I use no more than 15% of body weight in the vest. I used to wear a vest that weighted @ 20lbs and was a present from my uncle( Sam)..  But then discovered Gold Bond Body Powder for the itch relief.. |

I work a long shift and I find after my shift with only 4-6 lbs in the the vest my thighs have a slight burn to them...not up to 15% of body weight yet.

Salicyclic acid. I forget which company has a cosmetics line with it in their products. Also, its in Stridex. Best of all, psoriasis shampoo from Walgreens $10 for very large bottle has salicylic acid as its added ingredient.

I've been using salicylic acid for years, it does next to nothing for me. I have to use that in conjunction with benzyl peroxide. To me, what's most important is to dress appropriately for your age and body type, don't load on the make-up for daytime activities, and wear your hair in a style that suits your facial shape and life-style. If you do those things, whether you're a bit overweight, or underweight, or don't have perfect features, or hair, it won't matter. You'll look your best and that will give you the confidence to present yourself well. |
