I'm not bragging, just stating the fact. I never complain about welfare queens.
Why would I ?Quite appropriate considering the fact that by not paying federal income taxes you qualify as one I know. Makes me wonder the reasoning of why GG even posted that. It didn't make sense. I don't collect any welfare, but... A road I use almost every day was just paved by mostly federal tax dollars, although my federal gas tax, which I only avoid by about 50% still helped pay for it.

it's called an analogy. You were trying to argue you did pay taxes because you paid your local land taxes. That is not part of a federal tax avoidance plan. You justified not paying income tax because it's only "forced compliance," but every other crime is also enforced by forced compliance. You are committing a felony. Neither is murder. (bolded) Apples to oranges. I justify not paying federal income tax because I don't want to. I justify not killing certain people because I want to.

The majority of the US population is cowed by the IRS, and it's self generated perception of what enforced compliance is, and more importantly, what it isn't, and most will not affect a self policy of tax avoidance. They simply follow the rules as dictated. Even as a conservative, I'm too liberal for that. Nope.
I pay my taxes because I consider it part of my responsibility as an American to help support the country that has given me so much opportunity. Not because I'm 'cowed.'
I know several very clever ways to slide some money past Uncle Sam that would most likely never get caught. I would never do that, for the same reason I don't cheat on my spouse or sneak into my neighbor's garage and steal his shit when he leaves his garage door up.
You only have to look at Greece to see where our country would be if everyone was a fucking unethical and unpatriotic as you are.

It doesn't matter what they're called.......you're still a freeloader who is not pulling his own weight, and depending on others to pay for you.

I'm very patriotic, and ethical. Taxes are just too high and they are being used for things I don't believe in. I'm liberal that way. It's always just a little more, year after year. I figure the huge tax amounts I paid before retiring is enough. I paid 100 times the average tax bill for half my life. I'm done. You pay up, and feel good about it. I won't call you stupid for not seeing the light of day.

You know, my older sister worked and paid taxes from the age of 21 until she decided, at age 50, she was done, she had worked enough, she had paid enough taxes, and now it was time for her to start being on the receiving end of things. She quit her job, scammed her way onto disability, got some student loans she never paid off, and milked the system for every benefit and freebie she could find, all the while explaining how she was just 'living off what she'd paid into the system over all those years she worked.
She talked disdainfully of 'welfare queens' - like she was somehow better than they were, because she had paid taxes at one point in her life, and now she was just getting paid back for what she'd paid in.
If she wasn't dead, I'd think you were her.
She thought she was cleverer than average, too, because she was sharp enough to scam the system. Clever little x.

You're saying it wasn't a hoax that she was clever ? I never talk about welfare queens. I don't collect any money either. You seem unhappy about this. Is something bothering you about paying for your sisters well being ? As in she got free money from the government and you didn't ? I was wondering where that came from. I would have to say that I'm happy not paying for your sisters handout.

If you work harder and move into a higher tax bracket, you'll pay even more, as your reward of a job well done.

If those services are there for the taking, I will. You're no better than a woman with 14 kids who doesn't work and relies on the taxpayers to fund her services, like food stamps and free school lunches. You're also no better than an uninsured person who goes to the ER for every ache and pain, avails themselves of the service, and expects the hospital to eat the costs. You are a freeloader.

Let's go back to your shitty defense of why you think it's ok to avoid paying your fair share of taxes and freeloading off the rest of us.
So far you've come up with 'because I haven't gotten caught yet' and 'because I want to' which is the same argument my son gave as a toddler when I caught him sneaking cookies from the cookie jar.
Try harder, little x.

Yes you do. It just is not in the form of cash, but you are receiving services for which you are not paying/contributing Of course, but those services are not called welfare. Who cares what they're called? You still want to get something for nothing, that others pay for. You, however, "don't want to pay".

Perhaps everyone should stop paying their taxes, and then watch as the whole system collapses around them.

I hate that one thin dime of my tax money might go to build Trump's foolish wall, but I'll make every effort to fire any of my political representatives who agree to fund that particular project.
See I get to say 'my political representatives' because I pay my taxes, so they work for me. From now on, you've abdicated any right on this board to complain about our country, because you're not paying into it. You're just a tourist.

please clarify which one.

You wish I was a tourist. I'm a voting citizen who puts plenty of $$ in the right political hands, to achieve what I think is right. I will talk about anything I wish on this board as long as it doesn't go in arrears of the coc. Just like you. I don't expect to pay for the things you listed anymore, and a lot of other things. I've paid more than my share already. You pay that by your own free will, as you claim. You trap yourself in your own limitations, that you set for yourself. I don't feel sorry for you at all. You won't mind me signing this as "poor little x" as you labelled me, will you ? (Lol)

More false dichotomy. There are more than two choices, as shown by the "(as is)" in my statement.
