Asked as I finished up some leftovers from dinner Sunday. I made prime rib, mashed potatoes with gravy and sides. Not sure if this is my favorite, but it would be in my top 5.

Filet Migon and crab legs, with a side of lobster tail. Oh, and lots of butter.

Unfortunately, when I get anxious I get really nauseous. (Yes, that's very fun at the starting line of big regattas.)
So if we're talking final meal before being executed, I probably wouldn't eat. Bad enough to be executed, but I don't want to be barfing in my final hours.

Sorry, never had food stamps or EBT card. I was going to add that little tidbit as you suggested, but I thought it would throw an honest thread question off the track. This would be an excellent last meal. I admit, I love Filet Migon and lobster, crab legs are just ok, and I would have to add a double baked potato to that menu, but I think it would be an excellent last meal.

As long as I had a six pack of beer, I don't really care.

How about favorite meal, not the idea that you are going to the executioner!

How about favorite meal, not the idea that you are going to the executioner! If you are being executed, I do not care whether you get the last meal. Couple of shots of your favorite alcohol would be ok.

That's a tough question, there are a lot of different foods I enjoy. Sticky toffee pudding. A good scotch. And for dessert...maybe a lamb burger. More scotch.

I have reason to believe that my last meal will be delivered via stomach tube or IV. I probably won't notice or enjoy it and the people around me will probably be having a much worse time. I'd love to write a will that stipulates a grand dinner for the folks who finally get the hospital to stop feeding me.
I'd love to have fifty pounds of Maine lobster and a splint of champagne delivered to my relatives on the first anniversary of my death or my first birthday without them. It would be my way of making up for what the hospital put them through.
Can any of you suggest some appropriate side dishes? The only accompaniments that occur to me are lemons and drawn butter. If I posthumously serve a meal of booze, lobster, butter, and acid to my relatives, they'll probably wake up hung-over, itchy, barfy, and/or sour. I don't want to be remembered for that either.

I love lamb, so I would go with leg of lamb served in a cherry reduction sauce, roasted rosemary potatoes, corn on the cob, french onion soup for a starter and creme brulee for dessert.

I'm available for adoption into the family and would be willing to toast you a year after you leave this rock.

If it were summer time, Irishpad, would that leg of lamb be a marinated, butterflied leg of lamb, grilled to medium-rare perfection?

It has been a long time but both my parents grew up in New Bedford, and that is where I went every year until I went to college. In my Portuguese New Englander view you have to add good fresh Portuguese pops (rolls) to go with it.

If I ever delete my account rest assured it will be so I don't become 500 lbs! All this place ever does for me is make me hungry. After being on the EBT crab legs and filet thread I had steak for dinner tues night and shrimp and crab last night. Now I want a New England Clam boil dinner.

Don't know if you have ever spent time in Newark, New Jersey or had the pleasure of dining there, but there is a section of town called the IronBound neighborhood. The neighborhood is loaded with excellent Portuguese and Galician Spanish restaurants. I dined in the IronBound neighborhood often when I lived in Newark.

Wyouser-if you are ever in the southeastern Connecticut/Rhode Island area and you want an all-you-can-eat seafood buffet, look for the Nordic lodge in Charleston, Rhode Island. If you want to eat 20 lobsters at one sitting, you can eat 20 lobsters. If you want to eat 100 lbs. of crab legs at one sitting, you can eat 100 lbs. of crab legs. There is no limit to how much you can eat. Two negatives about the Nordic lodge-no doggie bags allowed and the dinner price is $91 per adult. When I ate there back in the mid-80s, the price for an adult was $27 which was pretty steep even back then. But it was goooooood.

fried chicken and mashed potatoes from the now closed Virginia City Buffet in Atlantic City; fried Brussel Sprouts from Brother Jimmy's; sweet tea from Carolina Roadhouse; and the deep dish cookie pizza from Pizzeria Uno.

A Neurosis burger from Kuma's Korner (cooked medium rare - hey I'm dying, right?), their bacon mac n cheese, Fresh ripe watermelon for dessert and craft brew tap beer to wash it all down with.
Oh hell, and a side of fried pickles as well.
