Too many people on the right and left seem to have issues with how people look, ie. She's too good looking for politics, just there for eyecandy, or uglier than run over dog, if it was dark and we meet I'd scrape out my eyes on the first sight of her.
What people need to focus on is the ugliness of voting records and the intentional misinformation that each side chooses to spout. Fibbing, Streaching the truth, Intentional Fact distortion, Omission are all different names for one thing, Lies. And the more people who follow the lie as truth the truer it becomes.

After the Dems ran the TV ad with the Paul Ryan lookalike pushing the old lady off a cliff, their credibility was permanently gone...

She looks like the crazy lady (Sharon Stone) in whatever that movie was where she stalked Michael Douglass and boiled the rabbit. I think that was Glenn Close, not Sharon Stone. But creepy none the less.

Well it is comon place for a politician to intentionally lie and then claim they were miss quoted or errerd in stating the facts after the damage is done.

She really doesn't need to embellish- the plan sucks on its face and screws everyone under 55 out of the benefits they have been paying for. Sure- the insurance companies will be required to offer coverage to all seniors regardless- but at what price? That is the real issue- making Medicare unaffordable for people-as it will do- is realisticly the same thing as denying coverage. No thanks. It is funny to see the death panel republican liars criticizing a democrat for using their own tactics. The only difference is that the democrat reform plan actually helps people whereas the republican plan throws them under the bus.

What Democrat plan has been introduced to deal with medicare? I was referring to the republican attacks on the reform bill which does a lot of good to the democrat attack on the ryan plan, which is a giant F U to those of us under 55. As far as a democrat plan to fix Medicare, the only one I am aware of that would do it is HR676. thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/bdquery/z?d112:HR00676:@@@pThe health insurance lobby will never allow this so it is a pipe dream.

Just like every idea the democrats have for "fixing" SS: screw the younger generations. Yeah they are so for "the people" - except the ones they want to screw over and steal more money from to give to 'the people"

Demise of medicare is going to happen whether Americans support it or not if drastic changes are not made soon.

Well of course we know what Democrats want to do to fix it: raise the Medicare tax - steal more of people's money and continue to waste it!!!! That's their solution to everything, you know...

Those will be the demise of the U.S, not Medicare.

Name a ponzi scheme that has worked? SS & Medicare are going to bring the US to its knees. SS/medicare are necessary and I do not believe they will bring our country to its knees. On the other hand, Corporate welfare, the military industrial complex, are difficult to sustain and I think they have more potential to bring us down than SS and Medicare do.

Hmmm... sounds like some people don't understand what a ponzi scheme is. Social Security is NOT a Ponzi Scheme“Anyone who tells you Social Security is a Ponzi scheme either doesn’t understand what a Ponzi scheme is or their mother’s didn’t teach them not to fib. This myth is a favorite of conservatives who just hate the idea of social insurance in general. The Social Security Administration has a good history describing why this is nonsense. Social Security is not a Ponzi scheme. Social Security is a pay-as-you-go system with the contributions of today’s workers going to today’s retirees or into the reserve to pay benefits to future retirees. The ratio of workers to retirees has changed over time, but unless this nation allows the system to be abolished, there will never be a time of no workers paying into the system. The most recent report of the Social Security Board of Trustees forecasts that even with no changes in the system, reserves will last through 2041 and even after that, 75% of promised benefits could be paid with incoming payroll taxes. And don’t give any credence to the nonsensical comparison that in 1940 there were 40 workers to each retiree and today it is only three to one. Of course, there were fewer beneficiaries. 1940 was the first year a benefit was paid so millions of then-retired workers didn’t have the opportunity to contribute payroll taxes and earn benefits. Many of those ineligible for benefits in 1940 then relied on public assistance or their children to survive their retirement years. Hardly the “good old days” those who hate Social Security should be so eager for us to return to.” www.ncpssm.org/entitledtoknow/?p=345Ponzi Schemes vs. Social Security Social Security is and always has been either a "pay-as-you-go" system or one that was partially advance-funded. Its structure, logic, and mode of operation have nothing in common with Ponzi schemes or chain letters or pyramid schemes. The first modern social insurance program began in Germany in 1889 and has been in continuous operation for more than 100 years. The American Social Security system has been in continuous successful operation since 1935. Charles Ponzi's scheme lasted barely 200 days. More: www.ssa.gov/history/ponzi.htm
