bought green beans but really don't have enough for all of us. Think I will bake a ham tomorrow, make scalloped potatoes and have green beans with it. Might even bake some banana nut muffins.
Not doing much of anything, it was pretty cool here today. I may do a little yard work tomorrow. Just going to mess around, if they need the car they can use it tomorrow. I'm sure grandson will be here this weekend. He likes to come here.
DIL and DD played a kind of game for about an hour, DD loved it and DIL has patience with her. It's nice for her to have someone else in her life and grandson is very nice to her also.
Going to get my shower and wash my hair, had a really good day, and also hubs results, made me so very happy.

MPL, I'm curious, why does a horse that's foundered need his feet treated more often?
My hubs PSA is .006! But the ideal was to be 0, does that mean there is still some cancer there?
At least it is way way down from .533.

Haven't gotten the results of hubs PSA yet. I was awake at 5 this morning couldn't sleep. I am so worried about him.
I talked to him this evening and was telling him I missed him, he told me he really missed me too. He doesn't admit that often.
We are hoping its ready tomorrow, otherwise will have to wait till next Wednesday when he goes in to see his doc.
We all went out to lunch at the Budd Bay restaurant on the water in downtown Olympia, it was very good and quite expensive. But we all enjoyed it.
Have grandsons 3 gifts, his mom said he will love them. And I'm hoping he will get his Oyla mag subscription started, she said he will really like that. So that is done.
I am ready for bed and involved in a movie.

The walk in clinic did give me something for cough last time that worked. I believe it is called benzonatate.
Still no results for hubs test. I hope we can see it. He has an appointment next Wednesday if we can't.

I have slept sporadically all night. Today hubs got his PSA test again. I called him and he has already had it. So now I need to keep signing into his patient portal to see the results. I am so nervous. I called him he got there early to get it done, he said not worrying me. Sure that was why he was there at 7:30 before some of the labs even opened. Hope that one does it to the portal.
If I lay back down likely will sleep till noon. Guess I could set an alarm.
Wish us good luck, I'm worried sick over this.
We got the bank accounts, my car, the 2 houses with the trust designation. But still have 2 401k's, one should be done, the big one isn't but we can do it over the phone soon as I get home, both of us has to be on the call. Then I have the bonds and The stock. I'm going to try getting a treasury direct account open today and tomorrow for the bonds then can send them in when I get home. The attorney is prodding us to get it done, but I ran out of time, than got up here and forgot about it to be honest.
Now the waiting.
I hope we don't have to wait till next Wednesday to see the results, I will be a nervous wreck, waiting. Nothing there yet, didn't expect it yet, but checked anyway.

I finally heard what happened here mostly on the news today.
The wreck involved 2 vehicles and a motorcycle. They said a truck slowed down and was turning right, the motorcycle was behind him. The car behind it did not slow down. The motorcycle went under the truck and when the car hit apparently a fire started. The truck was able to move forward and they were not hurt and ran back and got the motorcycle guy out and then helped the car driver out too. He ran back to get something out of the car. I'm sure the motorcycle guy was the one that was air lifted out to Seattle. The driver of the car was treated at the scene and was arrested. But they didn't say anything about the light pole, its obvious it had been replaced and I'm betting they hit it too. So some was left out, it then stated that 2 of the people were related. I'm betting 2 of those were the ones racing, a car and motorcycle were racing before. Guess what, tonight no car nor motorcycle going by here 100 mph. I bet the poor guy on the cycle is really tore up and could be lucky to live.
It still gives me the creeps that grandson and I just missed that.
I used the bathtub polishing Wax on 2 sides of the shower stall, really makes it look nice. But like paste wax on a car, hard to get off. Wish I had my buffer up here. Tomorrow I will do the side with the faucet and the bottom. It says put it on a dry tub bottom or sides or it can be slick.
I have a hard time standing in a shower. When I wash my face I have to stand in the corner and lean up against the wall so I won't fall. I am very unstable. But it's the same if I close my eyes anywhere standing up.. I've had balance problems for years and years. It's very aggravating believe me.
DIL, DD, and I are going downtown tomorrow for lunch and then to a seafood shop on the wharf. I want to get ingredients for gumbo. Anxious to see what they have.

