Dear Lady in the drive thru lane, Your dimpled darling children will not starve to death if you pull forward into a parking space before getting out of the car and climbing into the back of your mommy van to distribute their dinners. The rest of us in line would like to get our dinners and get headed out instead of waiting for you. Signed, I couldn't believe what I was actually seeing.
Yup, they call it a drive thru lane for a reason (as opposed to a "park-your-big-ass-momwagon-chuck-chow-at-your-rugrats"-lane). People are not just stupid. There are insensitive and selfish as well.

Dear fellow volunteer, The person arranging the transport of puppies from one of our locations to another asked you to give me the following message, "Please bring the puppies you already have to (location) and then come back for more". The words that actually came out of your mouth were, "Could you please keep (puppy in her car) company for a few minutes while I go inside and get another dog?", leaving me waiting for 15 minutes until you left with the dog I thought I was waiting for, and leaving the organizer surprised that I hadn't made the round trip yet.
Really? I bet you park your mom-wagon in the drive-thru lane, don't you?

Dear Idiot Dog Owner:
First of all, the heat index has been over 100 degrees each day since at least the weekend. Why in the world would you leave your Pit bull in the car, even with the windows rolled down. Secondly, your unsupervised dog lunged at the old lady trying to get into her car, which was parked next to yours. While the dog didn't jump out of the car, and didn't bite her, she jumped, and frankly, so did I, because I didn't notice your dog as I walked past. (Fortunately, I hadn't walked past the side of your car with the open window.) In the future, keep Fido home. He doesn't need to come with you everywhere. And, he definitely shouldn't be left in a hot car. Even with the windows down. Plus, in this town, if he bites someone, chances are he'll be put down, even though YOU are the idiot.
Sincerely, Busymom

Dear DF
Do not be angry with me. How can you schedule your appointments if you do not know which week you will be out of town. Oh it would have been nice to know you will be out of town next this morning. I would have cancelled church nursery.

Dear friend,
Yes, some check cashing places will buy gift cards. But only if there is actually a balance left on the card. A GC with $0.00 left on it is worth $0.00.
Signed,
What were you thinking?

It is possible someone gave them the gift card and did not load it with money. Or, they spent it then gave it to them. Or the gift card identification numbers were stolen and used.

She knew the gift card was empty. For some reason, she thought the check cashing place needed cards. She is an RN.

Dear dumb ass SIL,
You are a fucking idiot. Our MIL can go wherever she pleases in her own house whenever she wants too. She can go to bed whenever she was wants to too. It’s HER and FIL’s house that she lets us stay in. She can always close the welcome mat. Your fucking dog better not be in their house anymore.
Signed, Has a MIL with a broken arm due to obstructions used to keep a dog out of the main houses.
PS - SIL is blaming her MIL for breaking her arm instead of SIL taking responsibility to not have a dog there anymore

Not only setting up the obstructions dangerous to your in-laws but having a dog in the house that possibly creates additional issues. I'd ban the SIL and her pooch. It's not the dog's fault, certainly. But your SIL needs a stint in obedience school

My DH kinda blames his dad for allowing it because his parents marriage is definitely a 1950s marriage (husband’s thoughts rule). Keep in mind, SIL is not well liked in this family and this didn't help.

I'd sign her up for the obedience school, then drive her there. But I'm a bitch like that. I don't think it's right to treat older people like they are little kids and really screw things up. Then again, I am an older person. To me, it's also patronizing to think that just because a person's got a few years on them, they cannot manage their own life.

When my nephew was younger, he always thought he was right about every single thing. Every "fact" he stated. I bought him a T-shirt that said, "Everything I say is firmly backed up by my own opinion". He has outgrown this stage. Some of our posters have not.

Dearest dear friend, I am happy to hear that the new hire who made your life miserable is no longer doing so. Miss BigShot got herself fired from your office. You're a hardworking person who's made that office a success. Kudos for not giving into her crap. Karma is a double-beyotch. Amen.

Those are the sweetest words NancysSummerSip, Dearest dear friend. This particular DF is a guy I've known 35 years, and the kind of person who makes everyone he comes in contact with a better person. He's is that guy who will do anything for you, and has proven it over and over. He's a rock and a rock star. he has an XW who cheated on him, walked out to be with her boyfriend and the boyfriend dumped her when she showed up at his door, suitcase in hand. I was sorry he went through the divorce, but his XW did not deserve him. I wish I could see her face-to-face and tell her that.

Your name is bullying to me whether from a friend or my own H. Your cruelty crushed me mentally, physically, spiritually, socially then you show up at tennis. That knife is still in my life which you just twisted again. Is there any protection from a mentalist that injures people both physically and mentally? Every time I hear someone has a rotator cuff problem, plantar tears, or other injury, I know you did it. Even your friends and playing partners aren't safe. Your coaches discard was a gift to me. Now stay away.

OK, gang....an office update.... Hot Mama and The Dude Who Dumped Her are together again. And moving in together. Hot Mama cannot make it into work on time, and her current place is 20 minutes from the office (she lives not far from me). She and DWDH are moving a full county north, so the 20-minute drive with no interstate now becomes almost an hour with the need for US 1, the interstate or the Turnpike. Why the move? Because DWDH got a fabulous job working at a big box store up that way, and of course, "K" her bestie who also works in the office, lives up there.
I kid you not; she told our HR manager that if her car was out of commission (which it regularly seems to be), she would carpool with "K". The issue with that..."K" is regularly late and regularly absent (she missed five months of work this year, so far). I swear, if Hot Mama and DWDH get married, I may attend, just to be the one who stands up when the preacher asks if anyone has objections, let them speak now or forever hold their peace.

The back up plan on the car being out of commission is outstanding. Well, sure....because all mature adults do that. Given that neither of them has any PTO available to use for time off or being late, etc., it's just brilliant. I am pretty sure there is not a total of 10 brain cells between them. But they are besties....and besties never let each other down, now do they? I think DWDH is going to get tired of her pretty fast, truthfully. He is almost a decade younger, no kids and likes his free and fast lifestyle. Now he is getting two kids (a first-grader and a just-barely high school graduate with no college prospects and no job) and a gal who talks more before noon (and says almost nothing of consequence) than most people do all week. Once she opens her mouth, it's all about her and you have nothing to say. I call people like this conversational bullies. They start out wanting to talk to you, but it ends up being all about them pretty fast. I don't think it's deliberately mean, cruel or vicious. But it is rude and demeaning.
