The article speaks for itself. It's another example of absolute arrogance. Absolute arrogance.. The kind that corrupts. Like so many things that have died on the vine before, this probably won't go anywhere either, but at least it is a sign that SOME people still have their wits about them and are not blinded by the halo.

The Americans for Legal Immigration PAC is calling for the impeachment of President Barack Obama for his involvement in the Operation Gunrunner scandal, as well as his recent edict instructing federal employees to establish a form of amnesty for illegal aliens in defiance of the Congress, existing federal laws, and the US Constitution.

Obama's ICE Director John Morton issued a memo on June 17th to all ICE Field Office Directors, Special Agents-in-Charge, and all Chief Counsel, authorizing them to decline to remove illegal aliens who meet the qualifications for amnesty under the DREAM Act Amnesty which Congress has rejected many times.

Congressional investigations have determined that Obama's ATF and Justice Department have been supplying assault weapons to the drug cartels that import most of America's cocaine, methamphetamine, and illegal immigrants.

And who knows, this may be the straw that broke the camels back and gets the country some badly needed "ethiical" attention.

I don't know, Paul. Part of me agrees with you, let him run his course, vote him out. BUT-- he still has a year and a half to run amuck, and there is no guarantee he will not be re-elected. I really do not think this country can take 4 more years of Obama. Did you see US drones are bombing in Somalia now?? 6 countries we are dropping bombs on now while we are in an economic meltdown. He needs to be stopped.

Trying to impeach the first black President will derail the near inevitability of his defeat.

We are screaming at light speed towards a defeat of historic proportions- on the substance of his ideas. Ideas that once defeated won't rise from the ashes for a long, long, long time.

We need to focus. This will distract.

Political capital MUST be spent controlling spending, REPEALING ObamaCare, and reforming welfare, medicaid, and entitlements.

BTW- I agree with the fact that these things are all true. Obama was a traitor from day one. All this tells us is that we have to be more careful how we govern. George W. Bush tee'd up the Obama presidency. And once elected, it's very hard (rightly so) to remove a sitting President. SO BE CAREFUL WHO YOU ELECT. That's the lesson.

Paul makes absolutely good sense, and a vote FOR Obama will be a vote for the country to continue on the road to insolvency. But there are those who would gamble on that, too.

On the other hand, if he wants to continue with his current stand on the debt ceiling and no spending cuts, (and I do mean spending CUTS), he will just be making his chances for re-election all the more remote.

But should it happen thathe is re-elected there will be ample tiome to pull out the stops on things like those covered in the OP.

i think it is so cool to see conservatives waking up to how interventionist we are! LOVE IT!

note to the board: we have utilized our military over (150) times since the end of WW2. that is an average of 2.5x per year. Obama is right on average, if we know everything, which we probably don't.

it is GREAT that people are no longer sleeping through it. i hope something meaningful is done to stop it. but since nobody seems to see that it is NOT OBAMA, but US foreign policy that is the problem, yet, i feel less than certain anything will ever be done.

It's easy to carp and complain over illegal aliens; however, when the question arises as to where the funds are to come from to combat this horror, too many become mute, or start pointing fingers at somebody ... anybody. The point is, it's going to cost up-front to get the structure in place to control incoming and arrange for outgoing. That's not happening.

How about the one they catch? If said college student breaks the law, is found to be here illegally he should be deported, just as when a task force is decided to do a sweep, and look for the "really bad guy illegal".

I will say though, I find it amusing that suddenly DOMA is cast as a "basic law" that we "depend on" particularly since Bill Clinton signed it into law. Funny how we managed to survive quite well without it.

I must admit: deliberately arming Mexican cartels to the teeth (even with the best of intentions) is something I'd never imagined wouldn't be considered treason.

But the track record of former US presidents isn't exactly stellar. Various programs armed the Afghans, the Pakistanis, the Iraqis, the Iranians, and now the Libyans, possibly the Syrians. Granted, there was the presumption of an alliance (or at least an "enemy of my enemy" dynamic) in these cases. Putting weapons into the hands of Mexican drug lords ex temere still seems reckless by comparison.

That might not be quite accurate..our Defense Industry can manufacture non military products and have been for severall years. Ron Paul has written on this subject if you want to visit his website and read what he has proposed for briniging home all of our troops within the next ten years and the Biilions saved...btw Barney Frank has endorsed Ron Paul's proposal...check it out if you are interested

Not saying we do , should , but do we really with draw from Asia?..Get rid of some Carrier groups, so very, very expensive, bases there, allow the power in the area to just fall where it will, most likely between China, India..forcing South korea, Japan, other South Asian countries to look toward one of the other nations mentioned as allies..they will, it will not continue with out a realigning of forces and nations.

Do we with draw from the Middle East..the oil is there, leave the Saudis, Iraquis , Gulf states to face Iranian influence alone? Possible Russia moves into the area again, they are not that weak..they are wealthy with energy and natural resources..enen a stronger military.

Do we with draw to a defensive us alone against the rest of the world?
