Do you not think oil is a good long term play?

mowiss oil is priced in US dollars. So if the value of the dollar goes up oil can come down. Long term look for a weaker dollar and higher oil.

Seculation as well as risk management play here as well. 60-70 dollars per brl. is what the reflection should be. The arabs have stated this as well as Exxon. Furthermore if oil drops we are still banging our heads as the tolls in order to create the many things from oil rises as far as import/export. This all goes into the gov. and creative book keeping. Apply oil and foreclosures into the inflation factor correctly as they should be and you would see a off the wall inflation increase here in the states. Just mix this and add that and rebake this and that. Cookie jars, cookie jars.

Never hurts to sell and get some profit! I dont see oil going well over a $100 for several years.

mowiss, I am not surprised. You will make more as well. Here is some real fun food for thought for you, Henry Ford together with Thomas Edison invented an electric car 100 years ago! Gold & Silver will both go to way higher numbers as well. Food for thought is,here we are 100 years later. Spaceships,HAARP,Sats,etc.etc. But we could not steer away from the old gas guzzlers hey.

Hi all, was just wondering why if global demand is supposedly outstripping the supply, why is oil down? MoWiss, Well , that is because the Saudis are worried about re-newable energy taking market share..They want to lower the price of a barrel of WTI to 70-80.. As you know we have more Natural Gas then Oil or Coal.. It is just a mater of time to convert from gas to CNG.. It is cheaper and he is correct. ( the Crown Prince was on FT net about one month ago .. was a summary of what he said.Things like the conversion of methane to Diesel or Motor oil ( Mobil one).. become very economic at about $125/brl... ie someone else will make a lot of money.. Also that is about where the Algae-to-diesel returns about 25% profit!!! Just a thought, Bi Metal Au Pt Bruce aka Bi Metal Au Pt Attachments:

You butter that out all you like. The FACT remains, (#8 - mowiss, I am not surprised. You will make more as well. Here is some real fun food for thought for you, Henry Ford together with Thomas Edison invented an electric car 100 years ago!) Food for thought is,here we are 100 years later. Spaceships,HAARP,Sats,etc.etc. But we could not steer away from the old gas guzzlers hey. (end) All this is and has been is a controller of the world. Just think where things would be 100 years later with PERFECTION to astute inventors not infringed from copyright laws and the power of GREEN leading the way. This b.s. is no different that say, Solar Land Sits Empty. Big Companies Profit www.associatedcontent.com/article/5752514/senator_reid_helped_kill_wild_horses.html?cat=75

How about Thomas Davenport in 1835?? Thomas Davenport’S Electric Car - Presentation Transcript Thomas Davenport’s Electric Car Inventor’s Biography Thomas was born July 9, 1802 to a poor family in Williamstown, Vermont. He received 3 years of apprentice to a blacksmith when he was 14 years old. In 1831 Davenport went to Penfield Iron Works. He was amazed at the electromagnet that was created by Joseph Henry and was intrigued by this. That is when Davenport wanted to experiment with something alike on his own. In July 6, 1851 Davenport sadly died three days before his birthday. Electric Car Thomas Davenport invented the electric car in 1835. Thanks to this invention with electricity, it has helped improve the way of transportation by making it easier to transfer items and people themselves. The cost of batteries were to big and the transportation use of the motor was not yet practical. Even though his invention was only useful for a little while it helped improve our way of transportation in a major way. Years later, the electric car was improved by other inventors. Davenport’s electric car never caught on only because his batteries were not rechargeable . How about that's a good one to Bruce. And how about with all the BILLIONS now given into for research that we could have long passed this stage of the game years and years and years ago.
