If you read the article and it's opinions from Budget experts, get the impression that this isn't budget-cutting, it's more attacks on the hands that feed government-- the PEOPLE. You can look at the glass two ways... half full or half empty. Republicans look to cut funding to programs with growing needs, while funding problems like the military and a war that has no value to-- the PEOPLE. Common Sense dictates that we don't have a budget problem at all. We have a REVENUE short fall. Taking the jobs, livelihoods and income away from a huge chunk of the population instead of taking a sledgehammer to the financial sector IS-- the PROBLEM. Wiping out Wall Street, Wal-Mart and Stone Wall Politricking would be-- solutions that cause a forward motion and likely some recovery. I wholly believe there are drugged-up or entirely delusional people blowing smoke in the ears of our leaders- about printing money to outrun a collapse. We desperately NEED a collapse because it is followed by- a RECOVERY. The best part of the article is the SINISTER LOOK you can always count on John Boehner for. This guy is a moron and is so deeply in-debt to deep pockets that it isn't funny. WAKE UP, Ohio and get rid of this loser.

There is no question that prograsms need to be cut..however , if one reads the lst post on this thread..I read it, the minority party, they are, for the next two years they have one house in their control the majority party the other and the executive , is coming on and saying what will be , no "lets work on this." "spending for the military"...their saying a $800 billion department, known for waste, is off limits ? Are they just arrogant or are they nuts?

They (Republicans) are-- store bought. Basically, we have seen and know the extent of Stone Wall Politricking. Republicans, especially LOSERS like: Boehner, McConnell, Sessions, Shelby and a few others who JUST DON'T GET IT. Need to and quick. The next we hear from Boehner... it better be his announcement of the GREAT AMERICAN JOB CREATION AT FAMILY SUSTAINING WAGES... or his resignation. If you listened to CNN last night, the question was-- what ISSUES rank highest in 2011? JOB CREATION was the sole response. By the way... the NUMBER ONE entitlement that absolutely should be cut is-- PAYMENT to the likes of John Boehner for a job NOT DONE and an AUDIT to ensure no one is feeding him cash from any other means. If this guy was forced to live in a FEMA Trailer this summer, by Autumn we'd have JOBS and an advocate against BIG. Congress needs an EDUCATION not a cut to that program.

Jobs? What jobs? Are you talking about the government "jobs" that don't produce anything and were created out of thin air from some bill dreamed up by a useless idiot politician? Those "jobs" are gone Mr. VL. America needs real jobs and the only way to achieve that, proved time and time again, is for government to get the hell out of the way.
