Ratchets,
Do you often have thoughts of committing acts of violence towards women, "with boards or something", when you don't like the environment they create?

Looks like people are coming around to the idea that it's "Cruz or Lose" for the GOP. Won't be enough to win Florida, though. Looks like Kasich is going to deny Trump OH delegates- up 6% right now. Still, here's the reality: Trump will have the nomination sewn up this week. And a general election rout sewn up as well But we will see on FL- Rubio won the debate hands down by doing what he should have been doing from the start- ignoring anything captain idiot says, refuse to engage captain idiot, and stick to policy like Kasich does. Kasich is going to lose Ohio today. Trump has mobilized the anti-NAFTA vote, and Kasich just decided that it would be a good idea to double down on amnesty- promising amnesty and citizenship for illegal aliens in his first 100 days (say what you will about Donald Trump's ego, the ego to beat in this race is John Kasich-- the words "my first 100 days" coming out of his mouth is pretty audacious- he has ZERO shot), Kasich permitted the ObamaCare Medicaid expansion setting up an inevitable fiscal crisis in Ohio, and now we know he cut a deal with Clinton for the assault weapons ban.

I am SOO glad our primary is today. I have had it w/all the airing of the SAME political ads constantly on tv. I have had it w/the robo political phone calls. It is MY phone. I pay for it. It is for MY use. Rest up for September, October and November. It's coming.

For what it's worth, I expect Trump to take 4/5 states ... with Kasich getting his home state of Ohio. It will be interesting in Florida to see if the #2 votes is Cruz rather than Rubio.
A Clinton sweep wouldn't surprise me, nor would Sanders grabbing a state or two.
Next week: Arizona, Idaho and Utah!

And of course we have the left wing mob in Chicago working very hard to get Trump the nomination. Thanks for that. Aren't you the poster who started a thread on July 27, 2015 about Donald Trump and his possible run for the presidency? And then on December 8, 2015, changed the thread title to 'No, Really: President Trump- Get Used To It? Trump will very probably be the Republican candidate for president. But it's not because of the protesters-they came later. It's because of a mostly unappetizing selection of other Republican candidates whom Trump was making minced meat out of long before the protests began. Republicans wanted a candidate from outide the Beltway. Well guess what-you do have one now-a unique, outsider candidate for sure. But I'm not too sure how that will play out with the vast majority of voters come November. Be careful what you wish for. You now own him.

Rubio congratulated Donald Trump on his victory in Florida tonight, and just suspended his campaign 3 hours after he announced he would be in Utah tomorrow campaigning for the Presidency regardless of tonight's outcome

Of course the mainstream RNC Repos don't like Trump. The Cruz drones don't like Trump. Nobody likes Trump on the Repo side except for all the Repos voting for him. He has the lead. YUUGE!
Now you have those on the left that are exercising their Constitutional rights to assembly and the free speech of protest...all against the guy Paul and others dislike and are hoping will have a stroke later today.
But surprise, surprise, surprise Sgt. Carter! Now those Americans are being labeled as a violent left-wing mob of brown shirts...blah, blah, blah. Yet they are simply protesting the horrific Trump, as is their right, and now let the whining commence from the right.

You do know this is a discussion on the vote totals, and not your personal opinions, of the obvious victor that will go on and defeat Clinton this fall?

VB,
Just responding to your fellow Repo and commenting on what you other Repos think about Trump. Some is my opinion (oh gosh!) and some is just current truth on what you repos are up to. Deal.
But I did get a chuckle from your opinion about beating Clinton but still searching for the vote totals.

I, like, dj, only report what is going on. dj uses analysis, and statistics, I use my gut and lots of political reading. dj and I disagree on whether Trump has the legs to run the table. I say he does. Jeb was my man Then it was Christie after I realized Jeb was going nowhere Today, I am a man without an island. I admit I cannot vote for Clinton or Sanders, and I will never vote for Cruz.

Chris Mathews of MSNBC, a half hour ago was suggesting Hillary ask Kasich to be her Vice President running mate. Is this guy freaking nuts? Is he trying to destroy Kasich politically? Or is he just nuts?

So after tonight is there still a viable contest or no? Democratic side, probably not. Sanders might win Illinois which keeps him going. Ohio, same thing, but Hillary should take the nomination. Republican side, if Trump does win Illinois, North Carolina, and Missouri, it is over.

Chris Mathews of MSNBC, a half hour ago was suggesting Hillary ask Kasich to be her Vice President running mate. Is this guy freaking nuts? Is he trying to destroy Kasich politically? Or is he just nuts? Can't even imagine the negative impact that would have on turnout on the Democratic side. You think Sanders supporters aren't excited by Hillary, try Clinton/Kasich.

No Donald. It's not "Northern Marinas Islands". It's Northern Mariana Islands. Donald pronounced Mariana as 'Maryanna's'. Northern Mariana Islands should rescind their nine delegates for Donald for mispronouncing their commonwealth's name.

Northern Mariana Islands should rescind their nine delegates for Donald for mispronouncing their commonwealth's name. Who owns the southern chain of islands? The U.S. territory of Guam is at the south. The rest of the island chain is the commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands. Now if you don't want to say/pronounce 'Islands' as in The Mariana Islands, then you can informally call them The Mariannas. But that is not what Trump said. Trump ssid "The Mariannas Islands".

So now, in order to win the general election, Trump will have to pivot.
He'll have to go back to the people who did not vote for them and humbly ask them to now vote for him instead of Hillary.
He'll have to go to people he previously insulted, like the Hispanics, apologize for his earlier statements, and ask for their support in the upcoming general election.
He has to, in order to get enough votes to win against Hillary. It's what a politician would do.
But we all know he's not a politician, doesn't have a humble bone in his body, and loves to declare other people losers.
He also runs the risk of pivoting too much and alienating his base supporters enough that they start to get disgruntled and stay home on voting day.
Who thinks the Donald has a chance of pulling this off in just the right way?

Assuming it is Clinton-Trump in November, will Trump begin attacking Clinton because of her gender/appearance/intelligence as he did Megyn Kelly/Carly Fiorina/Rosie O'Donnell and take the chance of alienating half of all voters in the U.S.? Time will tell.
