Dude, you are aware that the latest poll has 54% of the voting public wanting Trump out of office, right?
The only thing persuading Trump is doing right now is convincing the public he's not fit to hold office.
Maybe shop around the internets a little more - venture past the drunk uncle dark hat websites you favor and see what some of the Republicans in congress are saying right now. Don't bother with the Dems, I know what you think of them, but check out what Romney and even Sondland, Trumps big donor and fellow real estate tycoon are saying about Trump this evening. Or General McRaven, the former commander of the US special Ops (and clearly not a liberal snowflake). Look at how many GOpers are fleeing the administration - Perry just announced he's out by the end of the year. Like rats abandoning a sinking ship, isn't it?
Going to be difficult to line up and shoot all the Dems and the Never Trumpers if Trumps gets bounced from the Oval Office, isn't it? Dude- did you seriously just ask me to rely on a poll? Not just the poll - step back ten paces, clear your mind of the drunk uncle website bullshit, and tell me with a straight face that Trump is on the cusp of frog marching all the Dems and Never Trumpers in a glorious pre dawn frenzy of executions.
Convince me you're living in reality and not in some parallel universe.

To djAdvocate - maybe. It's always hard to predict these things. I should probably be dead- but here I am. And don't even get me started on Keith Richards- who is the odds on favorite to be the last Rolling Stone standing-- and Mick Jagger- who just had heart surgery is the fucking vegan.
Mick Jaggar should have died years ago, given his lifestyle. then again, his exercise regimen probably does not consist of waving his arms, and he is clearly not obese, so he has that going for him. but he is also one year older than Trump, which puts him at a disadvantage.
not sure who will last longer, but I would not bet on Trump.

Jagger is usually in incredible shape and his lifestyle is just fine. I’m betting his heart rate, cholesterols, body fat, aerobic conditioning are all at the best levels you can imagine for a man of his age.

Indeed. I love the idea of a bunch of self-important, self-styled "leaders" in the sweltering Miami summer heat. Maybe they'll be here for a hurricane?

As usual, the point is missed. Mortality is a guessing game. I'm old enough to remember Adelle Davis diet- and her fate; I'm old enough to remember when Jim Fixx- who started to the jogging craze- died at 52 on a jog. Does it mean Adelle Davis, the "Queen of Optimal Eating" or Jim Fixx were wrong? No. On the whole, they got it right. And if I'm an actuary, I'll bet on the sound diet and regular exercise person every time-- but some of the time, I'll still be wrong.

Don Lemon read off a list of the health department violations that were found at the Doral kitchen.
He said he hoped all the G-7 leaders were listening.
Wouldn't it be funny if they all refused to come...or met at a different location!

Satire from The Borowitz Report Trump Offers Freed ISIS Fighters a Group Rate at Trump Doral ResortBy Andy Borowitz WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—Calling it a “once-in-a-lifetime incredible deal,” Donald Trump on Friday offered recently-escaped ISIS fighters a group rate at the Trump National Doral Miami. “I am giving ISIS a group rate that entitles them to the full run of the golf course, the spa, you name it,” he said. “This is going to make the ISIS people very, very happy.” The fighters can qualify for the group rate by presenting proof of ISIS membership and their recently freed status, Trump said. Shortly after Trump made the offer to ISIS, however, the group’s leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, issued a lukewarm response. “We’ve read some not-so-great things about the Doral on TripAdvisor,” Baghdadi said. “If we wanted to go to a golf resort, we’d pick one that doesn’t have bedbugs.” Complete article here: Trump Offers Freed ISIS Fighters a Group Rate at Trump Doral Resort

Just to liven things up a tad, wouldn't it be hilarious if President Trump was impeached and wasn't even there?

"Mortality is a guessing game" unless you stay at Doral and eat meals coming out of that fetid kitchen.

