What kind of pet do you have?
I was thinking about some love birds but I've learned birds are messy.

I keep missing getting video, but my dog and cat have this awesome game. The cat lays on its back on the tile floor and the dog spins him around with his nose. It is too funny.

Thanks, Moon!
I'm an animal lover and currently have an American Eskimo dog, and a kitten. My cat died last fall and I recently adopted a kitten from the local Human Society. It's been quite the experience.
I've had dogs all my life, and have sheltered feral cat colonies, along with trapping, neutering, and releasing them. Most ended up in my house.

EFCO you sound talented. How did you get an Anole and a Savannah Monitor to bite you?

Over the years, I've had (daughter had) a chinchilla, turtle, hermit crab, and assorted dogs and cats. Once, we even raised monarch butterflies.

Mine punched me in the eye the other night. Thank goodness her claws were in because she got me while my eye was open. She packs a mean right hook.

i have had an albino california king snake and a mexican black kingsnake (aka a nigrita).. the nigrita was lost when my husband forgot to weigh down the lid to the tank (he was young and still able to get through otherwise).. . that was a beautiful snake...
it was the albino that bit me .. no real damage except for to my pride.

What's the benefit of this, other than freaking out guests?

what's so scary about a rose hair tarantula? they're very mellow... Scariness (subjective) aside, what are the benefits? Are they interactive? Do you let them crawl on you / roam your home? Is it fun to watch them kill prey? Do they know their names? etc.

What's the benefit of this, other than freaking out guests? Might be a good thing when the in laws visit.

I have 1 old lady cat, she's not really that old, around 6 years old, but she acts like an old lady. Nothing phases her...she's VERY laid back. I have the terror cat, she's almost 3 years old and she's a wild one. Then we have the little doggie, he's 1/2 pekinese & 1/2 shitzu.... a Shitznese! He's just a hair smaller than both cats and apparently his entire body is one giant target for the terror cat. It got so bad that the vet put terror cat on kitty prozac!
If you pet Miss O (terror cat) and she doesn't like it, she beats up the doggie. If her food bowl isn't just right, she beats up the doggie. If you wake her up from a nap, she beats the doggie. Try to make her do anything she didn't want to do, she beats up the doggie. So now she gets a kitty prozac pill on her "beat up the doggie" days. We've gotten it somewhat under control now. somewhat.....

. I'd be more interested in knowing if any of those pets survived.
