Sushi is the rice. The rice without the fish is still sushi.

Rice is rice. A dish with fish and rice is sushi. Sashimi is raw fish.

I like the raw fish but I like it with the rice. By itself, it's just a bit much.

You're crazy, sushimi is freaking delicious. I'd rather have it than any steak I've ever eaten.

I love wasabi, it's always a thin line between not enough and OMG, my sinuses are cleaned out.

Mt dog dearly loves globs of wasabi wrapped in thin sliced raw ginger. Her nose will start running and her eyes will be nearly shut from the tears, but her tail is wagging as she begs for more.
Mind you, her favorite treat is tootsie-rolls from the cat box.

I love wasabi, it's always a thin line between not enough and OMG, my sinuses are cleaned out. I find that the wasabi overpowers the flavor of the raw fish (salmon is my personal fav). I just dip it in soy sauce. Crap, now I want to go to Ninja Sushi for sake and vegie tempura.

Ewwwwww. Not the first time I have heard of this though. I've heard of dogs that also love nothing more than cleaning up after the horse.

Never heard of the horse thing before, but it doesn't surprise me.
What makes the cat box adventure SO much more exciting is when she actually manages to break into the cat box room and chomp treats right out of the box. The litter makes her barf, so I get to run around after her, cleaning up steaming piles that smell not only of fresh hot dog puke but with the added nuance of cat shit.

I have this vision of her sitting by the litter box with her tail going 5,000 mph as soon as the cat heads there waiting for the next batch of treats to be ready.

I've only had sushi once, I think 2 different kinds, but I don't remember what they were, and I didn't care for it. Maybe the kinds I tried just weren't good or something, but I've never really wanted to try it again. Maybe under the right circumstances, but it's not something I have a burning desire to try again right now. And my dog has a thing for cayenne pepper.