I bought from Amazon, Bathtub Polishing Wax. I did the bathroom sink and it looks great. I did a section of the tub and it looks really good too, we are talking an old green bathtub so you know its old. I want to do the shower first to make sure I have enough.
Son gave me an update about the wreck. He said the scanner last night asked people not to take and post pictures to Facebook. He said that generally means a death or deaths. It was 2 cars hitting head on and a motorcycle, one was life flighted. Looked like a white sheet on the ground. I'm betting it was the ones racing out here, sounded like a cycle or two and a car. And I have heard nothing today, we will see after tonight. What freaks me out is grandson and I had just came through there not long before it happened and buses were still running. They also ran into the light pole, worked on it last night till 10 or after from 4.

I want a cup of McD's coffee, the drive isn't far, but hate to do it. I'm lazy today. DD and I are both cold so turned the furnace back up to 74, hate to as the day will likely heat up. It's 66 out now and she took a hot bath and put on her heavy jams, so she is good now. It was at least 48 last night.
I slept on the couch again, feels better than the bed actually. I miss my kitties, and my hubs. I asked him if he was sealing anything to stop the mice, uh no. Guess we will have to do it together.
He said today its raining down home, its beautiful here today.
I keep sitting here and falling asleep. What a waste of a beautiful day. DD and I are going for a drive soon. Going to go look at another place. It says 20 minutes away, but I bet it is further than that. Hubs and I are not really wanting a modular. He said they are ok, but he doesn't like the wiring. He said like this one they only use 10 gauge and he prefers 12. And just other things he isn't happy with. I just don't want to live out in a secluded place as I age. But finding any kind of a garage around here is very difficult. He doesn't want anything like he has at home but he does want one where he can tinker around. I'm sure he will help the kids fix stuff on their house if he is able.

I have this cough, had it before I left. It's productive, as they say and I can hear it in my lungs at night. I have been plagued with this the last year. The doxycycline got rid of it for awhile but then its back again. I have thought about going to the ER see if I can get a shot and antibiotics for it again to get rid of it. But hate to go sit in those places. It worries me that it won't go away and stay away.

My hubs had one cut off his arm, they said it was way deeper than they thought, it was malignant. They got it all and he has never had anymore issues. It was from him being in the sun so much, especially the 15 years he worked in hot countries. He did have to get religious about putting sunscreen on his ears because they were starting to look funny. But that took care of them.
I was baptized Catholic as a baby, then later as non-denominational, then I never followed through. DD was as non-den. But apparently we do well as sinners. And like I said the last few years as done me in. These people aren't Christians they are cult members.

I don't cook very well up here. I had shredded wheat and milk, then a blueberry fig bar. After that a thin pork chop.
DD wanted some beef ramen soup, I asked her if she wanted something else, she said no. Not exactly haute cuisine.
I want another pork chop but nope. I will eat a sweetie orange if I want something else, need to buy more of those. If DD wants anything else will make her a sandwich.
I just gnawed the bone, I like pork chops!!

When I was working I was told to smile as I looked mad?? As an accountant most of the time I worked alone, the majority of the time. Plus I dealt with people over the phone, rarely had face to face with anyone, so why did this matter? But I was told more than once.
Also I was told I needed to motivate other employees, say what? I told them I felt people were internally motivated or not, likely wasn't much I could do to make them motivated. My job was numbers, reports, billings, and dealing with construction people in the field. What BS and they would keep on about the smiling. Worked another place and no one ever said a thing about it.
So nice to be in retirement.

The last 3 days we have had some cars and motorcycles driving like crazy out here. I think it may be the same bunch. Never heard that before, its generally quite here.
So about 4 this afternoon just down the street a real wreck, its only a block or so away but I didn't hear anything. DIL came in and said what happened, I looked out and there was smoke. She said there was a big fire. I guess son looked it up a car hit a light pole and something caught on fire, car, electric or what? Since the road is still closed at 7 I'm guessing its a fatality or fatalities down there. We came in and looked like someone on the ground. I'm beating its some of the idiots driving like that. I had told hubs and son that someone was going to get killed the way they were driving the last 3 evenings. Last night I almost called the police to report it. My worry was some old person was going to get hit coming out of this over 55 community. I mean they were driving crazy fast. The school is maybe a half mile down the road and buses all over at that time as I had just come home from picking up little guy. I'm betting that was one of them. It was bound to happen, you can't drive like that in high density neighborhoods like this. Normally its pretty quiet out here.

