From Rush Limbaugh's radio show yesterday:
And Americans are going to make a different choice in 2012 than Obama. There's no way he goes into 2012 defending this stuff-- even if gas prices come down, even if he manages to get unemployment down below 8%-- his policy decisions are indefensible.

And yet another example of Rush's disturbing use of hyperbole. A comment I found when googling. I bet Rush chooses to forget Bush AND Obama supported TARP and the car maker bailouts. The car companies asked for help, and President Bush specified that they had to have a viable plan to operate by the end of march. people seem to have forgotten that, so this is another "Obama did it" campaign. Does this mean Bush chose socialism too! I'm not up on the latest and greatest fearmongering but why should the federal government whatever the political stripe, be messing with state politics? WTE? "Obama chose voter intimidation over civil rights when he chose not to prosecute the New Black Panthers in Philadelphia."

And the public, given what they thought was an alternative- took it. Since then, since it is obvious that we can't trust the Republican establishment, nor the whole of the Democratic Party-- we've made a right turn and that's what birthed the TEA Party, and that's what drove 2010, and that's what will drive 2012.

"Bush and Obama are the same"
On this we agree. On the rest, not so much.

Obama can't run on his record. That's why he is already slamming all Republicans running, even investigating Christie, who is NOT running.. just in case.. guess he will try to eliminate all but one he feels he can certainly beat. Too bad the people that will not vote for Obama won't be swayed. If nothing else, Romney will outlast him.

The man is politically dead. When a Democrat President has to give a rah rah speech designed to keep the Irish vote in the fold-- you know it's over.

Christie is the best governor NJ has had since Tom Kean.

Yep, and Obama is scared to death of Christie.

Today, the President transmitted the FY 2011 Budget to the Congress. www.whitehouse.gov/blog/2010/02/01/introducing-2011-budget Actually, it's not the President's responsibility to submit a budget- so, I'll give you this point. The 2011 budget was due in October of 2010, however, when Democrats controlled the House. Democrats failed to produce a budget because they knew how politically unpopular it would have been. When Obama finally did submit the budget to Congress it was politically driven because Ryan submitted his budget first, and Republicans drove the issue. Obama's budget contains a projected $1.67 trillion in borrowing, though-- so that means it's no budget at all.

From Rush Limbaugh's radio show yesterday: That's as far as I needed to read. Next.

... Actually, it's not the President's responsibility to submit a budget- so, I'll give you this point. ... Well actually: The President, according to the Budget and Accounting Act of 1921, must submit a budget to Congress each year. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_budget_process I am not sure what "point" you are giving me. I proved that Rush was simply wrong about President Obama not producing a budget. He fulfilled his legal responsibility.

www.theblaze.com/stories/meet-the-white-houses-new-story-squasher-director-of-progressive-media/GOVERNMENT MEET THE WHITE HOUSE’S NEW STORY SQUASHER & ‘DIRECTOR OF PROGRESSIVE MEDIA’ Posted on May 24, 2011 at 9:40am Just so you know, your tax dollars are now paying for a “director of progressive media & online response” within the White House. Translation: a dedicated enforcer and story squasher that loves the liberal media. “This week, Jesse Lee will move from the new media department into a role in the communications department as Director of Progressive Media & Online Response,” Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer said in an internal memo provided to The Huffington Post. “For the last two years, Jesse has often worn two hats working in new media and serving as the White House’s liaison with the progressive media and online community. Starting this week, Jesse will take on the second role full time working on outreach, strategy and response.” How does HuffPo take that? “The Obama administration has created and staffed a new position tucked inside their communications shop for helping coordinate rapid response to unfavorable stories and fostering and improving relations with the progressive online community.” MORE

When did blogs become news for people? Right around the time the Fourth Estate forgot whose side they were supposed to be on.

Consider the Hare Psychopathy Checklist, factor 1 for "Agressive Narcissism", a standard diagnostic tool used in psychology/psychiatry to diagnose societal psychopathy:
Glibness/superficial charm Grandiose sense of self-worth Pathological lying Cunning/manipulative Lack of remorse or guilt Shallow affect (genuine emotion is short-lived and egocentric) Callous/lack of empathy Failure to accept responsibility for own actions
Anything look familiar there?
