Have not heard any 500 news since the race end. Did not notice anything in the replay. Felt real bad for the rookie, what can you say. Controversy? What have you heard?

I've heard grumblings from some NASCAR fans that there should have been a caution when the rookie hit the wall, and then he would have won under caution.
past that, I also feel badly for the rookie. he had an excellent race, and he'll definitely do well in his racing career.

I'm not really a race fan, but have heard people complaining that a similar situation happened back in 2002 (I think) where there was a ruling that the caution automatically starts when the crash happens and it doesn't matter when the caution light comes on. I just saw an article that had the heading of a controversial finish in the Indy 500, and read some of the comments. I thought I'd ask those on this board that are more in tune with the race world they I am, what they thought.
