Right now, I'm on my third load of laundry. I just finished stripping all the linens off the bed and exchanging them for lighter ones. Moving the mattress was a little rough, but my hip seems to be behaving as long as I don't push it too much.
Next, I need to scrub down the bathroom, the kitchen floors and dust and vacuum.
I did all of this the night before I left for TD's, but even with only a couple cats here, they sure made a mess!

I'm out of sugar and almost out of coffee. There's a few more things that can wait til next week, but definitely not the coffee. So I'm going to have to suck it up and go to the grocery store on a Saturday - which I normally would avoid at all costs.

When I got back Tuesday night, my half and half had gone bad. I did have coffee though.
I got up 15 min early in order to hit Starbucks before going into work, and made sure that I hit the grocery store on the way home!

Going to the Apple store and get some tutoring on using my IPad. It came on Monday and I'm very happy. Now I just need help in learning how to download tv shows, movies and other stuff. I already have PB saved in bookmarks. The chores can wait.

I have the coming week off. Today I'm cleaning to get it out of the way. I'm kinda irritated that the temps are mild but it's been raining off and on so I can't hang sheets out or do any yard work, but I guess that keeps me from avoiding interior cleaning. Now I just need to get off the computer and get to work! (so far I've only managed one and a half loads of laundry, a trip to the post office and coffee drinking). Gotta go back to the post office, I think my Zumba DVD set has arrived (card in my box) but the place wasn't open yet. Tonight I have a scavenger hunt for the local Relay for Life group. They include alcohol in all the fundraisers they hold (the scav hunt start and end point is the local tavern) no surprise they're the highest grossing R4L team in a a 3 county radius. Last year I was the DD for our sh team, happily it's someone else's turn. This year the hunt has gone digital, apparently people haven't been very good about returning their "finds"!

Loaded and ran the dishwasher. Changed bedding. Started a load of laundry. Put away some crap I bought during the week that was sitting on the kitchen island. Filed my taxes (they were done, just needed to e-file....unfortunately, my bank account is 1K lighter now ) Going to watch my Yankees at 1. Have lots of cleaning to do...I feel like that's all I do all weekend...and never can find the time for any "bigger projects" cuz once I get the regular cleaning done, I'm out of energy and motivation.

QoC, please let me know if the Zumba video is worth buying. I saw that HSN was offering it and I was thinking of getting the videos.

You'll all be home this evening when we stop by in search of strange objects, won't you? We'll be the people wearing shirts that say "F*ck Cancer", so don't go contributing stuff to our opponents, OK? If it's still raining, I'm thinking our team should just roost at my house and photoshop (very obviously) objects on the hunt list into pics of our team members!

I did classes through the winter Empire. But the closest one is 25 minutes away, and I like the idea of being able to do this on my own schedule and not having to travel. The class was fun and it was a good workout, so I'm hoping I'll keep to doing it at least 3-4 times a week and that it will still be enjoyable without the class environment. I'll keep you posted. BTW, at the zumba website they were advertising a new DVD series and last I saw you put your name on a waitlist. I ordered the set (that I guess is now the old version) off of Amazon (it was still full price )

So I guess I'm not buying. I'm so lazy. well....Right! I mean for exercising purpose. unless what will happen is you make your purchase and play the video with high energy as background noise while you play / get to know your I-Pad!

So far I've stripped the beds, dried a load a laundry from last night, started another load of laundry, dusted the LR furniture, cleaned the downstairs bathroom and did dishes. Next is grocery shopping, shoe shopping and tonight we're going out to dinner with the family to celebrate my B-Day.

Haircut? Laundry? Just do it already! I wish I could sleep in, but after all the years of getting up early for work, I just can't sleep late anymore.

Yeah, my eyes popped open a mere 45 min after I normally wake up (5:15) during the work week. You have thunk that my brain would at least let me sleep until 7!

I woke up at 7:30, thinking I was going to be late for work! when I realized it was Saturday, I went back to sleep until 10. now, I've got laundry going. I've been to the grocery store for a bagel and milk for coffee, will do full shopping tomorrow morning when I don't sleep in). I'm currently catching up on the boards, and will be reconciling my checkbook against this week's bills. at 1, I'll be flipping back and forth between my Sox and B's while folding the laundry. tonight, I'm heading in to Boston for a charity event.

Happy Birthday, Anne!! There's a big fair/festival/carnival going on around here so I'll be taking DS to that. Don't know how long we'll stay, it's all up to him. I'm also crawling under the car to change the tires (was supposed to get the studs off by April 1st, but I wasn't feeling well and I've been working too much--yeah, excuses, excuses--but I usually change them myself). And then, tonight I've got a bottle of wine calling my name. One glass and I should be nice and lubricated (I rarely drink so I have no alcohol tolerance) and if I post on here I'm sure you'll all see the evidence Other than that, a little laundry and housework.

queen of corona--your scavenger hunt sounds fun, and I think your idea of obvious photoshopping--while getting well lubricated yourself maybe?--is freaking hilarious!

Ran a 5K this morning, then had a manicure, stopped at CVS, did an interview for a freelance food story, came home and showered, and fixed lunch for DH and myself. I will get a short rest in before I leave for a few hours of volunteer work, and stop for some groceries on the way home tonight.

Just got up so the coffee is brewing and I've got a load of laundry on. Did the ironing last night.