I gave up on churches long ago, for some of the reasons others have said. And the nonacceptance of DD too. Then after trump came on the scene and all these so called Christians went Gaga over him, I was done. They sure don't understand the Bible or the teachings of they follow that piece of whatever. So done, I will just try to live a good life and hope for the best.

i'm pretty happy overall, just have to be careful, traveling back and forth is expensive, actually cost more to drive most times than to fly. But flying sure wears me out. The walking through the terminals, I'm going to have to go to a wheel chair too I'm pretty sure. I hate that but don't want to hurt for a day or two afterwards. I'm also going to start wearing my back support belt, it helps. I worry at some point my back issue will be to bad. The spongy part between the disks is drying out and at some point that is either going to pinch something or the pain will get to be too much I fear. Same with the feet. I dread facing those days, just trying to stay mobile.

The tenant can move into the mobile we gave him. It's just across the lawn from the house. Everything is still hooked up and he has no furniture per se. Hubs said he has air mattresses and a table and chairs we loaned him. He may have a recliner, just crazy. How could you sleep comfortably like that? That's what I want hubs to do, so we can clean up the house and I can start moving stuff over.
I'm not sure if the man is really sick or not, we have no way of knowing. If his heart is that bad, he should be in a hospital. I would think if anyone hired him and looked back on his history there would be red flags all over the place. And I don't see him being able to pay rent. Since we thought he was moving this month we only asked him to pay the water bill, and he hasn't done that yet.
Like hubs said he needs to apply for disability and low income housing in town, they have quite a bit over there.
We are maintaining 3 places right now and while, yes, we have money, we can't keep doing this. And paying storage on top of that, ouch. Plus we don't know how well hubs is going to do.
I have found 2 places up here that would work. One is 20 minutes away, is a modular, but been redone and is very nice. On half an acre with a 1300 sq ft garage all finished inside, even drywalled. Another I'm not sure how far, similar but I don't like the inside of it, but it could work. Both have been on the market over 60 days, those properties, apparently, don't sell fast here. Not people like hubs wanting them, but we are stuck. That's the only 2 I have seen that would work in the year or two I have been looking. I'm not thrilled with either one but they are ok, if it makes him happy. But we can't do anything. We may do like hubs said for the time being keep it under 180 days and go back and forth for now. But I'm afraid I will get to the point I can't move stuff. I have slept on the couch the last 2 nights and my back and hips feel better plus my head is propped up and the breathing better, not coughing all night. Didn't sleep that long and still feel more rested. Our old temperapedics here have bad remotes that quit and I can't find new ones, I have tried. But its over 20 years old. We would have to change out the motors I think to fix it, too much money so can't change the positions on them.
I have the house vacced, d/w loaded, clothes washing and things picked up. So I'm ready to go out and do some weed wacking with my little cutters. When I get grandson this afternoon, he and I will run to Home Depot and see about my dirt and either seeds or flowers for the one little area. Not doing anymore than that.
Hubs and I will discuss things when I get home, and we have so much to do to get ready it will take months anyway, so there is that. But money keeps going out, more than is coming in, not good. I'm trying to curtail frivolous spending, but I still spend money and everything you buy seems like they have doubled in price. I started to get 2 items from Lands End the other day and backed out. They have these big sales and no matter how quick I am something changes, like the free shipping goes away or you didn't order in time. You can't get the transaction to go through as "you" are having a browser issue or something. The last 4 times I have started to get something they have done that. well, they have lost 4 sales as I'm not playing those games and paying more than I intended. probably don't need the items anyway so thanks. I'mgoing to make me some PJ's up here and likely a pair of shorts and tops, I have fabric in the closet.

