From the goofy right wing website ABC NEWS: Jobs lost since Obama took office: 2,500,000 Unemployment spiked over 9.1% again last week after the economy added a paltry 54,000; and the economic growth number for Q1 was revised down to 1.8% blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2011/06/president-obamas-non-acknowledgment-of-todays-jobs-report.htmlOh, and as far as the myth of a 'rebound' in the auto industry...here's the reality check on that: How Government Motors stock has performed since the big post-government bailout stock offering:

Good luck turning that around in time for the election. People WITH money can afford to sit on it and wait for better times. This is what happens when a country decides to hate the rich. Giving out free stuff to people that don't deserve it or know what to do with it hasn't worked out so well. There is a lot of money out there that isn't going to suck up to Obama's "vision" like the unions are, and I don't think the entire country can be hired by gov't or unions... pretty good proof of that. All the Obamacare exemptions, etc, available won't help the Obama supporters keep producing as long as there is no consumer for the product. Of course there are PLENTY of consumers for the gov't "products", but good luck keeping an economy going comprised of "takers."

We are plain old working class people and we have managed to do really well under this system. I've never felt like the tax system took all we had and still don't. Even before hubby worked overseas we would have been ok. But we never felt we had to have it all, nor used credit, and we lived within our means and still do. Each of us needs to have our own house in order before we can judge or tell others what to do. Agreed, which is why it is laughable that losers like Obama, Pelosi, Geithner, Reid and the rest of the government pirates try to tell us how to live our lives. They know jack about fiscal responsibility...

Obama Ignores Disasterous Jobs ReportNot true he plans to talk about this when he plays a few rounds of golf with John Boehner.....Obama says it is just a bump in the road and not that bad....if you don't have a job it is more than a bump but a depression TARP and Obamacare are not working but have the opposite effect of stimulating job creation only 54,000 jobs created last month.. Not good at all if we want to lower the 9% unemployed rate and rising. We need to see @ 2500,000 jobs created each month for the next several months if Obama wants to get elected IMHO

Hard to notice any thing with your foot in your mouth and your head up your a$$ . You must not have heard of our VP Joe "Big F****** Deal" Biden You may not of noticed recently that Joe Biden the famously long winded & gaffe prone VP has been BSing about transparency but Obama has him in the Witness Protection Program because local journalists want access to the Biden fund raising events and they have been excuded..in Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, and Denver..

tough-- do you remember what happened to the banks when they tried to go against Fanny and Freddie loaning? I do. I do. I was in Englewood (Chicago) when the corrupt ACORN group Obama used to agitate, er...um..I mean "organize" for would "protest" a bank branch when some deadbeat who happened to be a minority deadbeat was denied a loan. They'd call it "redlining" and they'd camp out in the lobby, intimidate bank personnel, and generally trespass, vandalize, and disturb the peace-- unmolested by the Chicago PD.

You're confusing "Acorn" with Freddy and Fannie. Freddy and Fannie allowed Wall Street to turn mortgages into a variety of marketable securities and these securities lined the pockets of some of the wealthiest people on earth before the big crash. Trust me, it wasn't a bunch of street urchins with coal streaked faces who gathered up all the gelt. Anyone involved at the top of Freddie and Fannie should be in jail. They screwed themselves as well . Greed will bite you in the butt every time.

Yeah, the new McDonalds workers thank the POTUS for their new jobs, and the food stamps and free medical they qualify for by working for minimum wage.. and, oh-- day care... more than they even make in a week.... add it all up and it equals= an Obama voter in 2012.

Just a few modifications: Congress & Senate allowed Wall Street to turn mortgages into a variety of marketable securities that were originated by the GSEs, Freddie & Fannie and these securities lined the pockets of some of the wealthiest people on earth before the big crash , along with some of those same members of Congress & Senate, like Frank & Dodd for example, that allowed these entities to go unchecked and got former lovers executive jobs at these firms.Let's not pretend that one side is more guilty than the other. I haven't even gotten into the fact that the US printed money as fast as it could come off the press, allowing for the expansion of the housing bubble. Kind of like a chicken / egg argument. Without the flow of money, nothing else would have transpired. Ergo, all bad originates from the government!

If they work over 30 hrs/week, they don't qualify for food stamps OR medicaid. This is not disastrous, it's one month with Tsunamiin Japan, horrible weather in midwest, etc. Thanks of course to the pubs, who as leaders of the house are supposed to offer bills, have offered ZERO jobs bills and continue paralyzing the gov't. Thaks also for the 24/7/365 gloom and doom propaganda machine, and pub corporate and financial CEOs sitting on record profits and refusing to hire. A giant de post facto conspiracy to stifle the recovery till Nov. 2012. Real scum. And of course the silly sheep. CEOs

Yet the people who should not have jobs- CEO's and traders in the financial sector- still do. Not even a thank you and so on to steal what little the average person has left. People that should be in jail are instead still behind giant desks and their spoils are safe. Yes- it is the governments fault, which is run by the financial sector, so it is really their fault X 2.

And yet we saved them from the consequences of their own actions- how free market of us. They should not have a job to go to. They should have all went bankrupt and many of them forced to disgorge their ill-gotten gains- but I guess that can't happen when the government is populated by their former executives. It is going to take heads on pikes to fix this.
