You're the one who has to decide on your finale, rdt, since it's you who keeps running back on stage after you've said your umpteeth "bye". Isn't scenery a little hard to chew?

Well, they ain't tied no more: nation.foxnews.com/herman-cain/2011/11/02/cain-jumps-7-point-lead-over-romneypoliticalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2011/11/02/poll-cain-pulls-ahead-of-romney/(CNN) - A new poll puts Herman Cain ahead of Mitt Romney by seven percentage points in the GOP presidential race, reflecting a margin wider than the sampling error. Cain and Romney competed for the top spot in national polls for much of October, but a Quinnipiac University Poll released Wednesday shows Cain breaking ahead to take a solid lead. Cain took 30% of support among registered Republican voters, according to the survey, with Romney following at 23%. The poll, taken almost entirely before reports emerged of sexual allegations against Cain, also reveals Cain leading in a hypothetical matchup against Romney, 47% to 39%. But Romney fared better than Cain in a hypothetical contest with President Barack Obama, scoring 42% to Obama's 47%. Cain came in at 40%, against Obama at 50%. Also significant, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich came in third with 10% of support, up from the mid-single digit status he's maintained in recent months. The poll reflects a recent uptick in fundraising for Gingrich, who touted bringing in more money in October than in the previous three months combined.

What is that old saying.... "Sex Sells"... ?? In the SF Bay Area we are being shut down by OWS in Oakland but yet the Radio Talk Shows out here are all over the Cain Sexual Harassment story and the consensus seems to be that there is more to this story and of course there is the comparison to Clarence Thomas who was also accused of sexual harassment and the conservatives rallied behind him

As of right now, they are accusations...nothing more. Show me the 'stained dress' and I will be convinced. Until then, this is simply a mud slinging media feeding frenzy to discredit the repub front runner. We're still innocent until proven guilty in this country.

They can't be Cain on the issues, so they're going to try to bog him down, and stop the momentum he's got with scandalous accusations. I've said it before- I'll repeat it: conservatives in this country are at the boiling point. They're mad as hell and this dirty tricks campaign is just firing them up. Now, I'm not a Cain guy to be clear. I think it's rather obvious who the most qualified candidate is by now. And I haven't fallen for the populist argument that not being a politician is a qualification.

They're mad as hell and this dirty tricks campaign is just firing them up.Perhaps, but it's conservatives who are behind the "dirty tricks" campaign. Just saying. Pls provide us with a source to backup your claim about conservatives who are behind dirty tricks Thanx, RDT

Read the news today. Perry's campaign is accused of leaking the sexual harrassment inuendo about Cain. Of course they deny it, and suggest that the Romney campaign may be to blame. Meanwhile: Adding to the din, a Republican pollster aligned with a pro-Perry PAC now says he witnessed inappropriate behavior first hand. "This occurred at a restaurant in Crystal City (Virginia) and everybody was aware of it," Chris Wilson told a local Oklahoma radio show. www.msnbc.msn.com/id/45138165/ns/politics-decision_2012/Is that the best you could come up with??? There may be nothing to that nonsense except finger pointing or passing the buck from Perry to Romney....you don't know if this is factual or just a lot of nonsense. Both the Perry Campaign and Romney Campaign both issed statements claiming they had nothing to do with the leaks about Herman Cain's sexual harassment issues So do you want to try again with one more credible

All true RDT. But I was responding to PBP's mention of dirty tricks. These are the only current dirty tricks on the trail that I am aware of. What else could he be referring to? I am not sure Demi...it is possible the leaker or leakers could be one of the ladies who filed the sexual harassment claims against Herman so we don't really know yet.. There is now a third woman who says she was sexually harassed by Herman Cain and who knows how many more will be coming out about this?? Apparently these rumors about Herman Cain's sexual harassment have been around for years BTW Speaking of dirty trick do you recall Congresswoman Louise Day Hicks in Massachusetts?? I worked for the guy who opposed her in her last campaign for congress

Look RDT, my point is that PBP implies that there are all sorts of "dirty tricks" being thrown at conservatives, by who else? Evil, mindless L-L-Liberals (shiver) that's who! I'm just saying- BS "Dirty Tricks" are just part of the poltical game and those who excell at this art or practice can often impact a campaign... I saw a mailer sent out by a Congresswoman in Massachusetts that not only won her the election but nearly destroyed her opponent who happened to be a close friend...and he could not sue her because she claimed it was sent out by one of her staff but nobody know who the so called staffer was.
