haha, happy to oblige. I finally remembered the cup-o-coins from work, and just counted - I added $11.59 to my collection. it's funny, a coworker and I will pick coins out for the vending machines (he'll give me bills for it, I'll just pick) which is mostly the quarters. that little 8oz cup had two rolls of dimes in it! I didn't add all of it to the bottle, because I dumped the bottle out and rolled what I could out of it all. I'm not cashing any rolls in until the end of the year, but it's only a 500ml bottle. I'll probably roll it when it starts to bottleneck, or the next time I bring home a cup from work.

I added 20.00 in quarters, so (I think) 110.12 and add savings from coupons and rebates, 92.00 for 2 weeks total is 202.12.
I doubt there will be anything this week because I went nuts at the grocery store.

I ended up with $6.00 in coupon money to toss into my savings.
I was just thinking how much I can do with $6.00. I can: make over2 dozen Mickey waffles, or 10 batches of noodles, make a hefty pot of soup, 9 loaves of homemade bread dough (or more) The possibilities are too many to count:)

pepperdo, would you be willing to post your recipe for the homemade bread dough in the recipe section?

I found a bunch of pennies in one of Paul's old work coats this weekend. No wonder he'd say the coat was so heavy:) Hed look like an exhausted kid coming home from school with his jacket off his shoulders and both his arms still in the sleeves:)

The coin counter at the grocery store had 45 cents in it today. Jackpot.

Just counted my spare change jar over the weekend and I have $96 in it! (There were several bills I had hidden there.) I'll continue to add to it and we will use in this summer when we take a 3 day mini-vacation. We haven't had one in years. If I continue to hide $$ from myself, maybe that will pay for our meals.

202.12 from before today, then add 3.20 from cans that I don't buy and 32.00 lwft from last week's groceries and such. So, 237.32 so far.
