29 out of 33 Hey, that Poly Sci Major finally came in handy. Did you all notice this (below) Full Civic Literacy Exam (from our 2008 survey) Are you more knowledgeable than the average citizen? The average score for all 2,508 Americans taking the following test was 49%; college educators scored 55%. Can you do better? Questions were drawn from past ISI surveys, as well as other nationally recognized exams.

How is a question about Plato and Socrates on the US Government history exam? Did we base everything on their brain power or something?
Also, the profit calculation - US Government?

That Warsaw say's it all. Can you show me exactly where in the Constitution you see a "wall of seperation" Because I read my pocket one and I can't find it.

I wondered that too........ I know that a lot of modern political thought (for example, Locke) was based upon the political philosophies of Plato and such, and while it was nice to revisit my political philosophy classes, ... I have nothing.

The actual wording of the constitution is that there shall be no laws regarding an official religion, which has been interpreted by the courts to mean that the government shall not promote one religion over the other, which is how we get stupid laws taht require a menorah in a creche scene. It never actually says "separation of church and state."
