Later, what are you having lasered? I've been lasered literally from nose to toes, and it hurts like an SOB. But it's so worth it.
DH and I went to a boat show today, then we took the kids to a park nearby the show, and then to lunch. I've done 3 loads of laundry, cooked dinner, and gone grocery shopping.

TD was there too? <<jealous>> PM me the pictures. There is no way I could have my nose done. I would sneeze the entire time. Not that my nose needs it. I hate pain so I'll continue to shave as long as I am able. But I do admire you ladies who can handle that procedure - and waxing.

The underarms hurt more than the bikini area too. I couldn't wear deodorant for a few days after the first treatment.

It's really not that bad. The only time I couldn't take the pain was the bikini wax I got about a week before I had DD. My mom said she couldn't understand why I was bothering. My thought was that was one of the few times in my life when I'll have an actual audience down there, so I should be well-groomed. I guess you get super sensitive the closer you get to delivery. It hurt so bad. My poor waxer thought she was going to send me into labor.

I wake up same time every day but on Saturdays I get up just long enough to get sleepy again then go back to bed for a nap before showering.
Tried a battery operated toothbrush this morning-didnt like it, it flung all the toothpaste off the brush so I didnt have that minty clean feeling afterwards.
Shaved the legs and scrubbed the tub-one of these days I am going to slip and fall. (I am interested in your laser hair removal-detail the process for me? I am tired of my goat hairs on my chin. How long does it last before you have to do it again?)
Filled the car up with gas-sticker shock! Drove to outlet mall, reluctantly using airconditioning. Bought jars of lemon and key lime curd at Harry & David-for those prices it better be good.
Ambitious supper-chicken kiev, parmesan & olive oil, on egg noodles. Same thing happens every time-by the time I have made the meal, made a mess of the kitchen, and created lots of dirty dishes, the meal doesnt taste good/special to me. Put the rest in the fridge-maybe tomorrow it will taste better.
Watched a movie-remember Julie and Julia? I liked the Julie movie but felt cheated by the Julia movie-wanted more Julie less Julia. So tonight I watched Bedrooms. Didnt care for it-I would have enjoyed a full movie with Barry Bostwick and ?Dee Wallace Stone? instead of 4 mini movies of inequal quality.

Back from spending. After the Apple store I went and got a PS3 with the Move. Someone slap some frugality sense into me! The PS3 is being set up now on the new 51" flat screen. I am spending like there is no tomorrow. What's wrong with me?!! I feel the same way....but I also realize I haven't spent much past groceries and gas in months. hopefully you can average it all out too. in the past month, I've purchased a case+ of wine at a wine tasting event (~$200), a new purse ($100), U2 tickets ($275 for 3), Sox tickets ($400 for 4x3 games), a last-minute cheaper than half-price concert cruise ($400), and tickets to various smaller music shows ($20ish apiece). damn....that hurts to look at. at least I know I'm getting cash back on the tickets from friends as we go to the events, that I would have bought most of the wine anyway and I got a discount from the event, and that the purse will last me a long time (chiver Coach) fwiw, I'm rather enjoying the glass of Pinot Gris that I just poured, from that case+. Elk Cove Vineyards, 2009. enjoy that PS3.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. They were laughing at me at work yesterday when I said I hate cooking because I never feel like eating once I'm done. I always lose my appetite through the cooking and cleaning up process. That's why the crockpot is so great for me. I do the prep in the morning, so it's ready to eat at the end of the day, and I don't lose my appetite.

the bikini area hurt less than the legs. Swamp, how many sessions did you need before the hair removal was permanent? I had one session on my underarms, and I remember the lady who performed the procedure said that since I am blond it would take more time than people with darker hair. But I am very interested. It would awesome to not have to shave ever again!

Next time I go I'm taking a few extra strength tylenol first. It feels like someone keeps stabbing you with a needle. I was told I need 3 sessions, 4 weeks apart. I agree it will be worth it if it works. I am dark haired so apparently it should work great for me. Up at 4 this morning to make it to the airport on time, leaving lots of time for delays. No delays so a couple of hours to waste in the airport. Unfortunately with a low battery

It would awesome to not have to shave ever again! I've had my face done 4 times, bikini, underarm, and legs 3 times. I very rarely have to pluck my chin/shavemy legs/pits/bikini area, probably once every 3 months now at the most, and it's just touch ups. It's completely permanent. i used to get a 5 o'clock shadow on my legs and in my armpits. I have black hair and pale skin (Irish looking), so the process worked very well on me. i'm told it doesn'twork very well on dark skinned people, or on blondes.

I would love to never have to shave again - or at least be able to go for a few weeks/months before I have to shave again. I'll definitely look into laser removal formthe future.

Um. Lemmesee. I'm gonna do nothing much of anything.
Some genius decided that there should be an elementary school art show today...10 miles from home and the day before Easter. I guess I have to go and make appropriate Gramma sounds over DGD's art work that's going to be displayed.
Maybe we're going out for supper if DSIL gets home from a short road trip before 5.
And going to bed early so that EB can leave me a basket with Peeps in it. If no Peeps, I'm gonna quit believing in Mr. EB.

I'm out of sugar and almost out of coffee. There's a few more things that can wait til next week, but definitely not the coffee. So I'm going to have to suck it up and go to the grocery store on a Saturday - which I normally would avoid at all costs. The same...I hate the grocery store...then dying eggs for the grandbaby for tomorrow.

Woke up this morning to a tremendous thunderstorm rolling through. 3 hours later, the rain is still coming down in buckets. We had tornado warnings last night, but nothing from this line of storms.
I've got a list of errands to run today as long as my arm, which means I need to get my ass in gear. However, it's only 8:30 and I still haven't finished my first cup of coffee. NOTHING gets done before I get my daily requirement of caffeine.
