Apparently women are not voting for Clinton. How anyone with a uterus could vote for Trump is completely beyond me. I voted for trump ....but I no longer have a uterus :-p

My one friend that came out as a Trump supporter was completely ostracized. I'm wondering how much truth there is to the idea that people were lying about how they were going to vote. Based on the nasty posts I saw on FB towards trump supporters, I don't blame anyone for keeping their vote quiet.

Stocks are on sale. Go on a shopping spree. They'll come back up eventually regardless of who wins. You think this the bottom?

Most likely not, but I'm trying to be supportive in light of all the doom and gloom, world is ending budding hysteria being exhibited. Not a comment for or against either candidate, but did anyone really think it wouldn't be a bumpy ride for (at least) a few weeks after the election, regardless of the victor?

The court for 4 decades. Women's reproductive rights, LGTB rights, minoirity rights, no health care, more war... Yeah, it'll be peachy.

Don't get me wrong. I'm white. I got money. Hell with no estate taxes I'll get a lot more some day.... But I'm not watching this ship go down.

The smart ones kept their mouths shut. Even after me asking to not post political crap on FB they just couldn't quit.

How many "surprise" or "lost" ballot boxes do you think will show up during the recounts? It really is pretty amazing how close it is in so many states.

Trump is a social liberal and won't do anything to restrict those things have you seen his list of possible Justices for the Supreme Court? All conservative males.

I hope this leads to a lot of soul searching and dialogue. It may end up being more about class and the economy than race. It's interesting that Nate Silver appears to be the only pollster who got close. Fuck that. Dems can shrug too. I'm liquidating and finding a quiet oasis for awhile.

I think calling everybody who was even thinking about voting for Trump a racist, sexist, xenophobe, etc probably shut down a lot of conversations, which is why so many people probably didn't talk about their support and why. Not only did it shut down dialogue, it probably also helped more people feel safe about not voting or voting 3rd party because they didn't hear a lot people supporting Trump and the media did what it could to promote anybody who would consider it as an extreme and as an example of everything wrong with this country. I did not honestly see it being this close in the EC...I figured it'd be decently close in the popular vote based on previous election history.

I wasn't blaming her, or saying she did it...just pointing out that the conversations have been one-sided and that's why IMO. Just looking at FB, I can't believe how many Clinton supporters are talking about how embarrassed they are to live in a state that went red or how they think some of the things they are writing are appropriate at all. Keep in mind, these are the same people all about inclusion, open-mindedness and not offending people....unless of course those people happen to disagree with them and then all civility goes out the window.

Don't you mean "right back out of the hole Obama dug us into..."? Clinton would have dug us into the hole deeper. I don't know if Trump will get us out, but at least he'll stop the digging.

Trump will dig us into a different hole. We'll end up like the Money Pit in Nova Scotia where so many different holes have been dug, by different people that you can't find the original hole.

I've tried to have positive dialogue. I've tried to find common ground. I get called a baby killer by people who think they are being called deplorable. They want to believe what they want to believe. Fine. Reality? I'm ok. My kids are ok. I'm the good color, I have resources, I have an education. Fine. You don't want to talk rationally, you want what you have voted for? Have fun. I just can't... Maybe tomorrow...

Maybe it's just late, but I'm honestly not sure what that means.

Has anyone thought what this is going to do to "never ever doubt me" SCP (Paul)?
He got this one right. His head might just explode.

Trump is a natural salesman and I underestimated what that meant for the election. He understands, on some visceral level, what people want and fear. That's basically what Clinton tried to do too...it's odd that you don't see that at all.
