Of all the talent competitions lately I have been really enjoying The Voice.
I do still love Project Runway and Top Chef although it is less about the actual contestants now than it was to me.
I do still love watching House Hunters International. It is less about the couple finding a home for me than seeing what passes for a home or apartment in a part of the world that I have never been to and probably never will.

Americas next top model (don't know if it's still on but the reruns are great!). I like the makeup and costumes they come up with and how the girls look in the different pictures.

There's a little known show called The Haitian Drama Show that airs on the YM network. I've gotten caught up in it a few times. there's one called Hopeful Dachshunds also. Wait, is that reality or soap opera?
(Chloe knows she was inappropriate right there, and she promises to never do it again.)That was cancelled

I also like American Ninja Warrior and Amazing Race. I want to go on The Amazing Race, but DH thinks we would get divorced after. We're not interesting enough to be picked, so it's a non issue American Pickers...I like those two guys from Iowa searching through our back roads, and discovering rusty gold.

Interesting. The few shows I watch I don't think have been mentioned: "Million Dollar Listing NY", "Counting Cars", and "Pitbulls and Parolees". Other than that, it's generally all sports for me.

There's a really good show called "the universe" that you'd probably like. That one had 6 seasons I think. There's also a show put on by the BBC that I can't seem to find, and it was even better, the guy would illustrate idea very well for us simpletons in the audience .
There's another BBC show called "history of the world" narrated by Andrew Marrs which is very good.
Sorry, I know that was documentaries not reality shows!
I like the dude who tastes cooking and rips it apart...you can't hardly watch the show on prime time because it has so much profanity. About cooking! I don't see anywhere in cooking that really warrants an F-bomb...but he takes it seriously LoL. This meme cracks me up though:
Oh, yeah. I've seen all the Universe episodes. Also How the Universe Works, How the Earth Was Made, How the Earth Works, Strip the Cosmos, Cosmos (of course--big NdGT fan), pretty much anything sciency and interesting that doesn't involve the weird alien-searching guy with the wannabe Centauri hairdo. I think I've probably seen History of the World, but will certainly be on the lookout for it in case I haven't!
I tried watching the Gordon Ramsey shows, but he's just so angry and mean that I didn't really enjoy them. I'm sure he has good reason to be, though, given some of the places he has to try to fix and the people he has to deal with.
I love this!

I hate the talent reality shows. I really don't care if you can dance or not. I like the ones where you can learn something, like how much antiques cost and how to spot a fake, how people live in other countries (House Hunting International). Love documentaries...saw Africa on PBS the other day and was enthralled. The courtship rituals of the nomadic Wodaabe blew my mind.

The UK version of Kitchen Nightmares was so much better than the US version. Its obvious they had a "script" to follow here and it ruined the show.

I saw a series years ago on PBS called "The Farmers Wife". It was really good and I wish they would rerun it show I could record it. I was amazed that a show about farmers in the mid-west could hold my interest but it was really compelling and "real" not like the fake "reality" crap they have today.

Deadliest Catch. I would not do that kind of work for any amount of money. But I like seafood, so I'm glad someone does.
Shahs of Sunset. Total trainwreck of a reality show, with a lot of glitz, bling and drama in two languages.

The question was about reality shows, so no it doesn't LMAO!!! We like The Voice and AGT and we've watched Celebrity Wife Swap a few times. Holy Cow that is hilarious! I also watch Britain's Got Talent (and other countries) on YouTube. I have no talent so I really like those kinds of shows. I didn't realize those were considered reality shows though (except the wife swap one).

I like America's Got Talent and the Alaskan survival shows (Alaskan Bush People, Life Below Zero, the one about Azt Lee and his clan). I absolutely love my creature comforts, but I have always wanted to try living completely off of the grid. I grew up off the grid. Believe me, it's highly overrated.

Chrisley Knows Best. It's a riot. I never had the desire to watch this show, but I also don't watch it because USA keeps cancelling all the really good shows (Monk, Psych, Necessary Roughness, Covert Affairs) and putting on crap like this!

Mostly those 2 and a lot of American movies. Funnily, I came home with the kids last night and that's what DH had on - Wed. night must be ST TNG night on BBCA. And this morning I found the remote in the kitchen, where he'd left it while making his dinner (the kids and I mooched off Mom) and he'd been unable to find it when he went to bed last night.

Forgot about River Monsters with my bae Jeremy Wade!!!! <3 oh and An Idiot Abroad... if you haven't seen it, please do for the love of God!!!!! Before my first open water swim, DH watched River Monsters for a week, mostly to scare himself. Didn't work on me. I loved An Idiot Abroad when it was on the first time around (the current Travel Channel broadcast is a repeat of the original). Ricky Gervais is a wicked human, and poor Carl is just, well, he's just Carl.

I'm sure he'll be able to watch many more episodes this weekend. Or maybe this evening. Any time I give a thought to looking to see what's on there, it's ST TNG.

I won't but it was hilarious! You are the only other person I know who watches it. But others must because it is already scheduled for another season.

For some reason I've never been able to quit MTV's The Challenge.
I also like SYTYCD, Ninja Warrior, Dirty Jobs, and anything on HGTV or Animal Planet.

Another one I forgot to mention the other day is "Food Fighters".
It's a competition show - pitting everyday home cooks against professional chefs - to create the best dish from the menu selection incuding same (basic) ingredients and adding their own extras or special touches to make the best tasting & visually pleasing dish.
It's on tonight on NBC (9 pm?) for anyone who hasn't seen it yet.
