I would be willing to bet that your cheapy laptop has almost no RAM. I did that to myself with the last one I bought. it now takes up space in my filing cabinet, used sparingly when my work laptop is locked out from allowing me to do something. good luck with Dell. Checked it out and you are correct. Wish I knew more about RAM when I bought it. That will not be in the letter I write tomorrow. Also found out per the AG's office here, they want a copy of written correspondence to the seller (Dell) and to wait 5 business days for a response before sending anything to their office. Their instructions are to deal with one person at a time at the company and not mass email a bunch of people. It was the Colorado AG who finally got a mess straightened out for me when I made a debit card purchase at Best Buy and it was charged 121 times and over drew the account. Took a while, but the Colorado AG got everything reversed, including the overdraft fees. That was in the days when bank accounts had overdraft protection and those charges had gone over that limit, too. I am cringing about the Best Buy. Good luck on the computer issue TOM.

OK DH, You really could have fixed the issue yourself, early this morning, by taking the cable box to Comcast and swapping out dead box for new one. But noooooo. You expect me to fix your issues. I said I could do it, but it would be part of my morning chores, as opposed to dropping everything for you and the box. Now you're annoyed because the soonest fix is Monday.
Here's the deal. I did not break the cable. Neither did you. But I had appointments this morning. You had nothing going on. You could have done the 10-mile drive. And been back and in business before I returned from my appointments. But sulking is better. Gotcha. Fine. I have stuff to do. And frankly, I lived 12 years without a TV when I was single. Did not miss it then, and don't especially care about it now.

Dear hubby, Ok, you've been home 2 weeks & on vacation for a week. You rode my ass about making sure the yard was mowed the last month you were gone. I told you that I called 7 mowers before I got 1 to show up. I also warned you that the 1 that showed up wanted over $200 to mow because it was out of control. *I* was the one who got a neighbor to mow it instead. Now you want to have a fit because you can't get mowers to show up & the yard is out of control again. You've been on vacation a week & haven't even bothered to work on fixing your mower. NO we are NOT buying a new one. The longer you put this off thinking I'll give in on a new mower, the bigger YOUR problem in the yard becomes.
You ranted because I didn't have the oil changed while you were gone, told me how you would take care of it. Again, on vacation for a week & you didn't do anything about it. But you did make time to go to deer camp & mow up there & work on things there. I'm not amused. I'm not going to put up with having a fit over shit you should be taking care of. The yard & oil changes are YOUR problems, always have been.
And start putting your own shit away! We're not in the haunted woods, you don't need to leave a trail of your stuff so I know where you are. Stop leaving your shit everywhere thinking I'm the little house cleaning fairy that will come behind you and put everything where it goes.
And finally, are you new? I've never cooked you lunch...ever. Why would I suddenly be cooking you a hot lunch every day? In case you have forgotten, like always when you are on vacation, I buy soup, lunch meat, frozen meals etc for you to have for lunch. All that is here, stop acting shocked that you have to make your own lunch.
I miss my very clean house that I've had for the last 4 months. *le sigh*
While I'm bitching, Dear Kiddo! You have 1 year until you age off of our insurance. You want me to get your hip issues fixed. I make you appointments & because it wasn't an instant fix or the worst case scenario you were hoping for (so you could have a meltdown you have been planning for weeks) now you don't want to do anything to fix it. I paid a small fortune for your prescriptions, stop making excuses as to why you can't eat anything so you can take the pills. Stop making excuses as to why you can't go to physical therapy & stop complaining that you don't like the appointment times. You take what appointment they can give, end of discussion. I'm trying to help you take care of the problem & all you keep doing is finding something to bitch & whine about. It'll be worse if you don't take care of it & then you age off the insurance. Then what are you going to do?
Signed,
Having a menopausal/man hating day & about to uncork the rip raving bitch on both of you!

Dear world:
Now I have to write another explanation to the credit card company about the computer that doesn't work.
At least the CC company advised me to stop contacting Dell as their response will not change and I have more protection through the CC.
Fingers crossed.
Finally hoping.

You ever seen the paperwork involved in a homicide? My next door neighbor has 20+ years on the force. He tells me me he can make anything look like an accident. I remind my husband of this regularly.

I remind my husband of this regularly. I also worked in law enforcement/corrections. And there are plenty of places to hide a body here. I'd just hate to have to explain/justify my actions to people because he was such a crabby ass. Ignoring him and doing my own things just feels better.

Ok, part of the bat shit crazy side of the family stuff I haven't mentioned before. I have a cousin that shot & killed her boyfriend when she was 18. It keeps hubby on his toes to be reminded of just how bad the bat shit crazy that runs thru my veins can be. And my BFF in Houston would have no problem helping me dispose of a body. lol

Dear BFF's,
Next time get back to me in a reasonable time frame so I don't end up having to pay a cancellation fee. It is rather annoying and frustrating when I don't hear feedback on attempting to find accommodations for a busy weekend. Love you both to pieces but man, some days.
Snap~

I think they want to call it Texas Toasted: Badass, Boogie and Boozy. Personally, I want the part of Auntie Peabrain to be played by Kathy Bates. I think she does batshit crazy quite realistically.

For all our weirdness, the terrifying childhood, & generational bat shit crazy we have, my brothers & I are the "normal (ish)" ones.
Our friend from New Zealand (the one who had the alcoholic wife who drank herself to death last year) loves my family drama. He eats it up. Says we should be a sitcom. When I told him the latest on Bat Shit Crazy Aunt P, he goes "well that's it. You win. That shit can't be topped. Free range crazy in a bus. You win." LOL

Dear Lady in the drive thru lane, Your dimpled darling children will not starve to death if you pull forward into a parking space before getting out of the car and climbing into the back of your mommy van to distribute their dinners. The rest of us in line would like to get our dinners and get headed out instead of waiting for you. Signed, I couldn't believe what I was actually seeing.
