I made a big pot vegetable soup in beef broth which we had for dinner; I had a salad and DH had cucumber slices. Two quart containers of soup are cooling in the fridge. I am making chili for tomorrow.

Dee, sounds like you are getting ready for winter. Right now DH can only "chew" soft foods because of dental surgery. The two quarts of soup are definitely going into the freezer. Are you feeling better?

last night, I doctored up a Red Baron pizza while I was making raviolis. tonight, I made a real pizza with some pre-made dough I picked up at Whole Foods when I went for the almond milk ricotta yesterday. I mixed up a quick tomato sauce and thin-sliced a bunch of veggies, then drizzled pesto over the top for the last couple minutes of cooking. the tomato sauce wasn't awesome, but it scratched the pizza itch way better than last night's frozen pizza did.
oh, and since about this time last night, I have made 9 dozen raviolis for the freezer. dayum.

Just some cream of broccoli with cheddar soup, with some fresh sourdough.
I made peach jam today, and didn't feel like more cooking.

Hubby brought home pizzas and I made pineapple upside down cake, everyone was happy. I didn't eat pizza, like it but gives me indigestion, I baked a sweet potato and ate some baked beans, was good.

Sunday were ribs smoked on the Traeger. Good job, DH! Last night was a new recipe from a friend: Recipe: Chicken Alfredo 2 cans cream of chx soup 1 Italian dressing mix 8 oz cream cheese 2-3 chicken breasts Put all ingredients in freezer bag, freeze. Place in crockpot, thawed or frozen, ADD TWO CUPS OF WATER, and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Shred chicken and serve over cooked noodles. I served it on top of spaghetti squash for me, and angel hair for DH. Started from frozen, the chicken was tender. Tonight: Beef sausage and zucchini skillet Wed-Sat: IDK as I'll be traveling.

that sounds tasty, andi! I needed some comfort food tonight. decided to make turkey tenderloin over loaded risotto. I cooked the turkey stovetop in a covered saute pan, in a little olive oil and adding the same chicken stock I used in the risotto in the next pan. so tasty. oh, and some pinot gris that I opened to pour into the risotto as well.

I thought about making one of these because I have a bunch of leftover pineapple from a party over the weekend. Won't have rings but I don't really care. Any tips/suggestions?

Grilled chicken salad. I didn't have enough to eat for lunch and came home starving. It was the easiest thing to throw together.

We had a hodge podge tonight. Leftover chicken and noodles, DIL had cooked some soup for she and little guy, hubby and I were gone for awhile. I made potato salad and cheese hot dogs, they ate that too and water melon and jello.
DD isn't feeling good, her gut issues, she just had warm jello water, settles her tummy and gut down and also a gas x. I took soda and any kind of mixed stuff away from her, she doesn't need that stuff. She is likely getting a gut infection again, poor girl.

I'm having a ham sandwich. I took an Atkins lasagna for lunch today because I am trying to clean out the freezer. DH bought it, but he can't eat it because he hasn't gotten fitting dentures yet. It's been up there awhile. I cooked it and couldn't eat it. I eat LC lasagna all the time. But this one was watery and nasty. I think they left out the pasta. And it had a lot of calories for an unappetizing frozen meal . . . 400+. So I had a Hershey chocolate bar. No apologies here. There's one more Atkins meal up there that he bought. I'm scared to cook it.

an Atkins meal definitely forgot the pasta. that's the origin of the low carb craze. "induction" phase allowed you 20g of carbohydrates per day, that was only allowed to come from fresh vegetables. fruits, grains, beans, all of that is off-limits.

A can of Chef Boyardee ravioli when my coworker gets in. That and some Cheetos. Wasn't really hungry today so I just ate a lemon donut and went back to sleep. I'm awake and hungry now.

I am twitching at your lack of vegetables.... I ate some baby carrots too. Don't worry. I had vegetables. And just realized my dinner consisted of all orange food(s). That is disturbing.
