What is going on this way is we have a packed house and more are coming in to pack it. That is Union reps and those that follow them that are looking to secure what future they thought they had after all of these years. I say after all of these years because Somebody forgot to tell those that were relying on pensions as prime example are not looking good. As they should have told them years back that their cake was holding up other things but not being replaced. Hell, maybe it was never there to start gdgyva. Yes I am aware that people have been collecting all the same.
The table turned for the worse and now as these masses are figuring it out, well they seem to think that drawing their cake from the banks and credit unions is a good idea. Kinda a, 'well show you thing.'
I am just watching and following along as I have said time and time again.

One thing is for sure. People were voted in (supposebly, and I say that due to high tech computer programs and campaing contributions in which we have shown and discussed and how everybody really got to where they are, well who really knows) and they do have a job to fulfill.

I just would have worded your sentence another way

As i wrote in another thread....the aging population is a problem for all these states. They never figured in all their actuarial tables that people may live longer, that the economy may tank taking revenues with it, and that it would all happen at once

Changes are going to come....i agree there....just think that most will accept the reality that states cant afford what they used to be able to afford

Actually on the ice yesterday there were a few pension people (3 in all that I met). Only 1 out of 3 said they would not mind giving in a little. The other two had everything but to say.
We will see what the people do. I certainly can not speak for the majority of their decisions.

No choice in this currency battle now but for the paper press to continue running strong. While it keeps it's trend upward (according to the FOREX report today) expect no more than to gld/slv to continue to keep pace. You may see a small drop but or idle in the metals but that will be due to relaxing paper price.
