I'm surprised all the gun ho military or death folks had no interest in the Viet Nam traveling memorial wall..... thought you all would at least appreciate seeing pics of it and the amazing experience of seeing it....
or was it that a liberal went and saw it, honored it and enjoyed it that was the problem with saying "hey that's really neat, wish I could see it too"? Can't put aside the liberal hate long enough to appreciate what the point was.... seeing the Memorial wall in person....
Oh well.....just sad to see overall....

This middle to the left has been to the memorial , DC, three times in my life..the first time supremely traumatic and only the help of volunteers there was I able to make it through..with help, the next two were much better. When it shows up here in Florida, believe it may have been here once but not sure, if able , will travel if possible to re visit, and it is wonderful that they have this moving memorial, not just for those of us who have participated in that event but for those who did not, were to young, to old , to remember when one commits to these things the sacrifice that will be asked of so many, the question has to be asked, is this really necessary, the price we are going to pay. To politicize this, it is a dishonor for my comrades in my eyes. It is not necessary and does a disservice to those who's names are inscribed there as well as those who just served there.
