dancinmama,
I think CVS did not have too many deals last year also, as far as I can recall. It was WAGs that had the Olay, Secret, centrum and a lot of other things which was fun to roll.

Oh ya, that's right. The Secret (body spray) was at WAGs. I remember getting Pantene or some kind of P&G shampoo at CVS that was a HUGE MM with a BOGO Q and there also was some kind of deodorant that was free (if I am remembering correctly).

Thank you everybody! I know that if it weren't for what I have stockpiled, I would be hating it. Last night we had a $9.55 chicken; I paid about $2.50 for it. We had instant mashed potatoes; I used 1 C. and paid $.37 for the whole box. I also opened a can of green beans; I paid $.25 for those.Oh, I am bummed to hear about this. I heard that there was some cracking down on coupon use but I didn't think it was this bad. My stockpile is pretty much gone so I don't know what I'll do now. I guess I'll have to ask for grocery store gift cards for Christmas and see if those last a while. I'll also try to talk DH into transferring his prescription around. I think they're still doing that. Now that he quit his job and is planning to be off for a while, he's been using restaurant coupons and book store gift cards and I even got him to join Swagbucks. So what restrictions do you have from you stores? I would like to know this too. I heard that there were changes while I was on coupon hiatus. Freesalsa I have 3 stores that double coupons, $.50 to a dollar. Kroger has changed their policy by allowing only 3 like coupons. Meijer has always been 2 of the same coupons that will double. Rite Aid has cut out the BOGOF Q on a BOGOF sale and also they don't allow use of 2 coupons on a BOGOF deal. Walmart DOES allow overage and I have been pretty lucky there lately, getting a lot of stuff for free, especially getting things I don't have coupons for. I try to go to the same cashiers who are "overage friendly" and know Walmart's coupon policy. Dollar General has been having a few $5.00/25.00 coupons. Using the Covergirl coupons there helped me get quite a few things for free. I earned quite a few UPs at Rite Aid lately and have been using them for groceries and canned items. I am way pickier to what I put in my cart unless it's a good moneymaker. If it's a MM, then I'll use rewards to buy things I need. Rubyslippers: Is this limit of 3 coupons at Kroger just your Kroger, or Krogers everywhere? I haven't been in the past two weeks, but the last time I went, I definitely had more than 3 of the same kind of coupon, and they all doubled (for the pillsbury 10/$10 sale).

pubbler - Thank you so much for the link to kids coats at the JCPenny site. We try to buy some every year to donate and we had been discussing how much more expensive they are this year. This really helped stretch our budget! Karma for you!

Kleenex Cool Touch (50 ct.) $1.50/Get $1.50 EB LIMIT 1
If you guys signed up on the Target site (I think) for the Kleenex cool touch samples, they came with a 40 cents Q. It's a MQ that expires in 2012.

CVS AVEENO BUY 2/GET $7 EB DEALDon't forget - if your store runs out of the .5 size that cost $1.49, just get a rain check and grab an ad so that you can cut out the deal and staple it right to the RC. I just got 2 rain checks - one for me and one for my mom. Now I'll have a $4MM in my hip pocket any time I need it. ;D

I believe that Krogers vary by region/state. I've not used a lot of coupons recently, but my Kroger in KY has never limited me on the use of coupons. Thank God!

I go to Kroger in IN - the only limitations I've noticed are on the e-Qs vs. paper Qs. If I have an EQ for $1 and a paper Q for $1, the paper one gets rejected - but if I have an EQ for $1 and a paper Q for $0.50, they'll both go through. I'm starting to learn which cashiers will just push the paper ones through regardless

973 Nearly ALL my independent stores (vs. natl chains) will not even take IP’s and the sale/shelf prices are MUCH better in those stores. NONE of the stores in my area double, EVER Only Walmart allows overage and even then I have to fight my way thru the cashier, the CS mgr and on up to the store mgr, even w/a copy of the coupon policy. I have been told NUMEROUS time that I had ‘made it up or altered it.” Next time I think I will insist they call the police since doing that would be fraud. I do need to supplement my retirement income. Dollar Tree and Big Lots do NOT take any coupons. I have had Big Lots refuse to take their OWN IP coupon.
Whomever I checked Meijer & Dominicks (Safeway) on Thur. Neither had any of the holiday flavor coffee-mate creamers.
Dancin On your CVS BF list: There is a $1 coupon for Colgate in the WAG diabeties winter magazine (available at the pharmacy)

I sent the DBF and DS. They had instructions to pretend not to know each other, go to two registeres, and feeling it out, possibly get 3 each. The DBF did his three while the boy watched (didn't want to get told no). The cashier then called the manager over who said "we've got plenty of stock and we get reimbursed by the manufacturer, I don't care how many times he does it." YAY So they "bought" a total of 30, paying for two, and have two remaining CATs. ;D

Geez, I'm not too excited about WAGs' BF ad. It doesn't really matter cuz I don't have any RRs either. AND after not having been to my WAGs in a while, I went in a couple of months ago and wanted to do the same deal twice and was told that all RR deals are limited to one per person per day, so I think some ECers have been clearing the shelves. It looks like all I'll be doing this year is CVS. I don't know whether to be bummed or relieved.

Dollar General: I'm not going to bet the house on it that Dollar General has 4 Bengays, but if they do, I'll buy 4 @ $4.75 and use 4 $5.00 Bengay MQ and the $5/25 Q to get something for $6.00. Thanks to Constanz who posted about the Bengay awhile ago. I did this the last time to get my total up to $20.00. I'm going to try to get more garbage bags with my free coupon.

Hound alert: If anyone has an extra LA Looks gel coupon they could spare, I could use one. We didn't get it in our inserts and I'm trying to put together a scenario for CVS Black Friday. Thanks in advance. It looks like I'll only be doing the CVS deals, especially after looking at Rite Aid's ad. I have to go to Rite Aid today as I realized I have $16.00 in UPs expiring today and they won't take any that are expired.
Reverse hound: I have an extra Benefiber coupon if anyone could use it.

I just read on HCW that they have the 34.5 oz Folgers for $7, which is a really good price these days. Would be almost free if you get 4 Bengay and the coffee with the 5/25 q. I'm not seeing much else that's interesting that we have good q's for right now...