I slept pretty good last night and did ok today, slept on the couch. I'm going to again tonight and see how I do. Right now my feet are really feeling numb from neuropathy, the hips, and lower back are hurting too. All 3 tonight so will see how I do.
Was good today, not good tonight. I don't like getting old and its not going to get better.
Night all

Just saw Citibank has my credit score at 836, hubs has to be the same as we are both on everything. Wow, never had it that high before.
It's pretty cold up here at night to 59 already. Only 60 tomorrow, but higher after that and a nice week.
DD wouldn't eat anything earlier, I had a thin pork chop and 2 ears of corn. One was older, the other good fresh and very tasty. I told her I will fix her something before I go to bed if she wants it. I don't think she has eaten enough today.
I plan on doing some trimming tomorrow. Going to sprinkle a few packages of flower seeds in between the patio slab and fence, its a thin area, but I'm thinking might grow there. Or if I can find some inexpensive plants, may plant them there. I also need to fertilize my shrubs so they will bloom pretty also. If I lived up here full time, I would have the place covered with flowers and hanging baskets, lots of hooks here for them.
I asked the park manager and found a handyman. He is working for a lady now painting. Going to see if he will fix my dryer vent and power wash my concrete. That will make everything look clean here. If he doesn't charge to much may have him paint the section of fence too, though I can do that. I want to paint the patio, son and hubs says no, but I have done it before and with the right paint it stays on pretty good. It just makes it all stay clean easier. Will see.
About bath time, want to get my jams on and kick back.

Oh boy, one last renter to get rid of. We need that house to store stuff we are keeping, so we can put our house up for sale. When I get home, I'm going to continue, packing and selling, storing, or giving. And hubs needs the garage over there.
Ok, here we go again. This guy last year supposedly had cancer and was not going to treat it so wasn't going to live. And yes, he didn't look all that good. He always has some health issues. Was supposed to get rotator cuff surgery 3 or so different times. He is always out on workmen's comp for one thing or another I bet he has had 10 jobs, but yes, he always paid his rent.
Well now he is supposed to have had a heart attack, then got better and then had another one while out. He tells hubs they want to do open heart surgery but he wanted to go nearer home, makes sense. Then today hubs is over there working and now he is saying he had 7 scripts and his insurance wouldn't pay for any of them. I told hubs you know there has to be more going on here. You don't end up working one day and 2 days later no insurance. Like hubs said if you are sick like that while out with one of their trucks they can't legally just cut you off 2 days later. I'm wondering if he was fired. Besides as hubs said if he really had that issue I doubt he will be able to be a truck driver again, he likely needs to apply for disability. I think he has been trying to get on it all along, his brother is. This guy is 54 or so, the same age as our son, I thought he was about 60 or older. He doesn't drink or smoke so maybe he is sick, but we are stuck. He knows we want him out the middle of June and now says he can't. He supposedly now has enough money to move the mobile, but if he is really sick, I can see the issue. But here we are, waiting for him to leave to be able to put our house up for sale. We got rid of one freeloader, now its possible we have another, who knows. And his young daughter lives with him now, so we will have to evict both of them, I told hubs I am so glad to be out of all the other rentals. We never had issues like this till we came up here and I am getting really irritated. If he is sick, I feel bad, but to a limit, its impacting our life and we don't need that. I just want this over with, to be able to move. To get our money out and be able to buy another house if that is what we want to do.
Now next week we find out about hubs on the 17th. I'm a little stressed right now, not big time yet, but getting there.
I sure hope we don't have to evict this guy, if he doesn't have insurance, how in the world will he get a surgery like that?

