I don't remember having to wipe butts once potty trained. Yeah that. Since potty trained, it's been a handful of times I need to check.

With C we made him start wiping himself at 6, or honestly we'd probably still be doing it for him. E almost never asks for help. We've never had underwear issues so I'm assuming things are going okay.

Tbat was so long ago I don't remember if I had to after they were potty trained. Either that or I've chosen to block it out.

I had to wipe both my boys for years after they were potty trained, I don't remember when I quit with older, but I know I haven't bothered with younger for a year or so (he just turned 7). Occasionally there are stains in his underwear, but whatever.

Sertraline users: does anyone know if painful acne is a side effect? Suddenly, a month later, my chin is sprouting and it's kind of painful. That is the only new thing I've been taking, well, that and exercise. This week I have been frustrated with someone at work but I haven't killed him yet. Maybe a combo of the sertraline and stress?

No. I have a horrible acne problem but it's actually gotten better since I started Zoloft. I don't think the med had anything to do with it, though. I started using different skincare products that really helped. A glycolic acid lotion and a different moisturizer really cleared my skin up.

I think my doctor mentioned that kind of acne low on the face is due to hormones. To the extent that Sertraline can effect hormones, I guess it's possible. I only took it for a few months, and didn't notice that. Sam, just out of curiosity, what kind of moisturizer don't you use? ETA: Fixed something. I am sooo sick of the damned autocorrect Nazi residing in my new phone.

Acne on the jawline and chin is usually hormonal - especially cystic acne, the big hurty kind. Peru-menopause or menopause? I was having an awful time over the last year when i stopped breastfeeding my youngest and my hormones went INSANE. Acne like my teenage years, it was awful. Luckily it evened out and now i just get a couple around my period. Justme recommended a prescription med on one of the skin care threads.

I used to use that and I liked it. My dermatologist had me try Cetaphil oil control stuff, which I like too, but don't use much because I feel like I'm putting way too much crap on my skin altogether.

The symptoms on WebMD are useless because those are regular every day issues. Ugh. My sister turns 50 this year. Guess I'll ask her when she went through it. Thanks.

J is having a hard time with me leaving every day The past two days have been really hard to get out the door in the morning. He keeps standing there, crying, saying "Red means STOP! Stay right here! I need you to play with me!" Poor little guy. In 6 days we get to go on a plane to NM so I hope that he enjoys all the mama time then I really can't wait for him to fly. He is going to be SO excited!!!

My skin has always sucked. Oh well. I think I have pretty decent hair. I'll just put makeup over the stuff on my face.

Whew, Friday morning FB fight with my racist aunt (you won't get the whole story from my feed, but lord this woman is something else). I can't wait to see how pissed DH is tonight because I am supposed to be "nice". Ehh. Fuck that.

I am curious about how you all are doing and I'd like to see some kid/animal pics, but you reminded me that I'm continuing to do the right thing by taking an extended FB hiatus.

Hahaha, yep. I did delete the screen caps of her comments, but that's as far as I will moderate it. She deserves the heat she's getting.

I do have a zit on a check bone that comes back every couple of months, hangs around for 2-3 weeks and goes away for another couple of months. I actually am calmer this time round on it, which is why I think I may be on it forever. My yelling at home is down by probably 75%.

I could, but that's what she wants me to do. She tried hard to bait me into being mean but I just responded with sarcastically nice comments She wants to be the victim here. And I won't let her She's getting a lot of heat for her pretty racist/plain ignorant comments and she deserves it. A couple of my YM friends jumped on her pretty damn quick, lol!! Detracted from the overall point I was trying to make, but ended up really making it for me anyway.

If one of my family members were acting like trash to me and other people I know/care about, I'd probably lay into them really hard one time and then block them.

My friend's DH is pretty nice in person, but some of the stuff he puts on FB just makes me SMH. A picture of the statue of liberty not wanting to be next to be torn down. Like, WTF? My FB policy is to ignore most everything like that.

My FB policy with family is I don't post a lot of politics myself, but if they do and I vehemently disagree with them, I put them on ignore. I don't block them or unfriend them.
With people I know in real life, same policy. For truly internet only friends, I have no problem blocking them.
I did get in to it with my cousin about Meals on Wheels. My parents got them when my mom was still living and my dad still does. Supposedly there may be an issue with funding. I didn't see it as being controversial when I made a post about saving Meals on Wheels. My cousin responded that the service is not needed. I asked her how the elderly were to be fed who lived on their own. She said family or churches. Dad's church closed suddenly last summer. He was getting weekend meals from them. They took the program to another church and he is still receiving weekend meals from them. My sister and I are already doing a lot of care giving for dad and neither of us are going to take that much food to him. I don't cook and my sister doesn't as much as she used to because all of her kids have moved from home. She also works.
I had to remind her that she expected my mom to care for her mom (mom's sister) when her mom had surgery and got angry when mom said she wasn't able. She forgets that when her dad died when she was a kid, her mom got food from whatever program it was then because her mom had no job skills. They had no insurance coverage while her dad had cancer so the state treated him. Think her family got a lot of services from the government.

I like to post stuff because of the conversation that ensues. I know what I am asking for when I do it. And for the majority of my friends and acquaintances, people play nicely. Those who don't get asked to take it somewhere else. If someone else posts a topic publicly on their page, I assume they also wish to engage and I will if I have time or interest. I purposefully keep people in my feed with opposing views so that I don't close off my bubble too much.
Personal attacks are a completely different thing. I don't go to others and start shit, and if they do it with me they get blocked. I don't care who they are.

I've been feeling a lot better since I've been on it and well, since I stopped drinking. That helped, although right now I could really lose myself in a vat of wine. I just realized that my failed home waxing attempt could be a cause of the zits. Thought I'd try it and failed miserably. Shit would NOT come off my face and the oil probably clogged it up. I suck at beauty.
