"itching my grapes" Maybe the fridge was left sitting on a couch over at the Shack. I mean, ya know what that's been used for, right?

Actually, icing my grapes sounds even better. And dirtier.

LOL, that could be it. I seriously could not figure out what the heck it meant! And if that's not it, maybe I shouldn't buy that model.

Now we have to abbreviate our abbreviations?
I'll stick with "Will Tom Explode?" until further notice.

WTE--it's how you tell an EE-er from a YM-er (my understanding is that someone got in trouble on the old EE for using WTF. Same reason you'll see us use "carp" sometimes instead of crap--that was because the old EE would censor it)

And if you do what many of us do, and yell, "WTE!" in real life, then you realize it's how you know you've been here too long.

And that is why we always said you were very clicky. You even have your own language that doesn't make any sense.

Aw, now wait a sec....
1) We do share. If someone asks for a translation, it is cheerfully provided.
2) "sense" is in the subjective eye of the sober beholder.

Only after several non-answers, including sexual jokes.
When I see a sober person, I'll ask them what makes sense.

Huh. Everyone is new at some point but I've seen very few people that weren't accepted. Maybe I haven't been here long enough. I saw people who didn't know respond that they didn't know. I may have been the first one reading the thread that knew and I replied with what I know. But I'll be part of a clique--I've never been in one before.

To be fair - the posts sometimes move faster at EE than YM and questions get missed until reading back after posting. I've been guilty of this and have had comments totally ignored. I blame it on the speed the board moves. I'm sober and I get the jokes just fine. I've never posted drunk - IRL or Virtually (I'm such a goody-too-shoes!!).

Well, this is EE. And no one has control over the responses of any individual, other than the admins, who can delete/remove/lock posts and threads as they deem necessary. You can always PM someone when you see something that makes you go"hmmmmmm."
And as I said, sense is subjective. Come to think of it, so is virtual sobriety.

Sexual jokes are plenty cheerful! Except when the old people make them, then they are disgusting.

I'm still not sure what it means - so it is basically just 3 random letters strung together to mean something that you couldn't say on a different board? It still means what the fuck - but just spelled totally wrong?

Thyme - On the old MSN somebody changed WTF to WTE so that the mods wouldn't get their panties in a wad and ban them <<POM gives Later the stink eye>> ;P. It means the same thing, yes. I also think the letter "E" was used to represent EE, but I can't remember the details.
