I think it's between Vick and Brady this year. I have to go with Vick since I see him as a more dangerous weapon for his team. I'm not saying Brady isn't playing great, just thinking that Vick is the better candidate this year with what he has been able to do.

Brady. Brady. Still Brady. Did I mention Brady? BTW -- Brady. And if you couldn't tell, I would vote for Brady. (Even if he does need a haircut!) Must be a NE fan....Brady was it? I don't have an issue with anybody voting for him though. I think Brady deserves more consideration this year than the year he threw the most TD's...personally I thought Moss deserved more recognition that year. I only say that because how can one WR get 23 of the 50 TD's you throw and that WR not get any consideration for MVP? It was the play of Moss that year which opened up the opportunities for the other WR's underneath. I think the MVP voting is unfairly geared toward QB's.

Thank you very much!! I am currently sitting on the couch and watching both Mannings play (is it terrible of me to want them both to lose?) Not if you also wanting the Jags to win too.

I do want the Jags to win! I think this is already my favorite weekend of the year -- between yesterday's Bowl games and today's "what if" scenarios. I just love me some football! I can be ok with that...unfortunately the Texans are being explosive today in their running game, which they've done at times all year. It is looking like the Colts are in...it wasn't a good day for the Jags to not have their starting RB or their starting QB.

I didn't realize that P. Manning was that close to having the most completions by a QB in a season...I guess he has that record now too. I still don't see him in the MVP talk and will stick by the first two I mentioned in the OP (Brady and Vick).

I'm going to go with Brandon Lloyd. Other than Tim Tebow, he was the only reason to watch the Broncos this year......

As an Eagles fan, I'm going to say...Brady for MVP.
Tough to deny with what he has done this year and the crew he did it with. 36 pass TDs [37 total TD] / 4 ints / 1 fumble with 3900 yards - that's just unbelievable. The guy went 11 straight games without an interception!! Peyton can barely go 11 minutes without an interception, and he had 2 games this year where he had 4 ints in each game.
Brady threw his 4 ints in 2 games this season [against NYJ and BAL], meaning he threw no interceptions in 14 out of the 16 games this season.
And while I'm not a fan of the hair either, you've got to tip your cap to any guy whose comeback is "Gisele likes it". Your opinion means a bit less than the supermodel wife of his that he's hittin it with. Almost as impressive as the stats above.

And I'm sorry, I can't forgive Vick for the dog thing. I don't want him executed like Tucker Carson does, he's done his time. But I don't have to like him or vote for him. I hate that the Eagles have done so well with him. Yeah, it's nice to be in the playoffs when it was supposed to be down year with Kolb, but I just don't want Vick on my team. The man has done his time and maybe learned something, but then he opens his mouth and pisses me off all over again.

You brought his name up in a prior post. But, it was a good way to put into perspective, Brady's feat of just 4 interceptions in an entire year to one of the best QB's in the game today and likely one of the best of all time once all is said and done.
Before McNabb in 2004, a >30 TD / <10 Int season hadn't been accomplished in the NFL. Peyton did have 49 and 10 that year.
Peyton then had 31 and 9 in 2006. Favre had a 33 and 7 season last year.
Brady has now done it twice, in 2007 with the 50 / 8 campaign and now this year with a 36 and 4 year. This year is more impressive in my opinion, given the team he is surrounded with.
I'm not a fan of what Vick did either but there are people who have killed other human beings playing in the NFL. Let's not put animals above human life.

As a Colts fan, I can't believe I'm about to say this:
Tom Brady should win the MVP award.
