We're planning to fly down in a couple weeks - for either a long weekend, or a week! Has anyone been to Tenerife? Recommendations for what to see/do, where to stay?

Snow? Aw, geez...that's brutal! Sunshine and blue skies here in Germany this afternoon, but I'm still craving the beach!

I'm planning to go in September. Ryan Air does cheap flights to Tenerife. I'm looking at a few different hotels and villas on booking.com.
What part of Germany are you in?

Ryan Air does AWESOME flights - you're right about that! We were looking at flights from Karlsruhe to Tenerife for 11 euro (~$15)each way... I'm in the Stuttgart area, so the drive to Karlsruhe isn't bad at all. Where in Germany are you?
