If someone is that sensitive that they can get their feelings hurt by random itnernet posters, me thinks they don't belong on YM Doxie isn't one of them! She's got a hide as tough as shoe leather ;D And keeps coming back time after time...except...well, she hasn't posted on this thread I don't think.

Wait. Did I read that wrong or hadn't you heard? Doxie got "laid off" yesterday and is looking for a job that doesn't require a degree (or for that matter, much education), close to home, paying $15-$20/hour, where she can spend more time on the boards, and doesn't have to sell anything or be on the phone (except her own for playing/posting). Oh. One more thing, she wants one where she can wear jeans and flip flops.
ETA: Oops. Didn't mean $50/hour, although I'm quite certain that she'd be perfectly amenable...

I beg to differ, MissT. She has to be real because nobody could make that stuff up and keep track of (most of) it over a period of years. And if she could make it all up, she wouldn't need to look for a job because it would be a book and she'd be rich on royalties and what she got paid for selling the book rights for a movie .

And that was my point. You didn't piss me off. I was pointing out that you couldn't imagine it because you didn't have to imagine it. If you say ok this is going to be my reality and you set your mind to it, then it becomes a lot more imaginable. If you don't have to imagine it, why would you? But when you know you have to do something, you figure out how to prepare and you suck it and you do it.

I wouldn't have been happy because I did want to be home with my baby but if it wasn't an option I would have sucked it up and done what needed to be done.

I came back from my first two maternity leaves early and hated to leave my babies. But I didn't get offended by the above post because: 1. It honestly never occurred to me to think that anyone on this board is stupid enough to think that 100% of women who come back early do so because they don't like being with their kids. If everyone mentioned every possible situation, all of our posts would be 10 pages long. 2. Since I'm a grown up and perfectly secure in my decisions, I don't usually get my feelings hurt if some anonomous person who can't possibly know the whole story disapproves of my decisions.
