America's Got Talent - it never lets me down.
I'm watching it now as I type. There are some people on the show with truly amazing talent - singing, magic, and everything in between..
They're about mid-way through this season and tonight they're doing some judge's cuts - only the best of the best will be going through to the next rounds. It's going to be some tough decisions tonight.
As for other (non-talent) types of reality shows, I also enjoy "The Amazing Race". It's not only a race against time, they have some pretty difficult challenges along the way too.

American Ninja Warrior. It is a silly show, but it is so upbeat that I can't help but root for each of them. I watch it while I work out and it is the best work out of the week. I also watch Face Off sometimes.

Mythbusters and Outrageous Acts of Science. Do they count? I think they're considered reality shows. Loved Dirty Jobs, but they keep moving Mike Rowe's new show (Somebody's Gotta Do it) around on CNN, so I often miss it, though I've liked the ones I've managed to see.
I like the competition shows on the Food Channel and the Cooking Channel (Chopped, Iron Chef, Cupcake Wars, Food Network Challenge, stuff like that).
If there's something on TV about ancient Egypt or space or physics or something geeky, I'm going to watch that, even if it's something I've seen before. I probably miss a lot of other good stuff that way. I never got into the habit of watching the performance reality shows like American Idol and DWTS, though I know people who love them and try to get me interested. I just keep forgetting to look for them.

We love food network star. Even though the last several years the winners have not really done that well.

Oh, I forgot about Mythbusters dannylion but it hasn't been on lately. The "launching" of the water heater may be my most favorite moment ever

I think you have got something similar... but ours is called Strictly Come Dancing.
I like the dresses, the glamour, the music and the dancing. We usually have it in the Winter so it brightens up an otherwise dark evening with that "feel good"...
We also have something called the Sewing Bee. Same sort of thing... the contestants make 3 outfits and one gets eliminated. I like sewing, colours, styles and fabrics.....so am glued to the TV when that is on.
Like SL says the Talent shows are usually worth a watch.

I never got into the habit of watching the performance reality shows like American Idol and DWTS, though I know people who love them and try to get me interested. I just keep forgetting to look for them. There's a really good show called "the universe" that you'd probably like. That one had 6 seasons I think. There's also a show put on by the BBC that I can't seem to find, and it was even better, the guy would illustrate idea very well for us simpletons in the audience .
There's another BBC show called "history of the world" narrated by Andrew Marrs which is very good.
Sorry, I know that was documentaries not reality shows!
I like the dude who tastes cooking and rips it apart...you can't hardly watch the show on prime time because it has so much profanity. About cooking! I don't see anywhere in cooking that really warrants an F-bomb...but he takes it seriously LoL. This meme cracks me up though:
Oh, yeah. I've seen all the Universe episodes. Also How the Universe Works, How the Earth Was Made, How the Earth Works, Strip the Cosmos, Cosmos (of course--big NdGT fan), pretty much anything sciency and interesting that doesn't involve the weird alien-searching guy with the wannabe Centauri hairdo. I think I've probably seen History of the World, but will certainly be on the lookout for it in case I haven't!
I tried watching the Gordon Ramsey shows, but he's just so angry and mean that I didn't really enjoy them. I'm sure he has good reason to be, though, given some of the places he has to try to fix and the people he has to deal with.

Amazing Race
I think that is the only reality show I watch anymore (I used to do Bachelor/Bachelorette, Kardashians, etc.).
I also like Giuliana and Bill, but I don't know if that is on anymore.
Oh, I watch Wahlburgers too. But even that is getting too staged for me.

I like America's Got Talent and the Alaskan survival shows (Alaskan Bush People, Life Below Zero, the one about Azt Lee and his clan). I absolutely love my creature comforts, but I have always wanted to try living completely off of the grid.

We've been watching American Ninja Warrior this summer. Shark Tank, Amazing Race, and Survivor are the others that we watch.
Sometimes my mom convinces me to watch Dancing With The Stars. I like it, but my DH doesn't, so we rarely watch that one.

Do Antiques Roadshow and Genealogy Roadshow count as reality shows?
I DVR Mysteries at the Museum for background noise. They get someone to talk about 1 item from a museum collection and then do re-enactments of it. Sometimes there are photos and/or video. There's a couple of spinoffs (Mysteries at the Hotel; Mysteries at the Monument) too.

damn, I miss the good cable package we had a few years ago! BBC America had some good shows that I miss - You Are What You Eat, the one where Gordon Ramsey was trying to save restaurants (I forget the name!!!!), Cash in the Attic...
I don't have cable but the only other ones I liked were Rehab Addict, House Hunters International, and the various food related shows on the Travel Channel.

Does anyone remember The Mole? Anderson Cooper hosted. It was so much fun. I was sad when CNN hired him and The Mole was canceled.

There's a little known show called The Haitian Drama Show that airs on the YM network. I've gotten caught up in it a few times.

Does anyone remember the show Bug Juice from the 90's? It was middle school kids at summer camp. I was completely obsessed because I desperately wanted to go to camp but couldn't.

(Chloe knows she was inappropriate right there, and she promises to never do it again.)

I also like American Ninja Warrior and Amazing Race. I want to go on The Amazing Race, but DH thinks we would get divorced after. We're not interesting enough to be picked, so it's a non issue

DWTS, although I do miss Maks. Stuff like Property Brothers, Love it or List it and all that on HGTV. Mythbusters if I remember it exists. Kitchen Nightmares. I think that's it.

I usually end up watching Survivor and Amazing Race because DS like them. DS like American Ninja warriors too so we end up watching that. I admit- I watch mostly for the eye candy.
Me- I like the cooking competitions ( chopped, cake wars, hells kitchen, and a few others). I usually try and catch Project Runway too. God help me- I started watching Dance Moms a while back. The drama is ridiculous and I could do with out it. But I watch because I find it amazing that the kids are only 10-12.
I think that is why I watch the shows I do. I like to watch people do things I have absolutely no talent for doing.
