I would say no, i have not been polled by a political pollster.
I have answered a few surveys at the mall many years ago, but I avoid the mall like the plague now.
Also asking if someone has been "polled" seems to be, lets say something that can be easily misconstrued.

Yes.
I have been cussed out - (Obama campaign, when asked if I thought he had what it took to be president) I simple stated other than Hope and Change I could find nothing exemplary in his back ground that would make even consider him for POTUS, and that if I was forced to vote for a democrat it would have been Richardson.
I have been hung up on - (3 times same caller, I actually called back twice and gave this interviewer quite an earful as well as team McCain when I took the recordings of the conversation to a local Meet and Greet)
I have been termed a baby killer - Because I hold no real feelings one way or another in regards to Abortion, It is a choice that one must make personally, I hold the opinion that if it is a husband and wife the husband deserves as much say in whether or not his wife should have an abortion. (Because they both made a joint decision to create the fetus/baby/conglomeration of cellular matter)
I have been labeled a choice denier - for all the same reasons I have been called a baby killer.
So yes I have taken a few polls on several different issues, If it doesn't bother my personal time, I will gladly take polls.

CME, what did you do to make a pollster hang up on you?
My questions were all multiple choice. I just gave my answers - no additional opinion. With the exception of one about my racial/ethnic background that I wasn't sure how to answer (I know that sounds odd).

Yes - several different telephone polls over the years. Some were with a live pollster and others were punch a phone key to respond to the question. The last poll I answered was live and conducted for our mayor, after which I was able to be connected to the candidate to ask questions.

I often get called by pollsters. I remind them I am on the Do Not Call list and even though they may be allowed to call, I don't want to hear from them. The good thing is the calls are live and I can cuss them out.

Well waffle,
It was last days before the election, hard push closes being done. I was asked if I was voting for Obama and I stated No, he has done nothing that shows to me he is ready for leading the country, at which point it was stated, "If you vote for McCain you will be voting to support the continuation of President Bush's policies" So I said GREAT, just what we need is another RINO in office who will spend like a drunken sailor then have to borrow cab fare to make revaly, at which point I was hung up, I called the direct dial number that was on CID and demanded to be placed back with the operator, after about 45sec she promptly hung up on me again, I called back and got conferenced in with her supervisor and herself, she hung up 11sec into the call (calling me several bad names with her super on the line)

living in one of the large underpopulated "flyover" states of the USA...yes you get a lot of calls by pollsters if your name is on voter registration lists. Doesnt matter which party affiliation or if you are an independant. On the other hand ,if you are so inclined, it is really easy to have a one on one conversation, in an uncrowded situation, with either of our two senators or our one represenative.
