More like erroneously using statistics to come to the wrong [well, the conclusion they want] conclusion. They don't look at the actual finances behind it, nor do they look at it through the lens of a business; likely because most are ivory tower theorists with the absence of understanding how a business operates and makes decisions.

Taxes need to be cut much, much more than what Pawlenty is thinking of. I would say no more than a top 10% tax rate for the rich, and then you raise it as your income goes down (because lower income people consume more public resources they should pay more in taxes).

Sorry, but by the time Pawlenty finished his term as governor in MN, the state was deeply in dept. He didn't raise taxes, but many fees doubled, and the tobacco "trust fund" was spent. I'm still looking for a candidate who is actually good at handling money, and not someone who leaves the next generation in debt.

I think raising fees are fine as the middle class and the poor pay far more fees than the rich.
