My recommendations is to be careful when you have friends over to sing karaoke. Make sure they are into it before you spend hours and hours singing away.

Or make sure you give them enough drinks so they will join in.

William Shatner doing Rocket Man is the best for karaoke. Learn it, perfect it, love it.

We went to Best Buy and picked one out for our girls that "we" liked based on features and price (we didn't know if they would use it or not). I have no idea if it is the best or not, but the girls sure like it. I don't even remember the brand anymore.
It does have dual jacks so more than one microphone can be used at a time. It has a jack to be hooked up to the TV. It also has a screen on it to be used independantly. Plus it has a camera on it so you can watch yourself sing (either on the machine or on the TV).
If we were to do it all over again, I would do it the same way.