Value Buy - curious what you personally think about it.
FWIW, I think it's wrong on so many levels.
Quite frankly, I am at a loss. He knows this just throws more gasoline on the fire and continues to do this shit. I am beginning to think he wants to be Impeached and removed from office, and continues to say and do things to make it happen. Either that, or he honestly believes he could stand in the street and shoot someone and get away with it and just pushes the envelope to prove it. Then again since every rich person who is not a Republican that use to stay at his properties before the Presidetial run is bankrupting the company by boycotting his properties and he is trying to save them, which I know is wrong. Having said that, there is no way at this time I will not be voting for Trump in 2020. Just as crazy libs will vote for anyone but Trump, I will not vote for anyone other than Trump.

thanks for responding VB. Do you mind elaborating on what keeps you voting for Trump besides the 'anyone other than Trump'? I'm particularly curious because I'd voted Republican for every election except this last one because Trump just didn't/doesn't stand up to my Christian values.

I do feel the pain in what you stated. Am I happy with him? No. Do I like his tweets? Heck No. Do I like his rallies? No. Christian values is a part of the entire pkg. I will not claim he is even a serious religious person. I do not believe Obama was a truly religious person but the country survived him rather well for the most part. I believe in borders. I believe illegal immigrants are just that. I am tired of only American citizens have to follow laws in this country. We are now second class citizens in our own country. I am a believer in legal immigration. I believe there was a coup attempt from the day after he was elected in November by our government agencies as well as the DNC. On this issue alone Trump should be re-elected to validate the fact our citizens reject coups and if he is not re-elected there will never be an investigation to root out the people involved. He kept the economy going upward, reduced regulations hurting small businesses and helping the economically poor finally land jobs after decades of promises by other politcal leaders. He is trying to develop a level playing field for all countries in exports and exports and stopping America to do it with literally one had ties behind our backside. He promised to try and end our endless wars and this is a work in progress. I have had my fill of former military personnel coming home a mental disaster and committing suicide because they are emotionally destroyed. There are more, but I am not interested in writing a book right now

Trump's Doral Resort has been losing money since 2015 and is becoming rather run down. It's going to need upgrades for the G7 Summit. Guess who is going to pay for that? You, the taxpayers.
Enjoy paying for the upgrades for this grifter and con man's property.

It is getting old. no, I really think he thinks the law doesn't apply to him. it is really the only thing that explains the recent flurry of doubling down.
if he thought the law applied to him, he would have said "ok, whew. I dodged the Mueller bullet, but I had better lay low". instead, what we see is that he basically IMMEDIATELY went on the offensive again, engaging in the exact same conduct, in full view of the public. well, at first, behind closed doors, but since the WB complaint came out, in public.
that is not designed to irritate, imo. if I am missing something here, how do you explain this behavior?

I am a believer in legal immigration. I hear this a lot. what makes you say that (the bold part).
I have been treated very well in my life. i had very few roadblocks to my success, and was never passed over for an "immigrant" (though i was once passed over for a very qualified woman. i question whether she was more qualified than me, but she was a very smart engineer, so i ceased questioning it almost as suddenly as i suspected she was hired for her gender).
is there something in YOUR experience that leads you to this conclusion, or are you just expressing a "prevailing view"?

The problem I see with Trump is that regardless of whether or not you agree what he's doing for America policy-wise, his abhorrent behavior, disregard for and flaunting of the laws and decorum of the office, and continual pushing of the "fine line" means that inevitably a line will have to be drawn somewhere, whether anyone likes it or not. The scary thing is that there appear to be many who don't care if such a line is ever drawn at all, and damn the consequences of giving our Chief Executive a blank check to run roughshod any way he sees fit. But what I wonder if Trump supporters truly consider is that setting this precedent is very likely to invite a series of similar or worse actors after Trump...one of who could inevitably be *gasp* A DEMMYCRAT! Or God forbid a Liberal! Or maybe even...A SOCIALIST! And you wouldn't want that, now would you? As far as I'm concerned, this isn't about party nor policy. It is about one incredibly flawed, highly dishonest, potentially malicious and possibly deranged man holding an office he's not tempered to be in. If he were a Dem or a liberal, I'd be singing the exact same tune.

HUH? Would you care to explain that statement VB? I seem to have been asleep for a long time after the election since I can't remember anything of the kind? Note the fact that many people are not fans of dt is not a "coup attempt", and if the DNC said "we need to make him a one-time president", that is not a coup attemt either (you can ask Moscow Mitch to verify that). That dt had a far smaller inaugural crowd than Obama, was not a "coup attempt", nor were the perfectly legal protest marches held against him. So what are you referring to here? < please, please, please say DNC → then we can get Obama, integrity, and dignity back into the WH >
