Ok, will someone google this and tell me if it's "safe"? I'm on my son's laptop...

"Oil pulling or oil swishing, in alternative medicine, is a traditional Indian folk remedy that involves swishing oil in the mouth for claimed oral and systemic health benefits. It is mentioned in the Ayurvedic text Charaka Samhita where it is called Kavala Gandoosha / Kavala Graha.[1] It is also used to reduce enamel wear from stomach acid in hangovers and bulimics."

I've been down with a sinus infection, so tried it today and don't know if it's my imagination or not, but feel soooo much better today. Just wondering if anyone else has done it and felt better.

Wow, I think they need a different term for this. How is it to make you feel better?

I did it for a little while. Let me tell you - Mobile 1 is the best tasting (I prefer 5W-30, but that's because I'm watching my weight).

My Naturopath suggests drinking a tsp. of Apple Cider Vinegar in a glass of water twice a day to help with sinus issues. I'm not sure which is worse, drinking vinegar or swishing oil.
BTW: What type of oil?

Wow, I think they need a different term for this. How is it to make you feel better? It's suppose to draw out the toxins in your body, especially metals.

BTW: What type of oil? Sesame and one drop of Oil of Oregano The vinegar hasn't worked this time, so trying something new.
