Others may have seen this. It looks like something that would be sent out viral. I got it from my daughter who works in the medical care field as a trauma nurse and ambulance service provider. She says the medical care people are primarily against the bill because it does exactly the opposite of what the proponents of the bill claim. Specifically, through the mandates put on them that they would never independently consider, which primarily do nothing for patient care while giving government more unnecessary legal intrusion authority, with the result of escalated costs while the quality of health care necessarily diminishes on account of having to meet the unrelated legal demands in the bill. In short, they hate it. To be fair, I don't agree with some of the points the article makes, but I can't factually dispute them so I am posting the article ver batim as it came to me. The highlights probably won't come trough and post. YOU ARE NOT GOING TO LIKE THIS: Obama Care Highlighted by Page Number THE CARE BILL HB3200
THIS IS THE 2ND OFFICIAL WHO HAS OUTLINED THESE PARTS OF THE CARE BILL
Judge Kithil of Marble Falls , TX - HB3200 highlighted pages most egregious
Please read this........ especially the reference to pages 58 & 59
JUDGE KITHIL wrote:
** Page 50/section 152: The bill will provide insurance to all non-U.S. residents, even if they are here illegally.
** Page 58 and 59: The government will have real-time access to an individual's bank account and will have the authority to make electronic fund transfers from those accounts.
** Page 65/section 164: The plan will be subsidized (by the government) for all union members, union retirees and for community organizations (such as the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now - ACORN).
** Page 203/line 14-15: The tax imposed under this section will not be treated as a tax. (How could anybody in their right mind come up with that?)
** Page 241 and 253: Doctors will all be paid the same regardless of specialty, and the government will set all doctors' fees.
** Page 272. section 1145: Cancer hospital will ration care according to the patient's age.
** Page 317 and 321: The government will impose a prohibition on hospital expansion; however, communities may petition for an exception.
** Page 425, line 4-12: The government mandates advance-care planning consultations. Those on Social Security will be required to attend an "end-of-life planning" seminar every five years. (Death counseling..)
** Page 429, line 13-25: The government will specify which doctors can write an end-of-life order.
HAD ENOUGH? Judge Kithil then goes on:
"Finally, it is specifically stated that this bill will not apply to members of Congress. Members of Congress are already exempt from the Social Security system, and have a well-funded private plan that covers their retirement needs. If they were on our Social Security plan, I believe they would find a very quick 'fix' to make the plan financially sound for their future."
Honorable David Kithil Marble Falls, Texas
All of the above should give you the point blank ammo you need to support your opposition to Obamacare. Please send this information on to all of your email contacts. Will You Ever Sell Your House?
Did you know that if you sell your house after 2012 you will pay a 3.8% sales tax on it?
That's $3,800 on a $100,000 home etc.
When did this happen? It's in the health care bill. Just thought you should know.
SALES TAX TO GO INTO EFFECT 2013 (Part of HC Bill)
REAL ESTATE SALES TAX
So, this is "change you can believe in"?
Under the new health care bill - did you know that all real estate transactions will be subject to a 3.8% Sales Tax? The bulk of these new taxes don't kick in until 2013 If you sell your $400,000 home, there will be a $15,200 tax. This bill is set to screw the retiring generation who often downsize their homes. Does this stuff make your November and 2012 vote more important?
Oh, you weren't aware this was in the obamacare bill? Guess what, you aren't alone. There are more than a few members of Congress that aren't aware of it either

Why am I sending you this? The same reason I hope you forward this to every single person in your address book because you can make a difference

Yep I've read about these things too...another great example of Democrats forcing through crap that they didn't even read. And now they have to defend it because they agreed to it...of course, why wouldn't they agree to it? IT DOESN'T AFFECT THEM!

When a site that is alleged to be independent and reliable opens with apologetics, it's really hard to keep reading: Right. And this would be true of EVERY OTHER BILL introduced in Congress. It's irrelevant and tees up the tone of the rest of the article.

Actually,it opened up with this---"-Most of what the e-mail says is wrong. In fact, it's a clearinghouse of bad information circulating around the Web about proposed health care changes, so we thought it would be helpful to address a bunch of its claims. "

There are several posts that purport to refute the OP, but I don't anything more than links. The OP doesn't have a single link, but has many points, with page numbers from the place the points originate in the bill and it gives credit for the source of those points. , , , a judge. I wonder if any of the people who disagree with any of the judge's points can post anything useful in rebuting any of the claims he makes in the OP.

Gotta love those forwarded e-mails, the gullible grab it up like candy each and every time. Sorts the wheat from the chaff rather quickly.