Was another lovely day today. Little guy and I went to the grocery, DD didn't want to go so I didn't force her. Her stomach was kind of bothering her. I brought her home a Subway. She was pretty happy this afternoon and said she felt better. Grandson and I ate at Subway. I saw 2 kids and told grandson look, I think they are twins. He said no grandma they are doppelgangers. So I just look at him, doppelgangers, ok maybe.
His mom has him read a chapter in a library book each night, not many pages. So he is reading it, he goes so fast I can't believe he is reading it all, he slowed down a bit and he is. But I told him, he needs to go a bit slower, reading for fun is one thing, if he is reading to digest the material he could miss something. But then he seems to get it all. He said his mom says he eats the words.
I need to find something for us to do tomorrow, too much sitting around today. We are supposed to go to son's for dinner tomorrow evening. And I helped grandson get a small potted rose bush for his mom. It's white with the petals edged in a soft pink. It's one of the miniature roses. She likes thing like that.
I sure hope he ends up smart as MPL's son. But that specialty he is in is directly military applications. I'm not sure what else it would be.
I mowed the part around the end of the modular facing the road this evening. I may do the other end Monday, I have trimming and raking to do. Just in that small space I had 3 bags of grass. It's really thick in the spring, in the summer just dries out unless you water a ton. I can't do much pushing that mower and trimming. My feet are definitely not used to that. I need to fertilize the shrubs and going to plant some flowers down the small space between the patio edge and fence. Hope they come up while I am here. If I was her all the time I would have gorgeous plants. You should see the colors. I don't know what they are but the neighbors have orange, vivid pink, peach colored shrubs. And one has a huge bush that kind of looks like a lilace but bigger flowers and it is solid with a fushia colored flowers. It is gorgeous in here right now. Mine is totally dull.

I have little guy for the weekend. Got him to go to bed at 11:30, he wanted to see the northern lights so bad, I did too. We drove down to the lake to see if we could see any. The sky was clear and all looked good but nothing. He wanted to try at 12:30 and 1:30, I said are you kidding, no, not happening. His mom said they fight about him going to bed. I told him we are not doing that. Either he puts the computer down and goes to bed willingly or we will have problems. I am very firm and he believes me. I love him bunches, but he will mind me, I'm not having it otherwise. I think he fell asleep when he hit the pillow.
Son and DIL came down for dinner. He told me he was so glad he didn't have to come home and cook. I don't get that at all, I don't say anything, but I think he cooks a lot. He doesn't mind when he is home, but to fly in and have to do that. He said he had to fly 3 different places this week and he looked exhausted, I could see it around his eyes. And he said he had a lot to do tomorrow night to prep for next week. I stay out of it, but I can still think what I want. I just would never do that to hubs, to me its just respecting each other.
We have a stable close by and I'm trying to get little guy to just try riding a horse. I bet they have some that are gentle for kids, but he doesn't seem real interested. When I was little and even as an adult, I always wanted a horse. I asked my dad, too much money, and hubs too much money so never got one. I always loved them. Can't imagine a young kid not being interested, oh well.
It's past time for me to go to bed, I'm tired, but found a couple of shows that were silly but funny.
I need to meet the bus Monday evening as DIL is getting her nails done, I will be there.
I trimmed around some areas with my little trimmers I got, they do a nice job but they didn't stay charged all that long. They were pretty cheap so not surprised. I have a good one at home, so didn't want to buy another more expensive ones. I have an area I want to mow again as it needs to be lower. I will charge and use this one. I can't get close to things with the weedeater I have here or not close enough.
Well that's it for the evening, I see another good show but need to go to bed.

I need to get someone to look at the ductwork for the dryer vent. Would this be a plumber? I've never had to hire anyone to do anything like that before, so not sure where to go.
I baked the lasagna last night, just made my pineapple upside down cake. Next is salad, and then will bake bread sticks if they want them, but maybe enough pasta to skip those.
Son is flying in this afternoon and he texted back and said looks like the president is coming in about 5 and son's plane is supposed be in about 2, so maybe will miss it. But I bet its still a traffic mess, they said there is a game here and some roads blocked off, looks like when traffic is bad they would change some schedules.
It's a beautiful day here, says 85 out. I don't have the AC on, my thermometer says 79 in here, I have a small fan on and its quite comfortable. I got my little clippers and will top off the charge and see what I can do with them.
We found a seafood market on the docks by downtown Olympia, going to go up there next week and get fresh seafood and make us some gumbo, DIL really likes it as do I. It's only about 5 miles from here. That's why housing prices are so high here, but I love it in this location. I can walk down to the lake and sit dockside and fish, really pretty place. And its nice and quiet out here and very very clean in this park. Besides where would we stay that water, sewer, and trash is included in the rent?

