After revising last week's jobless claims number upward from 409,000 to 424,000-- the state controlled press, and the Obama regime are still pretending to be miffed by the stubborn jobless numbers and anemic 1.8% growth in GDP (which no doubt will be revised down in coming weeks). But my favorite part of these stories is the rampant use of 'unexpectedly' by the press. It's fantastic. Follow it, and count its uses in every story about the anemic Obama jobless recovery... What would be truly 'unexpected' is a sudden turn around... www.cnbc.com/id/43179580

You can file that under "expected" since Florida is one of the states open for business thanks to a conservative Republican leadership.

We still have $4 Billion in Stimulus finds avaiilable, many of them was because it takes time to do the studies, permits, hearings to go through, lots of road construction, badly needed, ex 95 south, south Florida, heavy, heavy traffic ..and other such. Also education too, though layoffs of 1400, there was a big article in paper last week. Hopefully it will help out on the unemployment and the Goverbnor will not give back, he doesn't like Stimulus, he actually doesn't like much of anything if the truth was known.[sigh]

It is CLEAR from the posts slamming Florida on this board, and the links provided, why Florida is making a comeback. Good for Florida!!! Molly, friend.... sorry. Nothing else to say to my several board friends in CA.

I'm zone expert on NOTHING, but I do live in AZ, and I do try to keep up with the problems that directly affect me since I live in AZ. Fact is the more some states like AZ and FL fight, the broader the problem will become across the USA, so everyone in between should keep up.
