Aren't most dress coats dry clean only? I'm pretty sure it looks much better than the pink fleece or the navy blue golf windbreaker that I have been using for a spring coat. Yes, but swamp, you probably don't look like you need a hot shower and zpack. [/quote IGGY

DH wants us to burn $300 and a trip to Florida to see 3 of his fav bands at a festival. I'm still debating. I'd like to do it for him, but I wouldn't enjoy it much. It would be something he'd remember for a lifetime though, so I'm leaning towards going. It is important to live a little :-) Hope you had a good time!

Wow, now I don't feel so bad about spending $130 to go see They Might Be Giants.

Kid Rock? Pssh! I bet you're seeing Poison and Motley Crue this summer as well, aren't you? I am!! You must be clairvoyant. But those tickets are cheap! What over-the-hill 80's hairband tickets are cheap?? Surely you jest.... :-)

And I enjoyed every second of it. Oh, I also went out to dinner before the concert, and went shopping and bought a leopard print trench coat. Flame me. Nope. If you have your needs covered, then do anything you want with what is left. Life is short, enjoy it.

Fortunately, I live in a city where concert tickets are cheap. I can afford to pay a lot but there's a principle and I refuse to support increasing prices. I love live music and even though concert tickets are cheap, it starts to add up. So, I will call the radio station until I win free tickets. $500 sounds really steep for Kid Rock. I hope that included several tickets, a bunch of beers and a few concert t-shirts.

I hope that included several tickets, a bunch of beers and a few concert t-shirts. Kid Rock's playing at the Marcus Amphitheater on 7/3/11 and "Tickets, which include Summerfest admission - $33 for lawn seats, $48 for bench seats, $58 for yellow seats and $73 for red seats(covered), excluding box office or Ticketmaster fees - go on sale at noon April 9 at all Ticketmaster outlets" so yeah, $500 seems high to me too. Summerfest is a 10 day music festival held on Milwaukee's lakefront every summer. There's like 7 different stages on the grounds. Your general admission ticket gives you access to the entire grounds, except the Amphitheater.
