Now he is talking about tax cuts.
Fuck all those dead people. Give money to my rich friends.
Now, how great the economy is.
Seriously?

Interesting comment I found- Manhattan terror attack (truck) - 8 people dead and 13 injured. Charlottesville rally (car) - 1 person dead and 19 wounded Hamburg stabbing (knife) - 1 person dead and 6 injured London bridge attack (van + multiple knifemen) - 8 people died and 48 injured Orlando shooting - 49 people dead and 58 injured. Las Vegas shooting - 58 people dead and 546 injured. Sandy Hook shooting - 28 people dead and 2 injured. Anyone see a trend?
The shootings have higher counts of people dead and injured, by a significant degree. As horrible as this is, it would take seven attacks like this to get close to the count of dead and injured in Las Vegas.
9/11- 2,977 killed and not one gun used.

That did not take long, did it? Says the first poster to politicize the tragedy Why can't we politicize it? It's a political problem.

Or, we can bury our heads in the sand and keep burying our dead. Your choice.

He didn't have to be here. I wish every single person who participated in or agreed with him being here had to face the families of these dead people. Every single one of them. And then look into their faces and eyes and tell them how it was such a wonderful idea.

Oh please, 30 sec after Las Vegas it was blah, blah gun control. So you all need to get off your high horses about politicizing.

What about the families of the people dead from Columbine, Sandy Hook, Las Vegas, that southern church where a bunch of black congregants were shot (can't remember off the top of my head), the DC sniper, etc? Tell them "your family member was wounded/killed by a US citizen, so that's not so bad?" Death is death. Terrorism is terrorism, and we have plenty of home grown terrorists right here.

Just some facts the Diversity Visa program started in 1990 which was when George Bush Sr was in office which makes this a GOP program if we are going to point fingers.
Second this guy was from Uzbekistan which is not on the travel ban list. Nor is it a middle eastern country. It is a central Asian country that was originally a part of the Soviet Union. The travel ban would have done nothing to stop this guy from coming here.
I work with plenty of people here on the visa program who think it should be modified. We just happen to think it shouldn't based around country of origin or ethnicity. First because bad people can come from all over, including our own backyard and second, most people who come here are not bad people.
Unless you're going to start paying Americans to have more babies we're going to run into a big problem like Japan and China are if we decide we're going to be completely isolated. You're trading one problem for another.
It would also do nothing to solve domestic terrorism which nobody seems to want to talk about. It's easy to point fingers claiming all immigrants are potential terrorists and should be banned from stepping foot here. It's scapegoating pure and simple.
Yet when they are from our own backyard people seem awfully quick to claim it was a "lone wolf". There is nothing we can do about it, we just need to accept it and no attempts to discuss if there may be underlying societal issues at play are to be entertained.

Okay, so why work so hard to migrate foreign terrorists into this country as well? Does the left hate Americans so much that they work so hard to bring in more terrorists to kill them? This terrorist came here in 2010...and they say he was "locally radicalized." A pretty short time frame to become so radicalized, isn't it? So he came here in 2010 loving America but in 6-7 years he changed his mind and now wants to kill everyone? Locally radicalized my ass...he came here purely with the intent of killing Americans from day one!!

Just for a little clarification, Some one named Chuck Shumer introduced that bill! Second this guy was from Uzbekistan which is not on the travel ban list. Nor is it a middle eastern country. It is a central Asian country that was originally a part of the Soviet Union. The travel ban would have done nothing to stop this guy from coming here. I think you want to believe what you wrote because its less scary than acknowledging things happen to people and they snap or direct their pain outward. The Las Vegas killer wasn't planning to kill people for 6 to 7 years that they've discovered. Even the Aurora shooter wasn't plotting theatre deaths for 6 to 7 years.
Most of these folks are plotting for less than a year, perhaps a couple at best.

It remains unknown unless the police are not revealing the motive. But he is proof that most of these things are not planned out years in advance with the shooters just waiting years for a time to execute.

Found an article on MSN. We need to change our culture if we hope to stop men unhappy with their lives from lashing out and hurting others. This guy had similar motivations to the Aurora shooter. www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/finding-a-rootless-life-in-us-sayfullo-saipov-turned-to-radicalism/ar-AAukTGN?li=BBnb7Kz Mr. Saipov drove a semi-truck for a living, logging tens of thousands of miles back and forth across the country, from Denver to Detroit, from Canton, Mass., to Salt Lake City. He moved his wife and children from state to state, always searching for something — friends in Ohio, a new life in Florida, family in New Jersey, where he started driving for Uber six months ago. Nothing ever stuck.
And on Tuesday, Mr. Saipov, now 29, who had spent so many hours on the road by himself, who a former friend said had “monsters inside,” decided to drive one last truck, this one a Home Depot rental, down a crowded bike path on the West Side of Manhattan, the authorities said. Eight people died. But about a year ago, he began plotting an attack, the authorities said, and he eventually started downloading ISIS videos. Two months ago he decided how he would do it, the way he could inflict maximum damage. It was obvious: a truck.

No way of tracking who downloads videos like that? The videos may be in the dark or deep web where tracking IP addresses of users may not not possible. .

Poor, poor guy. He must have suffered so much. I'm sure the families understand why he chose to mow down their family member instead of just offing his own poor mistreated self. Thank Heavens nobody else has problems.
