But, but, but, he's supposed to "Make America Great Again". He said so. (And you wonder why I'm not putting more money in the stock market right now? I'm waiting for that big, fat correction.)

I don't know what ya'll are going on about. The RV we just purchased is sitting in front of our house and I'm eating Avacado Toast. America is totally greater! I keep reading about all the jobs that are being lost lately and wonder where those threads are by you-know-who. Then I realize we aren't to discuss reality here these days. It upsets people. Bigly!!

IT WILL BE THE GREATEST RECESSION EVER!!! WE WILL USE THE BEST WORDS TO DESCRIBE IT!!!
UR: Tell the soldiers, my Lord General to relieve themselves and to strike up the Financial song.
Financiers: Long live Père Ubu our great Financier!
UR: Oh the gallant fellows, I adore them! Oh! I'm afraid, Lord God I'm dead! but no, all the same, I'm all right.
Financiers: Sire Ubu, the Russians are attacking.
UR: Well, what of it, what do you want me to do about it? I didn't tell them to attack. Nevertheless, Financial Gentlemen we will prepare ourselves for battle.
-Alfred Jarry, King Ubu, 1896

Those 1,069 Carrier jobs Trump 'saved' last year in exchange for $7 million in incentives? Union officials have received notice 338 of the 1,069 employees will be laid off July 20 and another 290 of those remaining will be laid off December 22. Those 628 jobs are going to Mexico! But fear not, those being laid off will supposedly be offered jobs somewhere else in the country. That would probably be okay if our country was the size of Monaco. 600 layoffs coming to Carrier plant Trump claimed to save last year

We all knew dj could not stay away!
And yet the nightly news cannot stop talking about how job openings are everywhere and cannot be filled by American workers!

Pres. Trump is at the helm of the U.S.S. Titanic. I told you whoever won this presidency would sorely regret it.

and then there's this: Ford will build Focus in China versus Mexico. Supposedly no American jobs would have been lost either way. But, China? Really? Don't we hate them for taking "our" jobs just as much as we hate Mexico www.nytimes.com/2017/06/20/business/ford-focus-china-production.htmlADDED: Maybe Trump cut some beneficial deal for the Trump Orginazation along with getting cars built in China? Wasn't one of his kids over there cutting deals?

My stocks seem to be doing real well.
Why don't you pull all of your money out, show Trump how angry you are over this economy!
There is an old saying "Put your money where your mouth is"..
Yea,, that will show him.

The MIRACLE is that Trump does not give a flying flip about you the American worker! YOU are but a cog in the machine. YOU are there to work in his and his friends enterprises, and to consume their garbage. Did you buy your Trump steaks, your Trump wine, and watch your Trump TV? Good for Trump! Carrier AC workers? What a bunch of SAPS! Am I right, or am I right? Bigly. Why would this be on Trump? I would say this was on Carrier!

US Dollar hit a 15 month low today! -7.2% this year!!!
ALL HAIL KING UBU!!!!
brought you by the committee to Make America Surreal Again.
note to the board: this is actually really good for me, as a manufacturer and an investor. my exports are now cheaper, which means more customers abroad will buy them. it also means that precious metals will go higher, which is where i have been primarily invested for the last (18) months. were it not for the fact that i think Trump will be disastrous for the US, i would be stoked right now.

within reason, a weak dollar helps our trade deficit. I don't see a way out of where we are without a pretty significant devaluation in the dollar to monetize both governmental debt, personal debt, and pension obligations (devalue the dollar and stop COLAs and the problem fixes itself) that's true. what does a weak dollar HURT? do you know?

HUHHH ?? That must be an unprecedented drop Oh, I didn't see that part while pasting. April was a new record low at 3.6% Then May was another new record low at 3.4% June just tied the same record low of 3.4%
It was an unprecedented drop, but not between May and June.

First link that came up: Best States RankingsWashington - 5 (lowest ranking in any area #25) Arkansas - 48 (highest ranking in any area #29) Why would I EVER envy someone who had to live in Arkansas?
