It wasn't that bad having a holiday birthday this year because the dinner with Santa SUCKED. Totally not what I've come to expect from the zoo, it was very disorganized, my best guess is they put a volunteer who has never done a zoo function in charge before. Christmas Eve and Christmas totally made up for it. Didn't get a ton for my birthday, but my grandma did get me a very nice NON CHRISTMAS related sweater so that was a trade up from last year.  DH got me a necklace that is a "key to my heart" and says Mom in little diamonds on it. He totally knocked it out of the park this year.  |
