At my high school, everyone had to take an arts course - so *everyone* was in band or drama or choir or art. So there were definitely col kids mixed in among the band/choir geeks. -------------------------- I barely showed up when I was in high school. I was too busy playing chess with the McGill college students and smoking pot with their professors. My parents didn't care, as long as I made stright As. Actually, I'm pretty sure they didn't know.

Inner city schools tend to be less than stellar. They also tend to have outdated buildings that are expensive to repair, maintain or replace. Suburbs were built more recently so they have better facilities.
