1 Tomahawk missle costs approx $1.5 million. We launched between 60-70 Wonder what buddy of his owns a company making missles & what his kickback will be. I believe Lockheed produced the old ones...could be wrong on that. Maybe he's firing the ones that are three versions old? Ya know, blow em up before they expire. Whoops it's raytheon.

The guy who wants to ban refugees is upset about the chemical weapons attack. I want to ban refugees but I'm devastated by the attack. The two are not mutually exclusive.

Trump doing what gutless Obama would not . Funny how trump was against going into Syria not that long ago. Donald J. Trump @realdonaldtrump Sep 11, 2013 Obama must now start focusing on OUR COUNTRY, jobs, healthcare and all of our many problems. Forget Syria and make America great again! 1,571 881 Donald J. Trump @realdonaldtrump Sep 9, 2013 Iraq has granted Iran full air rights to fly over and arm Syria. What did America accomplish with the Iraq war? And now Syria?! 369 142 Donald J. Trump @realdonaldtrumpsep 13, 2013 We should stop talking, stay out of Syria and other countries that hate us, rebuild our own country and make it strong and great again-USA! 2,714 2,010 May more here: trump tweet storm Syria 2013

Of all the rash, fool-headed things to do.
Understand: Pres. al Assad has all but completely won in the Syrian civil war. He'd have absolutely nothing to gain by using chemical weapons, and everything to lose. The man would have to be certifiably insane to use them at this point, and of the many things he is, he is by no means insane.
The only actor who benefits from an alleged chemical weapon attack by Assad's regime are the warmongering neocons in Washington. They tried implicating him in a false flag chemical weapons attack last year and failed. This time they got their wish.
I don't believe for one blessed minute that al Assad ordered a chemical weapons attack. A legitimate investigation into the attack would have absolved him of involvement just as before. I was hoping beyond hope that Pres. Trump's bluster about saturation missile strikes from earlier today was empty rhetoric, but the man has shown his recklessness and impulsiveness know no bounds. He's not going to be impeached over this, but he ought to be.
My deepest sympathies to you, America. Your president, in a single spectacular feat of poor judgment, has embroiled you more directly in yet another Middle Eastern conflict that will sap your treasuries and soldiers' blood until there's nothing left. If there was any justice in the world, the lot of them, including Pres. Trump and Sen. McCain, would be hung for treason.

trump should have listened to Rand Paul earlier today before he launched those missiles. Rand Paul: Military action in Syria needs Congressional approval
By Andrew Kaczynski, CNN Updated 12:35 PM ET, Thu April 6, 2017 (CNN)Republican Sen. Rand Paul said Thursday Congress would need to approve military action in Syria. "The first thing we ought to do is probably obey the Constitution," Paul said on "Kilmeade and Friends." "When Nikki Haley came before my committee and I voted for her, I asked her that question. 'Will you try to take us to war? Will you advocate for war without constitutional or congressional authority?' And she said no. So I assumed what she means by this is that, the President, if he decides to do something in Syria, he would come to Congress and ask for a declaration of war. Short of Congress voting on it, I'm opposed to illegal and unconstitutional wars." Paul said he had sympathy for the images coming out of Syria, but any action would need to be carefully weighed. "I have the greatest amount of sympathy, I can't see those pictures, it's heartrending to see those pictures," he said. "But going to war we have to decide, will it be better or worse? Will we improve our national security? Are we threatened currently by Syria, and if we go to war is (Syrian President Bashar al-)Assad likely to use less chemical weapons or more? There's some argument for the more cornered and the more defeated in some ways more likely they are to use chemical weapons and actually for the less defeated they are that they're less likely to use them. The bottom line is it's horrific." Rand Paul: Military action in Syria needs Congressional approval

"We’re going to put America first, we’re going to reengage in a way that advances America’s interests in the world and that advances peace.”
Yeah, I think he's really confused on what that means.

While it is appalling that so many died horrible deaths from the apparent use of poison gas, I am saddened at the thought of more of our young people being redeployed back to the Middle East (including my DN).

"Gutless Obama" bombed the shit out of thousands Shooby. Not as many as you enjoyed during the wasting of Iraq's women and children, but plenty enough to be a war criminal.
Would you have more respect for him if he had killed even more?
Is Trump getting the blood lust up and running out there in America?

The reason you can't believe it is because you still think the war in Syria ended with Aleppo?? This isn't the case and there are problems in Sini, Yemen, etc. So Assad actually has everything to gain because once the Balkans becomes a bigger problem, Russia would have to stop supporting Assad and fight there to save themselves. Unless President Trump keeps bombing Assad, he will hold on for another 11 months or so... On the 100th anniversary of the US entering WW1... It's been global for a while...

Unless President Trump keeps bombing Assad, he will hold on for another 11 months or so... On the 100th anniversary of the US entering WW1... It's been global for a while... Not 7 days ago the UN basically conceded Assad would remain in power and were drawing up guidelines for accepting the legitimacy of his government. Then four days later he launches a sarin gas attack on a civilian target (with his own people in the region, no less) for no discernible reason to incur the ire of the entire world and end any chance of the legitimacy he's sought for the past three years? I don't believe it. You'd have to believe the man is insane, and I don't. Your only hope now is that Russia doesn't retaliate in response to this.

Well Trump just proved he is the war monger I always expected he was, not an isolationist America first person like the elder Paul. No Congressional approval. None.

Palm Beach, Fla. — President Donald Trump said Thursday night that he ordered a targeted Tomahawk missile strikes on a Syrian airbase as he called on "all civilized nations to join us in seeking to end the slaughter and bloodshed" in that country.
Trump spoke to reporters at his Mar-a-Lago club, where he is hosting China President Xi Jinping, shortly after the U.S. missile launch in response to the Syrian regime's deadly chemical weapons attack earlier this week that killed dozens of innocent civilians.

Why am I not surprised? Waiting for your parties talking points first?
