Yet more Israeli atrocities! Time for UN action that the US doesn't veto.

Be careful Ed. Your just going to confuse the issue of those "poor" oppressed people being shot by those wicked Israeli people who weren't give a chance while trying to wander across the border illegally. Those bad old Jews didn't even ask them if they wanted to be shot. To many facts can confuse those that make decisions with their hearts.
I'm not either for or against Israel to be frank but I do know that they are one of our strongest allies (or were before President Obama came into the picture). I will add now that I think about it "What the heck is wrong with their soldiers"? Each had multi shot rifles & yet people ran away? Sounds to me like someone was either hung over or someone else was able to out run a bullet.

OMG it just hit me that Deziloooooo could be right & the soldiers were told to not shoot some of them. Nope, the odds are just way to long on that pony. Deziloooooo hasn't been right yet.

"lefties like yourself who support the Hamas-backed Palestinian "cause". "....nope again, not at all and wrong again. "The world according to ed " is peddling BS again but keep trying, some day you wiill get one right. Dezi forgot, IMHO again. (Smileys not attaching?) There is a time and a place for IMHO, here, ed's post...not needed, a definite no brainer...ed wrong again, not even close so sorry, no IMHO needed. Thanks for the over site though, appreciate it, keeps me on my toes. Just as a point of information, there is discussion and some complaints as to the necessity of the use of deadly force in this situatuion coming from of all places ..Jeruselum, TODAY ...Israeli's..kind of what I was, am suggesting. So I guess Dezi isn't a lone leaf hanging on a maple in the middle of the winter..has some company on this one too.

This is a interesting article from Debka regarding Sundays border confrontation, regarding the demonstators being paid by Syrian security forces to demonstrate AND clip pieces of the fence for payment. If so, who knows. I am surprised the israeli's hadn't known of it and as I remember from back in the day, most units had one or two charecters, the scroungers. I am sure the Israeli's do too as all military orgnizations seem to have them and surprised one of them hadn't gone into business, cut pieces of barbed wire, set up shop along the wire fence , possible a white flag, let the word get out to the demonstrators, and sold the pieces of wire to the demonstrators, thus benefittting himself and the demonstarators. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Assad paid Golan demonstrators $1,000 apiece, but turnout scanty DEBKAfile Exclusive Report June 5, 2011, 10:39 PM Only hundreds - not thousands this time "Syrian President Bashar Assad's security machine is creaking judging by its failure to raise thousands of Palestinian and Syrian volunteers to brave the Israeli troops manning the Golan Sunday, June 5 - three weeks after his success in staging the first mass border incursion. debkafile's intelligence sources reveal that even the few hundred willing to turn out demanded a fee: $1,000 for every demonstrator who managed to cut a piece of razor wire from the Israeli border fence – and exorbitant fee in Syrian terms - and $10,000 for the families of volunteers shot by Israeli troops before they reached their goal. Syrian state TV reported 20 killed and 277 injured in clashes with Israeli border troops - figures which are not reliably confirmed. Assad's home front is sinking fast, which was why he tried to stage a piece of nation-cementing drama on the Israeli border. He hoped the Golan dead would outnumber the many hundreds killed in his three-month crackdown on the protest movement against his regime and is therefore likely to keep on trying. Sunday alone, scores died in Syrian tank-backed attacks on protesters in northwest Syria who are now using live fire against his troops. debkafile' sources report that Syrian security agents captured by protesters were hanged in broad daylight from electricity poles on city high streets Sunday, June 5, causing troops and police to flee in panic. "We are deeply troubled by events that took place earlier today in the Golan Heights resulting in injuries and the loss of life," the State Department said in a statement. "We call for all sides to exercise restraint. Provocative actions like this should be avoided. Israel, like any sovereign nation, has a right to defend itself," the US statement added"

Yet more Israeli atrocities! Time for UN action that the US doesn't veto. Israel Defense Forces will use force when you or I might not but remember we are not Israelis nor have we been subject to rockets and shots fired at us along the Golan Heights so I guess what I am tryng to say is you have to be in the moment to understand what is going on along the border fence...if the Israelis think there is a threat to them they will fire to kill ..and that is how they operate and could care less what you or I think.. Syria needs to do more to hold back the Palestinians along the Syrian and Israel border fence

No, Dez is no lone leaf. He is one of millions of American Jewish people that do not support Israel. No surprise, that. For a minute I had hope, Dez, for a minute a while back. Then you remembered that you are a progressive American.. and that was that.

PI terrorists by any other name. Personally, I think we should use the same tactics on the mexican border. See how fast we are condemned. We are talking live ammo against unarmed protestors. "Never again, unless we do it to someone else". Yep that is the motto of these terrorists.

The first condemnation would come from the U.S.
The smartest thing that we could do would be to take pictures of realistic dummies that look like they were shot. Have a few with a Border Patrol agent with one foot on their chest (& and a fake baby in the background). Drop those picture along the border & I'm betting the illegal immigration would drop by more than 50%. Of course it would pick back up when the word got out (with our government, no way would it be kept secrete) but it would be a start.

Oldtex, great idea. Only takes a few enterprising border agents and a camera. Why bother admitting anything? Sorta like the Ace of Spades in the Nam era.

My cousin is in the Border Patrol but has transfered to our "other" border. It's colder than hell but at least he can buy great beer. Oh & he actually got to know some of the illegals because he caught them so often. (I'm guessing they weren't the smart ones).

You post a thought / attack on me...of how and what I am which is false. Who are you to know me?
I answer you and explained to have questions on a policy of what ever does not mean one is against those who are making decisions one questions, or disloyalty to them either, just that intelligent people can disagree, or not even disagree, just question, pose ideas that may not have been done and weren't.
"I'm ignorant? " my post: "Your back to your ignorant posts again Krickett" no post saying you are ignorant..your posts, another story.
You again show you never read and think IMHO, of what is posted, just react...and you did it again. You have no problem attacking but if the answer back to the attack , the post doesn't suit you..off to the ...Grow up already Krickett your complaints are getting old...is that attack or just a observation? Observation me thinks , definitly a "right on" observation. IMHO

This was a start. Are you planning to address Dezi's 100 or so other posts where he similarly insults krickitt, me, marshabar or henryclay? I can point you in the right direction if you would like to start reading...

Ahh yes, Darwinism.
And isn't it just SO interesting how close this came to Obama opening his ignorant, ill-informed, big mouth on Israel and its borders? Pure coincidence, no doubt.

No ameiko , it is held, the demonstrations , yearly, to commemorate the evening/day so many Palastinians left the territory back in 1948...just before the war for independence started, thus the beginning of the refugees . This year is different in intensity, "Arab Spring ", the merging and togetherness of Hamas and Fatah...Since the Israeli's were not happy with Obama's speech, the Palastinians and Arabs were not happy with Obama's speech..see they agree something, seems "his ignorant, ill-informed, big mouth on Israel and its borders? " had nothing to do with anything, want to try again. You get three strikes, your down to two.