MPL, is he an engineer? Civil? If so he might try some companies like Exxon, KBR, or some of those. They are starting a big project again in Angola. Hubs was asked if he was interested, but he told them he was getting to old and had some health issues. If not for the health issues I could have seen him going.
I bet he would like something like that and the pay is very good. They do hire young guys for some of it, and experienced too. But companies like that always have something going on.

I understand the frustration with all this, seems like I have spent the last 20 years first dealing with mom then MIL. I had all the paperwork and everything for mom. Hubs finally said after a year of me trying to care for her and losing my job assisted living. It ate up her money, but so what. I think I'm still in PTSD dealing with them both. Thank God I didn't have to deal with his dad. But hubs was very good, since we didn't care for mom in our home, he knew we could not deal with his mom. So we did cooperate. But he went to see her a couple times a week and dealt with her meds, so we did split some. But we couldn't take a trip or anything as soon as we left either meds were needed or something came up with her.
But my whole life has been spent with DD and I think I'm breaking down. I don't want DIL and son to personally care for me, just finance later for us I think. That will be a load with his job and his wife can't help. He and I help her!
Drama, you can get out of jury duty, tell them you have a chronic illness in the family and no way for minors care and can't afford, hell, lay it on if you have to. I did get out of it for DD, they didn't persist. But hubs doesn't mind serving on juries, so he made up for me. He is a good jurist, logical and calm.
And my MIL absolutely would not have someone in her house to help her, she said she did not need it, so that is why she ended up in assisted living, she could have stayed there way longer if she would have agreed. Good luck to you, I feel for all of you. And I'm getting there, please give me the sense and hubs to not be a burden and aggravation to our only family, there is 3 of us, sad.

Yes, a lot of good paying jobs in defense. I understand how he feels but man has to eat. And you need to go where the money is early in your career. He has people who know all this. I started out with no knowledge of anything and didn't do so well. But son has, and hopefully, little guy can do even better. hopefully.
I was telling DIL I have been on this one forum so long I'm watching the kids grow up and even graduate from college, man do I feel old.
But MPL you are raising 2 fine boys, or I should say have raised one with another coming up. Kudos for you. You are a good mom.

As usual I am tired, must be something wrong causing that, but what? Blood work is excellent, blood pressure, everything plus weight. Yet I feel beat up physically half the time. I hurt in so many places and its most of the time, no easy answers for that.
The maintenance man finished mowing and edging the yard here but I want to trim it better. I don't have to mow as much of it as I did. Hubs said just do enough to keep the grass from blowing on the modular. But I noticed he now has a grass catcher so that is good.
I would like to have the patio, carport, and sidewalks power washed. We have one down home but doesn't help here. I'm going to see if I can hire someone to do it. Hubs doesn't want me to paint the concrete but I think it just looks so neat and clean after painting. Hubs says it chips off and looks bad, but I have painted before and it looks fine. Need to get it clean first to see if I can paint.
I baked my lasagna, I just had to taste it, so cut a small corner out and is it good. It will be better tomorrow I think. Going to have it, salad, bread sticks, and a pineapple upside down cake with it. Son will be over and little guy, Dil may go to her sisters and celebrate, I think, the Russian end of WWII. They still actively celebrate those things more than us. But the main reason is that country lost over 14 million people. It was way more than we did and our loss was bad enough. Grandson can stay the night, she knows I don't mind.
Been quite a few helicopters fly over this evening, must be something going on at JBLM.
Son was in Reno, than Las Vegas, not sure where he is going tomorrow, may just be flying home, not sure. He said he is going to be traveling for weeks this summer. So while I'm here going to try and fix him a good dinner on Friday nights when he gets home.
I just wish my body would quit hurting. I'm sure its old age related issues, but doesn't make it hurt any less. This gets old and makes me tired.

We went to get the ingredients for my lasagna I'm making tomorrow. DD wanted Sonic so we each had a breakfast burrito, it was really good.
I like Haggens, their meat and fish is so good, but they are expensive. I did ok as I bought the store brands of items on some things. And other items I won't buy the like sodas, can get cheaper at Walmart. Still grocery prices here are not that much higher than home where wages are much less.
Hubs is just wanting to continue like we are. Except come up for longer periods of time and not move. That may change when we get his report on the 17th. I understand him not wanting to move.
Gotta go little guy is here.
