Ah, that worked. I'm having old lady new technology syndrome.
As a disclaimer, this is the only video I watched, so I don't know if it is the best, or heck even accurate. But it was simplified in a way that I feel like I know slightly more than the average uninformed American.

... I don't even know if I support Trump’s actions, or if I'm mad as he'll about them. Two things: I question his authority to have done it without congressional action but they were too chicken shit to deal with it under Obama so I am sure they won't now. I wish President Trump would come out with a full policy statement on Syria that I could agree or disagree with.

I wish he would have gotten permission from congress - because I would at least feel confident that there were multiple eyeballs on the situation. Congress prevented Obama from doing so - and I don't know why, but they must at least have some scripted reason why they thought it was a bad idea. We can debate if their reasoning was sound or not - but it clearly wasn't a slam dunk, of course we should situation. I suspect you could get the best 20 brains on the subject and they would have 20 different opinions. The if-then models must be ridiculous!

I'm still waiting for trump's secret plan to obliterate ISIS "quickly" he said he had. But he would only release the plan if elected. So where is it?

It's too secret to reveal or use.

Such a loser meme. The latter was legally required and wasn't something just done to be manly.

North Korea always makes a lot of noise this time of year when we hold our "war games" with the South Koreans. The only good news I can think of on the Trump front is that somebody with a fruit salad on their chest DID tell him that if there was a really real nuke exchange with a really real nuke power then NYC would go poof. And if NYC went, so would his shiny phallic symbol were his wife and son live. I'm starting to hope they'd take out Mar-a-Lago instead. After all, he's there almost every weekend and some weekdays as well. Probably less civilian causalities as well. And maybe Steve Bannon would go poof too.

I wonder if they convinced him of that back in the original meeting where he supposedly asked three times, "Why can't we use nuclear weapons? We HAVE them!"

Aegis missile systems have a tremendous defensive capability. A lot of it is classified and not in your CNN article.

I fully understand how a candidate can change their view of the world once they are in office and have more information than previously. I can understand how an individual can change their mind based on changing world situations or their personal situation in the world. I can even understand an individual changing their minds as their brain chemistry changes moment to moment. When it is the President of the United States, I think it is something that should interest us all as events unfold.

So now he knows even more than knowing everything?

They know everything they know but are unaware of a great number of things that they are forced to see as time goes by. We need to hope that Candidate Trump is maturing well into President Trump although I know some can't resist making fun of him as he goes through that process.

He's completely reversed direction on five major policies in the last 48 hours.
That's not Presidential enlightenment, it's a mercurial, weak-minded man falling into lockstep with the failed policies of his predecessors.

Whatever will the next 48 hours hold? What is the old quote from a top draft choice? "I am going to turn this losing franchise around a full 360 degrees!"

Not a false pretext. Our great president said it was a one time thing as punishment. The cruise missiles used, were also at the end of their service life. Saves on scrapping costs.

One time, old missiles have no relevance as to whether the reason for launching the attack was what actually happened. Unloading them, transporting to where they are disassembled, then doing the disassembly, is way more costly than shooting them off.
